• Jesse (10/5): Wonderful accommodation for a trip away for work - We love how adaptive the house is to all the different needs that could come along with booking a house of this size. This was our second time booking this house to travel for work and it has been amazing both times. We will be back in the area in a few weeks and will book this house again then for sure! Nothing - It met all our needs for a work trip in the area. We had no issues at all with the property.
• Cijo (4/5): We all felt it was not worth the money, it was a disppointing stay. - The location and kayaking was very good It was not clean, there was dust everywhere. Used laundry was still in the washing machines and also somewhere kept unfolded and pushed in the hidden spaces. We were unable to use the air con downstairs due to the property being very dusty and had young children with us. So worried to get sick during the trip. The upstairs were maintained ok but there was dust floors were dirty. Not enough toiletries for the guest, we had to buy our own even-though it was mentioned in the things included during the stay. Not enough coffee, tea sugar or salt left in the kitchen. Again very minimal supplies to clean. We were a group of 18 and booked for 3 nights stay, when we booked for such a huge price we thought at-least we would get enough toilet papers but was left half a roll of toilet tissues in each bathroom. So basically rather than enjoying our stay we had to worry about grocery and other supplies shopping. Moreover every room had individual digital locks which wouldn’t work properly so we had to get the housekeeper to bring in extra keys to get in to the rooms and couldn’t use the digital locks in one of the rooms at all.
• Andreina (5/5): Great views, large property for a big family but massive let down by uncleanliness - I liked the view. I liked that there were enough beds to accomodate all guests. I liked that there was enough parking space for 4 vehicles. The property is wheelchair accessible. We used our own ramp into the front door. The cleanliness or lack of, really let the property down. There were dead insects inside the property, rat and mice droppings inside the tracks of the sliding door, in particular the downstairs. The floors were absolutely filthy. Had not been mopped prior to our arrival. Blood stained quilt cover and hair. Had to sleep with no blanket. Another bed was a pubic hair in it. Seems like beds are not changed between stays which is appalling. Not enough toilet paper. Dead bird in the gutter just above the outdoor entertainment area which had a foul smell. Downstairs is its own dwelling. 2 bedrooms and living space and kitchen but no internal connection to the upstairs. Separate entry. Not ideal. My 2 year old after walking around the house for 10 minutes had black feet from the dirty floors. Unfortunately would not stay here again. Owner did nothing when alerted about the blood stained quilt. Definitely not worth $2000.00 for 2 nights. I’m pretty sure we left the property cleaner than how we found it.
• Manting (8/5): All good except kitchen - Nice view, big and enough room for big group Kitchen not clean, kitchenware all under damage, couldn’t use them at all, no tissue boxes provided, only left a little bit hand wash for us to stay for three nights

• Rohan (9/5): Nice holiday home to stay with family and will surely revisit again soon🤗 - Large living room facing to the lakeside and the overall view was exceptional. Firstly, The alarms kept beeping and each time it had to be disarmed. It took time to understand how to operate and off the alarm aound. Secondly, there was no stock of Sugar on the upper floor when required. Thirdly is about the AC. The first room from entrance was lot cooler with AC ON and the other rooms was feeling humid with no proper air flowing through the vent

• Belinda (7/5): Comfortable house. Nice location. Disgusting treatment from bookings and the property manager - The house was a good space. The location was good Unfortunately the information advertised on booking and paying was incorrect. The house is advertised on booking as a 7 bedroom house when in fact it is just 6. When I tried to have a conversation about this and ask for some compensation for the fact I was lied to I was just given a generic response that didn’t address my issue. The communication and customer care was disgraceful. The balcony is not at all waterproof either so we couldn’t sit outside even when it didn’t rain as all the chairs were wet

• Andrew (9/5): Superb - The property was perfect for our extended family to spend to spend a few days together in an excellent location. The property is well equipped and very suitable for 12 people. A couple of minor issues were resolved by excellent customer support. We would recommend this property and look forward to returning if the opportunity arises.

• Jenny (9/5): Overall we had a great stay at Royal Retreat & would consider staying again in the future. - The property is in an excellent waterfront location. Kids played cricket & football on the large grass area & went fishing too. There is also a walkway around the lake, good for walking, bike riding. There is a local set of small shops on same street & Woolworths is only a 4 min drive. Great size to accommodate large groups. The owner was easy to contact to answer any questions during our stay. The downstairs apartment had a “damp” smell. The outdoor barbecue is very old & needs replacing.
