Guest Reviews
- Jared (2/5): Clean and comfortable, but poor service and security. - Good location for nightlife on James St, walking distance to museum, gallery, train station, CATbus and CBD. Clean and comfortable apartment. Check in process was a debacle. I was sent information including a lock box code to obtain the key, which didn't work. The room we were originally allocated was occupied, then we were allocated a one bedroom apartment when we had booked a 2 bedroom. Luckily at the time I was checking in the property manager was on site, this is not always the case. Eventually we were allocated a 3rd room but told we could only stay in it for one night and then swap to a 4th room, and we would have to allow for the guests currently in that room to check out and move our belongings. There was no communication about when the guests might be moving, so we had to waste half our morning and personally knock on their door to explain.
When we were eventually in the 4th apartment it was fine for the rest of the trip, however the advertised spa was out of order for the whole time, which I was looking forward to using. A key fob is required to access the front door and only one was provided, I had to ask for a second.
Security is an issue in that neighbourhood with quite a few homeless or drug affected people walking around, and the only lock on the apartment doors is a 4 digit pin which is similar format throughout the entire complex. I would not return.
The TV was disconnected and with no aerial, and not a Smart TV I was able to cast to. I located an extension cord and external aerial to plug in but this only picked up ABC and radio.
The building is currently also undergoing renovations and on a Saturday night the crowds and sirens outside is very loud.
- Jones (7/5): No large complaints considering the cost and location. - location was good to access public transport or visit the CBD. price was on point for what you got. beds were comfortable which helps everyone enjoy the holiday more. room was neat and tidy. they provided laundry detergent and washing up facilities. a couple of coffee pods (which didn't last long for the week long stay). downside it was very loud being across the road from the police station and some main traffic roads. the apartment itself had several maintenance issues, doors broken, holes in walls, screen door was removed and left in the way on the balcony, leaking taps. communal areas are dated and rundown but while we were there some renovation work like the new entry level tiles were being undertaken which should be a positive for the future. security could be improved further. We had several occasions in the week where outside people found their way inside the main entrance and either slept or loitered around the premise.
- Xavier (7/5): - Lit comfortable, fonctionnelle, lumineux, terrasse, early and late check-out available on demand Low wifi bandwidth, we found a sewing needle in one bed, only 4 coffee pods for 3 persons during 3 days,
- Mugiie (10/5): - The location and quietness away from the busy hub of Northbridge. The screen door for the balcony was broken or off the railing nonetheless all good.
- Gena (9/5): Very busy stay with lots of restaurants to choose from. - Location was very central and busy. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet. The pool needs to be cleaned
- Wang (8/5): -
- Betty (9/5): Superb - Is is fully equipped, so you can travel light because you do the laundry and dry the laundry any time The only thing in my mind is it is perfect if have 2 bathroom in 2 bed room apartment.
- Kerry (8/5): Very good - Nice & close to everything
- Bernard (9/5): Nice central location. Quiet. - Great location. Good facilities. Couldnt find standard tv channels
- Rachael (4/5): Disappointing - the written listing did not match what you were provided. Ask for an extra key fob before you get there, - It's location, and it was very clean and the beds were comfy. The cleaning staff obviously do an exceptional job cleaning it. There should be an alert to ask for more than one key fob if not planning the same activities as your travel companions- this would have been apreciated.
The apartment didn't entirely match the listing.
It was not listed as being an air bnb style accommodation (with the accompanying rules for clean up before leaving). It was a 'cloud bnb' managed apartment which is fine, if it had been listed as such in the listing (there was room on the booking.com to list this - and all their specific rules and this was omitted- we were just sent a booklet the day before with all the requirements. These should be listed on the booking.com listing for transparency.
It was listed having a bath and a hot tub and a BBQ in the apartment - there wasn't - well there was a bath - but no matching plug (the laundry trough one didn't fit it and no it wasnt in any of the cupboards or drawers as I had checked before ckecking it with the site).
Additionally -the hot tub was a communal one that you had access to, as was the BBQ, they were location facilities not in the apartment itself as inferred in the booking.
Other similar sites listed this clearly in their listing. It's fine for it to be that way, just state it.
Additionally - we booked a two bedroom apartment with a balcony. In the welcome booklet with the info it noted we need a fob to get into the building and that there was a drop box to collect. Thy booking.com listing just lists a key code.
It was only on arrival that we found out that while you needed the fob to access the building or parking, you were only given one. It should be noted that larger parties might need more than one fob.
We booked accommodation for 4 people, and had planned to do different things while staying.
- Mohamed (7/5): Good - Was nice and we enjoyed but the parking was annoying Inside the bedroom and the bathroom and also the kitchen and living area was amazing
- Malcolm (7/5): Good -
- Seamus (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment. The facilities were excellent and spotless clean.evertthing we needed.location is excellent had the whole city within walking distance.would highly recommended this property for a stay in perth Nothing
