• Anne (4/5): Dommage ca aurait pu être bien - L'emplacement Le manque d'entretien de l'appartement. Nous étions 5, 4 chaises seulement et dans un état déplorable. Comme l'indique tous les autres commentaires récent la douche ne fonctionne toujours pas. Le chauffage de la chambre non plus mais du coup il y a 2 chauffage électrique mobile. Heureusement puisque les fenêtres ne sont que décorative vis a vis des courants d'air. Un four dans la cuisine mais pas de gant pour prendre le plat...
• Андрущенко (5/5): - The location of the apartment is perfect! Cold apartment, broken shower, no shampoo, no shower gel. It's impossible to buy children!
• Callum (1/5): - Location - but this was not worth no running shower water, plumbing leaks, lack of cleanliness, lights hanging out of the wall and mould all over bathroom walls. We booked 4 nights but cancelled after a few hours in the apartment. Shower was being held up by a shoelace and tape. The shower did not work unless you held the shower head down below your knees and gravity took place. The bath had a leak which I can now see on reviews was from 2023 (although when contacting the host apparently a plumber was coming “next week”). Couches were dirty with stains. There was a light hanging out of the wall with wires exposed on the loft. Heating in the living space which had the pull out bed was not working properly. The balustrade handrail leading up into the property is damaged and is an accident waiting to happen This property is not habitable and should not be listed for use until such time considerable maintenance is completed.

• Wan Hui (2/5): Overall the location was good, hopefully has the bathroom fixed before the next guests visit - Location good The bathroom facilities were appalling. It was leaking when I arrived and the showerhead had tiny water outlets. The shower switch was also half loose and the temperature remained extremely high, making it impossible to adjust. This made the shower uncomfortable and difficult. It’s a bit disappointing given the prices.

• Sarah (7/5): A lovely, slightly quirky but clean, tidy and well presentedfantastic local apartment in an incredible central loction. - Lovely feel, loved the mezzanine and beams yet felt modern and open. An amazing location minutes from Piccadilly Circus and so many shops (great Tesco express around the corner) and numerous cafes/restaurants, yet in the apartment it felt so calm and peaceful. Clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen and clean sheets and towels. Easy to access. As others have reviewed, the bathroom needs some attention with the side of the bath taped up and loose floor tiles. Non existent water pressure so a shower wasn’t really possible. Not a problem as the bath was an option but for longer than an overnight stay this might be frustrating. Constant leaking bath tap. Kitchen was very well equipped but a tea towel would have been useful. Clean and tidy but a slight whiff of stale cigarette smoke was slightly off putting. Windows need some attention. Bedroom was really quiet and peaceful, those sleeping in front room on sofa bed/mezzanine bed were disturbed by lorries loading and unloading most of the night and early hours. To be honest though, we had expected it to be much noisier given the central location.

Appartamento carino Doccia non funzionante, ci siamo dovuti lavare nella vasca aiutandoci con una bacinella di fortuna (sarebbe stato opportuno controllare il funzionamento del servizio, considerando il prezzo). In generale isolamento acustico molto scarso.
• CHIARA (9/5): Perfetto e centrale. La proprietaria molto gentilmente ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli sia prima che dopo. Estremam - Perfetta, centrale. Dispone di tutto. Il vano scala è molto stretto… non c’è l’ascensore e se hai valigie devi portarle al terzo piano di peso. Entra molta luce al mattino perché ci sono solo delle tende un poco oscuranti.
• Sofie (5/5): Het was een prima appartement voor een paar dagen maar dat is vooral omdat de locatie zo fijn was. - De locatie was super. In het centrum genoeg in de buurt en de metro en bus zijn makkelijk te bereiken. De douche werkte niet omdat je een knop aan moest zetten voor goede druk en warm water. Dit is ons niet verteld van te voren dus hebben we dit nog moeten regelen. Ook zaten er vieze vlekjes op de bank en op sommig beddengoed en waren er verschillende dingen beschadigd zoals de leuning van een van de stoelen en de badkamer.

However, the lack of a lift combined with a very narrow staircase made handling our four large suitcases extremely difficult. Additionally, the hot water was unfortunately out of service on our final morning. Pros: Excellent and central location. Cons: no lift, narrow stairs) and a major amenity failure (no hot water on the last day).
• Simone (7/5): - Wer eine Ferienwohnung in top Lage sucht, sich auf den Londoner Wohnstandard einlassen kann und keine "Übergröße" hat, kann buchen. Die Ferienwohnung erreicht man über ein sehr schmales und steiles Treppenhaus. Dies ist typisch für London. Man braucht also eine gute Konditionen. Die Wohnung an sich war für uns (1 Erwachsener, zwei Jugendliche) vollkommen ausreichend und zweckmäßig. Wir haben gut geschlafen. In der Küche habe ich nur eine Kaffeemaschine vermisst, sonst alles vorhanden. Der runde Glastisch hat für uns drei geradeso zum Essen gereicht. Es gibt aber noch eine Art Beistelltisch. Diesen haben wir aber für die Ablage der Kleidung genutzt, denn es gibt keinen Schrank - lediglich ein paar Schubkästen. Man spürt, dass die Wohnung gern genutzt wird. Renoviert wird sie anscheinend nicht. Wenn was kaputt ist (z.B. Fliesen) dann bleibt es so. Im Bad fehlt eine Glasscheibe vom Fenster. Es reicht anscheinend das zusätzliche "Fenster" aus Plexiglas zum Verschließen, denkt sich die Vermietung. Apropos Bad: auch hier sollte man schlank sein. Das Badezimmer ist extrem schmal. Wie auf den Fotos im Angebot zu sehen, hat es die Breite des Waschbeckens. Ausladende Bewegung sind beim Zähneputzen nicht möglich. Apropos Fenster: die Rahmen aus Holz sind sehr marode. Wir hatten dadurch Besuch von den Ameisen, die von außen durch die "historischen " Holzrahmen gekommen sind. Haben uns im nahe gelegenen Tesco ein Spray gekauft und der Besuch verschwand wieder. Fazit: Zentrale Lage ist unschlagbar. Komfort typisch für die Stadt und nicht vergleichbar mit deutschen Standards. Aber, wir buchen gerne zentrale Ferienwohnungen und lernen dabei den lokalen Lebensstil kennen. Viele Londoner leben so. Wer sich darauf einlassen kann, ist hier also richtig. Deutsche Wohnstandards wird man vermutlich nur in sehr teuren Hotels finden.
• Alexandra Vangen (3/5): Svartmugg på badet, skumle trapper og utelys innendørs - Noen pluss var det dog; beliggenhet, vaskemaskin med mulighet for å vaske klær og pris. For det første, det er smale bratte trapper opp til leiligheten. Rekkverket er knekt, og trappa virker i veldig dårlig stand. Ved første øyekast er leiligheten helt ok. Etter vi hadde oppholdt oss der en liten stund la vi merke til en god del feil og mangler. Vinduene er gamle og råtne, det er skittent (spesielt oppå kjøkkenskap, som man ser ved å gå på hemsen), og ikke minst - det er masse svartmugg i taket på badet. Første kvelden virka dusjen, dag 2 slutta den å fungere. Prøvde å sende melding til verten uten hell. Heldigvis var det en i reisefølget som fikk forsket seg frem til å skru på en pumpe inne på vaskerommet slik at vi fikk vann i dusjen igjen. VELDIG upraktisk med kun 1 nøkkel til 4 voksne, som resulterte i at vi låste oss ute 1 gang. Det var også ekstremt upraktisk at tilgang til badet er gjennom soverommet. Det var montert utelys inne i stua, som gjorde at man har valget mellom mørkt eller flombelysning.

• Daniel (3/5): Good location, very disappointing facilities - The location was extremely convenient, right in the heart of West End - perfect if you're seeing a show The facilities were in poor condition.. going up 3 floors of wonky stairs, with the stair rails broken at parts, lots of broken bits in the apartment "fixed" with duck tape. Most disappointingly, we had no hot water during our stay, which is a real disgrace at £250 per night! We messaged facilities number provided, but the message didn't get acknowledged until after we checked out. I messaged the landlord about this and had no reply. Very poor.

• Tiago (6/5): Not good maintenance nor cleaning - The location is great! The house has potential, but unfortunately it needs more attention in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. The bathtub was broken, the shower holder was also broken, and the bathtub tap kept dripping. The carpet in the bedroom was quite dirty and dusty, which made it uncomfortable. The sofa also had several visible stains. Also one of the windows curtains was not working. With better cleaning and a few repairs, the stay could have been much more pleasant.
• Kristina (8/5): Un appartement à conseiller si on ne recherche pas le grand luxe. - L’emplacement est top! On arrive rapidement partout dans la ville. Bouché de métro proche. Assez de place pour une famille de 5. Appartement compacte et efficace, on avait tous ce qu’il nous fallait. Ca aurait été bien d‘avoir un deuxième jeu de clé pour les moments où nous nous partagions en 2 groupes.

The property needs serious plumbing work. The kitchen tap was hanging out and unsafe to use. The bathroom shower head was held up by a shoelace! The water pressure was great. The bathroom needs repairs also, rust chipping of the bath, only one light going. The bed downstairs was uncomfortable along with the sofa bed.

• Zane (5/5): Not value for money. - Apart of lamps what did not work, dangerous looking lamp hanging off the wall, broken chairs, broken unsafe hob, faulty kitchen tap and leaking bathroom tap, mold in the bathroom, location was perfect and hairdryer worked beautifully! :) Poor condition, not very clean.
• Virgo84 (7/5): Great location - The location is perfect and it’s close in Philippine Embassy just for 5 mins walking distance and close to restaurants we enjoy walking in the evening. I am thinking to come again because it’s good value for money and the apartment is spacious and good for family as there is another bedroom in the attic. My bed is comfortable. They provided two electric heaters and blow dryer. I have trouble with the stairs because I carrying our 2 luggage up to my designated room, the space in the bathroom is a very tight space and there’s no plenty enough room to walk in through the sink to brush my teeth, i am not feel safe of the towel heater as I accidentally touch my arm and the light in the bathroom needs changing.

In the last minute, they have changed the apartament. We need to be in a apartament 30 minutes from the piccadily and that messed up our trip intinerary.

Great communication from the host and a super-easy check-in / check-out process. Loads of stairs from the street to the apartment - not a problem for us but thought it worth mentioning for anyone with slight mobility issues.

• Marianne (9/5): Amazing location excellent for exploring London. - The location is excellent. The kitchen facilities worked well. The apartment worked well for us as a family. The apartment was clean and tidy. There were enough kitchen facilities to cook simple meals. The small dishwasher was great. I'm pleased there was a fan provided as it helped to circulate the air and dry the clothes (no clothes dryer). There was no laundry detergent supplied. There was only a small bottle of shampoo and a tiny bottle of shower soap at the back of the cupboard. Keep in mind that there is only one bathroom with access through the main bedroom. This was ok for us as we are a family, but might be awkward if staying with friends. The apartment is up a very steep narrow set of stairs, on the 3rd floor. Not appropriate for people with mobility issues or with very large bulky luggage. There is no lift.
• Antal-wokes (7/5): A bit run-down but it’s safe, ideally located and clean enough. - Perfect location, convenient kitchen, ticked requirements. There’s one bathroom which is only accessible through the main bedroom. Additionally all taps dripped.
• Sarah (6/5): Location is why you come and please set your expectations low for the flat itself. - The host was great! She made it happen that we could access the property early and she was communicative. The location is amazing-so walkable to everything. You have to come here for the location and do not plan on hanging out and enjoying where you are staying. The entrance/walk up is filthy and the steepness of the 4 story walk up was not listed anywhere. I had my 75+ year old parents with me and it would have been good to know. The kitchen had next to nothing and the bathroom was in disrepair. It's decorated/furnished with leftovers and it feels like it. Our bed upstairs was a mattress on the floor. It is also loud outside with lots of deliveries, etc. in the middle of the night. This is beyond the host's control but better windows would go a long way.

• Amber (3/5): Small, loud, and shabby - It was in a great location! It was close to Picadilly and walking distance to Buckingham Palace. We have many issues with this apartment. First off Anna is not very responsive. I reached out multiple times about multiple different issues and some were addressed and some were not. We reached out about the lack of tea towels, garbage bags, and issues with the couch bed not staying up, the towel rock not turning on, etc. Anna finally sent over a maintenance person a few times and some things were fixed and some were not. I finally got tired of trying to get them addressed. I ended up buying garbage bags and Kleenex myself. The apartment itself is older and the doorways are very short so my husband and my son who are over 6 ft tall bumped their head multiple times. There isn't a lot of storage space. There are no hooks for towels there are no shelves and little drawer space. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift. This wasn't an issue for us but I could see it being a problem for others. Overall, I didn't find this apartment family friendly at all or worth the money, even with the prime location.

• Rebecca (8/5): Very good - Location was great! The place was clean and fit our family. The sofa bed when pulled out did not stay up. It kept collapsing. People downstairs must smoke in hallway as the main room by front door had a cigarette smell. Windows are thin so sounds outside were easily heard. But knowing all this, I would stay here again.

• Tessel (7/5): Great location and pretty good value - bathroom & beds need fixing. - Fantastic location, great check-in procedure and good size apartment for the location. Everything was clean and bed linnen was available all around, this was very pleasant. The apartment is very quiet for its vicinity to all the main areas in the city centre. The shower / bathroom facilities were absolutely horrendous. The shower could not go down in heat, it was therefore impossible for us to shower (the water did not go below about 38°C, only much warmer). The bath tap was leaking, which means far too much water is lost. The bathroom is also very tiny. It would benefit more from having a shower only to provide more room. All in all, the bathroom definitely needs replacing. Also, the sleeping couch is terrible and needs replacing, the wheel on the extension keeps falling flat, you cannot sleep here with two people if this were required. The mattresses could do with replacing too, the springs were sticking out on multiple sides. It is not an absolute must but it would ramp up the value of the property significantly. This means the maximum would need to be 4 or 5 people, unless the mattresses and couch are replaced.

Also it’s on the 3rd floor with very steep stairs and no lift which we didn’t know before booking this, as one of my friends had very bad arthritis
• Heather (9/5): Superb - This is a fantastic location for the west end shows and tourist things in general. So many food outlets of all descriptions on the doorstep. Highly recommend this place for its location as long as you don't mind stairs The loft just needs a bit of TLC to bring it up to standard. Not enough big mugs and side plates for the number of people it holds.A mirror beside an electric socket for drying your hair would be great, The stairs to the second bed were not very good for getting up and down to the room.

The kitchen was adequate for what we needed (mainly breakfast and snacks). There was no place to put purchased food. The bathroom was also small.

The location is amazing. it’s really old and interesting but so well updated.

One block from Leicester square and Piccadilly square. - Pleasant ambience in the apartment - Nice host, was able to help us with our last minute booking - Nice comfortable beds - Stairs leading to the apartment (third floor) are quite narrow. - It could use a bit of maintenance and refurbishing - the kitchen counter, windows and bathroom have significant wear - The street side bedroom is quite noisy at night but this is expected given the location. Better windows would fix this, the existing windows are very old and do not insulate well.

Living room windows filthy, window falling out no secondary glazing and staircase not suitable children staying. Floor coming loose kitchen area pinch feet.

• Renia (2/5): EXTREMELY DIRTY - ABANDONED BUILDING - BAD COMMUNICATION WITH THE STAFF - Only the location. We’re waiting for a response outside of the apartment for more than 10 min. The receptionist responded after 5 missed calls. Our apartment was on the 3rd floor of a super dirty and old building and we had to follow stairs for 3 floors with our bags . The apartment was incredibly dirty , hair and dust everywhere, a cockroach in the carpet, the bathroom was damaged and super dirty. We were 6 people and the linen and towels were for 2 people only. After I called the receptionist to inform her that we dont have towles and linen to sleep she told us that it was too late to bring us ( 9pm). After an argument finally someone brought us a bag with towles and linen. The weirdest thing was that we had ONLY extremely hot water which means that we weren’t able to take a shower without burning our bodies. The windows were broken and cold air was coming from everywhere (noise of the street also.) The heaters weren’t working. We asked them to come and clean the room and they gave us only a specific time that they were able to come , that we couldn’t make it as we had already planned and paid tickets for the sightseeing, so finally nobody came. The last day we asked if we can leave our bags in the room until our departure (12:00am) , they told us yes and then we realized that the cleaners- actually the cleaner (1 guy with a Detol spray and a broom) was already in the apartment without even asking. ( he had spare keys).

• Marie (5/5): Too expensive for the state of the apartment (broken window, noise from the street and cigarette smell from linen stored - Well located, very central. Broken window, very noisy (hole in window), smell of cigarette from previous visitors (linen stored in the flat while we were there), Too expensive for the state of the apartment. Toaster did not seem to work.
• Ignas (6/5): Pleasant - Watch out your head everywhere ! Doors are sooo small inside the apartments.
• Tary (8/5): Location, Location, Location! Great space and Nice Sized Apartment but needs repairs/deep cleaning - Location, location, location! This was by far the best location i have stayed in London (approximately 5 times). You are close to major metro stop, and Bus stop that can take you to Big Ben. Also you can walk pretty much anywhere, China Town and Covent Garden are very close. This apartment was large enough to accommodate my group (3 adults, 2 children), however the layout was not ideal at all with the Loft stairs being very scary (no kids up there) and the bathroom being all the way in the master bedroom. This made for inconvenient and awkward trips to the bathroom in the middle of the night! The water pressure for the shower was good. While the apartment was spacious and accommodating for our group of 5 - the layout was not idea with the steep stairs and most challenging the bathroom located within the master bedroom. The cleanliness of the apartment was not great, there was a lot of dust in the living room and dust under the couch that i needed to open for another bed. Also we tried to use the heater but the burning dust smell was so strong we had to turn off. There were dishes put away with stuck food on them which was very unappealing, and the door knob in the bathroom fell off. The sink in the kitchen does not have adequate water pressure or hot water to do the dishes but thankfully there is a dishwasher. The street can be noisy at night with bar patrons from around the corner yelling and delivery trucks in the early morning. However, based on location i was not surprised by this. The noise is heard in living room/loft, but the bedroom is quiet. Despite the notes above I do not regret staying here and would do so again due to the convenient location and space offered.
• Karen (8/5): Very good - The owner cooperated well with us, allowed access early to drop bags off. The location is excellent, apartment bedroom at back was so quiet which I was surprised given central location. Great place to re group in afternoons before heading out to see London sights and delights. Has all amenities necessary, kitchen fully equipped with essentials we had breakfasts in each morning (lunch and tea ate out! So msny restaurants close by), bath towels, ironing board, hair dryers all supplied. The apartment is on 3rd floor (stairs only) on the plus side get some extra steps on your fitbit. Sister was heavily pregnant and she was ok with this just be aware if you have difficulty with stairs. Paint slightly peeling in some places.
• תומר (8/5): Recommended for friends for travelling . - The apartment is designed well, it has a nice Living room combined with kitchen, the location is great . The owner is Cooperating well . The toilet handle was broken, the apartment is floor 3 (stairs only), and there is no air conditioner . The paint in the apartment is peeling in some places
