Guest Reviews
- Emilia (10/5): -
- Katy (7/5): Affordable and comfortable - Okay, let's be real, it's a little rough around the edges, but if you're looking for cheap and central then this is for you! The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are basic, but I really don't see why that would ever matter, you're in London, go explore. If you're looking for a luxury experience this isn't for you, but if you're looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and affordable in the wonderful BrickLane area, then book this gem immediately.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dervla (9/5): Great location, hot shower and clean facilities - Location and cleanliness of room and facilities No plug sockets bedside bed
- Seccombe (6/5): Pleasant -
- David (7/5): comfortable, clean and great location. -
- Michael (8/5): Good value - Very good value for money, secure and clean Nothing
- John (1/5): Bad -
- Debora (6/5): Good location, a good room to spend the night and have a shower. - Good location Room and bathroom could be cleaner, with a bathroom mat on the floor.
- Sofia (9/5): Great stay! - Nice and proper room, quite spacious for London standards. Bathroom shared with only one other room, with a couple of guests. All guests were respectful, the kitchen area was nice and clean. Nothing to complain about, the place was clean and nice.
- Marta (7/5): Good - The room was fine, it met expectations. A well-equipped kitchen available on site. Close to the centre. The area does not look very safe, we arrived when it was already dark and it did not make a good impression on us.
- Kaine (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Worth it - Newly updated room, good value, good location near restaurants and market place, newer appliances, large tub, overall comfortable place. At first glance, we were worried about location, but it's actually just in a recently gentrified area and had no issues one we had a look around.
- Joal (1/5): Unpleasant experience - Central Not clean, had no hot water. Requested a refund and this hasn’t materialised
- Bella (10/5): Amazing place to stay - Very lovely place to stay very close to everything we needed, the staff was amazing cleaned early for us to book in will be back
- Jacob-herman (7/5): ok - it was quite hard to get into the place ;=get the keys we liked the grafiti wall
- Chloe (9/5): Comfy apartment - Easy to find, clear instructions, very nice room, with decent kitchen and bathroom. Flat B shared with one other room. No issues with other residents (passed each other in the kitchen in the morning, very friendly tourists). Take earplugs and eye mask as light and street noise comes in through windows. I had a comfortable sleep, and would stay again, no issues. Towels provided but take own shower gel. Handful of tea and coffee in kitchen and large fridge provided. Quick response to my query from the owner appreciated.
- Laura (7/5): Good -
- Jenni (1/5): Bad - There was not enough towels in the room and the bed sheets were dirty.i called the owner immediately and provided the pics of this but never even go a reply.
- Khalilullah (7/5): Good -
- Raynell (8/5): Very good -
- Martindale (5/5): Ok place - Cost effective and really close to my appointments Dusty, bed was really uncomfortable, but then again the price
- Hong (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kay (7/5): Pleasant once it was light as in the dark it looked like the a prison with all the iron gates . - The room and facilties Arriving in the dark lightening outside the property not the best and a little frightening as a female on her own.
- Aidan (8/5): Very good -
- Anja (8/5): exactly what i expected, everything was just fine - everything as shown in the pictures! clean and comfortable room
- Jaspinder (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Excellent for the price paid. Would definitely stay again -
- Lukas (6/5): Pleasant -
- Clare (5/5): Average but needs some care and attention - The bedroom and bathroom were clean.
The bed was comfy. The communal kitchen was dirty and looked un cared for.
The blinds in the bedroom were insufficient to block out the very bright street lights thus hard to sleep well.
The access instructions were difficult to understand.
- Caoimhe (7/5): Basic & reasonable - great location - The location is perfect. Just on brick lane- loads of vintage shops/ food markets etc near by. Self check in was well explained . Room had decent space . Shared bathroom was clean enough. It’s very basic but does the job if you just need a place to sleep The room smelled really bad / stale
- Brittany (8/5): Very good - Great location- Walking distance to markets, transport and London sights.
Clean and tidy apartment. Streets nearby appeared a little unsafe at night. Would recommend always walking with someone, particularly if not familiar with the area.
Despite this, the area is quirky and great to access many London hot spots.
- R (5/5): Good for a short stay suci as one or two nights - The location was great, Bed was comfortable The cleanliness let it down.
The bed was nicely made but there was balls of hair and dust noticed under the bed.
There was a near empty hand wash and empty little body wash and shampoo left In he bathroom which I thought was for our use we had to go out and buy body wash and shampoo.
I think providing at the least the handwash should come as a standard like other places due to the bathroom being shared with another room.
The pull down light switch should be replaced as its unhygienic.
It was quite noisey with doors being opened and closed during the morning.
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Claudia (6/5): Pleasant - Location was good, though the area was noisy and looked rough I didn't like the shared bathroom. When I first booked, it did not mention it. Only after confirmation I realized that. And the bathroom floor wasn't too clean either.
- Emil (5/5): Passable -
- Chad (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lina (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean apartments. Share kitchen & bathroom just for 2 rooms. That's better than I expected x Noisy around the property. It's hard to relax.
- Sarah (7/5): Good shared space, good location - The location is excellent, the room was spacious and it was great to have access to a kitchen for a longer stay in London. The bed was really uncomfortable, and the instructions on arrival could have been more clear. Since we didn’t have wifi it would have been good to know that instructions for access aren’t being sent through until your check in time - the instructions make it seem like the property is staffed but it isn’t.
- Valentina (8/5): Fantastic stay, would recommend - Great location, spacious room, very well cleaned. Very loud neighbourhood on Saturday night, wouldn’t recommend if you have light sleep.
- Rhiannon (7/5): Good -
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Tjeerd (8/5): Perfect stay for a Shoreditch lovin’ couple. - Location was nice for us, great base for all we visited in London. The queen size bed wasn’t really for us. After long days in the city, a comfortable bed is a must have. That being said, the rest of the appartment is geeat at this price. Breakfast at Watchhouse or Hub.
- Nick-k (7/5): Quirky clean room in the middle of a vibrant area. Shared Bathroom the let down - Close proximity to main train stations. Close proximity to local attractions. Area is very unique in many fronts. Fashion, art, socialising at great level Sharing a bathroom remind me school years. Bathroom itself ok. Bit overwhelming coming to the place at night. Door locks can be a handful
- Mark (9/5): Great value for overnight stay - Clean room, great price for London. Only 10-15 mins from London Liverpool Street. Shared bathroom was on my floor (1st) so not an issue. There are however other floors so unsure if this serves all apartments, if it does then might not be ideal for some people.
There are a few side streets to get to the apartments and there is a lot of graffiti, all be it most seemed to be artistic, however may be a concern for some returning later at night in terms of safety etc.
- Camille (8/5): Very good -
- Zoe (6/5): Good location, clean and a comfy bed. - Good location, clean and a comfy bed The entrance and way in doesn’t feel very inviting and quite run down. I struggled with the keys to begin with, which key opened what door, but they worked fine in the end.
- Anna (8/5): Very good -
- Lizelle (10/5): Exceptional - The room and facilities were excellent. Save parking. Great location to explore Brick Lane and the surrounding area. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. Value for money 😊
- Manuel (9/5): Superb -
- Danielle (9/5): Superb -
- Noleen (7/5): Good -
- Marianne (9/5): empfehlenswert - location is great and surprizingly quiet. It would be helpful to know in advance, that we will receive a code for the key box. Since I didnt have internet access on my way I didnt see the last message and I rang the bell befor figuring out that it was in the box.
- Vorashil (6/5): Pleasant -
- K. (8/5): Nice appartment near Bricklane Street - good area. in a side street right on bricklane shoreditch, close to liverpool street from where you can get everywhere. very nice hosts, friendly email contact, easy self-check-in, price-performance ratio okay for the area a bit loud, despite the side street
- Laura (8/5): Very good -
- Samir (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice room that provided great utilities like a kitchen and bathroom. But in the room it also provided a tele, iron and hair dryer which I have not seen in a lot of other places. Nothing negative to say.
- Cardoso (5/5): Passable -
- Charlotte (8/5): Perfect value for money, lovely host, good stay overall! - Super friendly staff. The owner gave me a warm welcome and helped me with some difficulties I had with my luggage and travel schedule. It was clean enough for the price but I think a bit of “deeper” cleaning (behind desk, corners of bathroom) would make the place even better. I loved my stay here so thank you very much
- Salud (8/5): Clean room in a perfect location - The host was very available. The location was really good and the room was super clean. I would have love a lamp near to the bed to read. Also better curtains so the room is completely dark. But I am just being picky. The room is beautiful.
- Johanne (7/5): Good -
- Lina (8/5): Will definitely come back ! Thank you - Nice clean good communication Little bit noisy aircon but only because I’m a light sleeper!
- Eli (9/5): Nice apartment and friendly host. - The location was perfect and room exceptionally clean. Really good value and it was a nice touch to have the essentials too (hair dryer, towels, iron, body wash etc). The heating came on in the night which made the room quite hot, otherwise was fine.
- Mark (8/5): Great location, clean, good communication. - Good communication with the owner. Shared bathroom.
I didn't realise that the parking was extra - but this was my fault as I didn't read the info.
- Kinga (9/5): Good place for a weekend for Brick Lane fans - It is causy room in a clean apartment. Bed sheets and towels white and fresh.
Communication very effective and all the instructions clear. We could check in early.
In the kitchen tea/coffee available.
We love Brick Lane so it was a great spot for us. The light outside was very bright, but there were blind available.
- Orelando (8/5): Very good -
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Céline (9/5): Comfortable flat, good location and value for money - The location was a few minutes walk away from my office. 10 min from old street and liverpool station by walk.
The flat was super clean, and warm, the bed was comfy with a big nice duvet. The room was big.
Hair dryer available, as well as ironing table and iron.
Kettle, cup and tea bag available on the kitchen. I did not meet the staff in person, but they were helpful on messages and even let me checkin a bit earlier than planned. Althought the flat was warm, the bedroom was too chilly.
The street was a bit dodgy with questionable people.
- Clizia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Thank you Aziz for being such a nice guy, I would love to return and stay here! - Spotless room. Bed was very comfy. Offered all the fundamental needs such as hair dryer, ironing board, tea, coffee.
Aziz was an incredibly friendly and helpful host. Hard to locate but Aziz gave good instructions.
- Grzegorz (8/5): It was nice! - The room was really nice and clean along with the bathroom. When you're a person from a continent you won't be used to how cold is percived in UK, often its really cold due to big humidity but in this room you had a very big, nice and fat duvet. There was an info on the wall not to touch the thermostat but if you felt cold it was an option to have a hot shower and then the fat duvet :D It's not that I didn't like it it just was a suprise, the entrance to the building and apartment was quite scary, but eveything bad dissappearde when you entered the room :)
- Andrea (10/5): Absolutely recommended - Clean, tidy with a comfortable room
- Isha (7/5): Good -
- Kimo (9/5): Too short :) - Very nice people and great location
