This self-catering holiday home is almost 100 years old and retains much of its original charm. The old school room is now the living and dining area, and features the original black chalk boards. The rest of the house is furnished with soothing interior decor and features impressive views of the surrounding landscape. The house contains a well-equipped, country-style kitchen as well as an outdoor propane barbecue and covered seating area. Towels, bed linens and basic toiletries are provided at no additional cost. Free WiFi is also included.

Barbara (1/5): Terrible experience - I booked and paid for the property, but the host later canceled my reservation, claiming the listed price was incorrect. By that time, everything was already packed, and I had to cancel our entire New Year’s trip because the host wanted more money. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing for our whole family. It felt like a scam.
Diana (6/5): Good value for money - The host was very nice and the location was good, wi-fi was good too. It is definitely a nice place for country lovers. The bathroom needs updating, you need to climb a step to get in the bath. Getting in was not too bad, getting out was scary. The main bedroom had no door just a curtain and there is no TV. A washing machine and dryer would have been convenient. Overall the place needs updating. It has it's charm but we lacked the comforts of our home.
