Guest Reviews
- LAURENCE (8/5): - Location very close to my daughter' house and near to train and subway stations Surroundings are noisy
- Martin (8/5): Great place for a weekend stay 🙂 - Great location 3mins from tube, easy to find, good communication from hosts.
- V. (9/5): Clean, comfortable, and helpful host – good connections to the city - The apartment met all our expectations during 5 days. It was very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the nice view from the window, and although the street is busy, the windows insulated the noise very well. The host was quick and kind in replying to our messages and provided all the necessary information on time. The location is convenient - close to shops, pubs, and both the train and bus stations, with good connections to the city center and main tourist attractions. The air conditioning and wi-fi worked perfectly, and the kitchen was well equipped. The neighborhood might not seem very appealing at first (some homeless people on the sidewalks and a lot of graffiti), but we didn’t experience any issues. The only things we missed were a wardrobe for storing clothes and a kitchen table - adding these would make the apartment even better.

- Constantin (5/5): Passable - The apartment was okay for our short trip. Comfy bed, and close to the New Cross Gate Station. The bathroom definitely needs some improvement. It smelled of mildew when we first entered and the flush button on the toilet was broken. You have to stick your finger in there to push it, which wasn't very nice. Also the sideboard in the main room was dusty, I had to wipe it off before putting anything on it. Good thing that we always carry disinfectant wipes with us.. 🫣
- Karen (8/5): Very good - Very close to the train station and grocery shop. We'll appointed kitchen. Alot of stairs but a great view
- Erica (8/5): Very good -
- Samanta (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect apartment for a long stay in London. It has all the necessary services and the staff is helpful. I recommend! Nothing
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Very good - The place was clean, contained everything that one might reasonably need and quiet enough for me to sleep comfortably.
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional - The location was really good, nearby there were shops, restaurants, bus stops, rail stations, the place was very clean and with a nice view of London. I would definitely stay again
- David (8/5): As it’s advertised quirky and clean. I would definitely stay here again. - Secure and quiet. Plenty parking at the rear of building. Shower wasn’t very good.
- Carol (8/5): Perfect for my needs. - Myles was very kind and patient on the phone. Lots of stairs up to the flat - bit of an issue for me as I have lung disease.
- Evelyn (8/5): Super convenient location, nice, quiet, little flat! - Excellent location - we were there for an event at the New Cross Inn, and this is super close. The flat was also super quiet - you'd never know you were on the New Cross Road! The flat also has air conditioning which, in the heatwave we had when we stayed, was very much appreciated. The host was really responsive and lovely as well. The flat is a bit tired - the bathroom could do with some work as could the kitchen, but, it is all very clean and serviceable. The building's got lots of fire doors which, if left, will slam shut quite loudly, so this can be a bit disconcerting, but you get used to it.
- Ngah (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was clean Nothing
- Kweon (5/5): Passable -
- Sean (10/5): Amazing stay, going back again - Amazing host, available at anytime, the view of London city was great, close to public transports, lovely pubs and park just near by, 2 min walks, 10 min from Shard and Tower Bridge, the flat was super clean, all facilities. Overall everything was great stay . Nothing
- Pam (8/5): Very good - Had everything we needed for a short break. Great location for public transport. Outside visual appearance on arrival. Grout round Bath mouldy in places.
- Barrington (8/5): Very good - Location and facilities.Spacious and clean great view and facilities. Miles was very accommodating 52 Stairs lol. could do with a few tweks. I.e. a dinning table and small wardrobe and maybe a headboard. Setee was not very comfortable
- Jason (8/5): Very good -
- Amir (10/5): Pretty Comfy and Bright Studio, 45' away from downtown London on a bus. -
- Alistair (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (9/5): Superb - Very well equipped, everything you would need and more. I'm just being picky but the frying pans aren't good for cooking unless you want to use a lot of oil because they aren't non stick
- Ruey (3/5): Noisy place - Close to the tube Noisy
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Satyam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (5/5): Passable - Small self contained accomodation close to transport..Owner was responsive to messages Water heating didn't work so I couldn't get a shower and there was a large cockroach in the kitchen. The flat seemed really clean apart from this but it meant I didn't get any sleep
- Kralj (7/5): Spatious and well-equipped appartment conveniently located for public transport to central London. - The apartment is conveniently located near New Cross and New Cross Gate railway stations, one stop (5–10 minutes) to the London Bridge tube hub, and a few stations to other tube stops. The apartment is quiet because it is on the other side of the building, away from New Cross Street and its traffic. The view is spectacular; you can see the central London skyline with its skyscrapers. The apartment is quite large. The neighbourhood's first impression was unsettling. There was a lot of traffic, some homeless people on the sidewalks, and graffiti everywhere. We had no problems, but I would proceed with caution. I'd also appreciate it if the apartment had a safe for storing travel documents and valuables.
