Guest Reviews
- STEPHEN (5/5): Nice but overpriced - The bed was very comfortable and high quality linen. Very expensive especially considering there’s only a communal toilet which is not very close.

- Elizabeth (10/5): - Absolutely lovely staff and great facilities! Literally everything was thought of in the tent, from lanterns to wine glasses. Super comfortable bed with extra blankets and lots of pillows. The bathroom facilities were also super nice and had obviously been recently renovated with care, ledge for toiletry bags, lots of hooks ect. Also everything was very clean!
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Bruno (10/5): Ordinary on the outside - extraordinary on the inside. - Location is excellent. On arrival the villa appeared ordinary on the outside. However, it is extraordinary on the inside.
I asked how old the unit is and was told "about 2 years" which amazed me as it appears brand new.
Special mention for Narelle who recommended an excellent venue for dinner on a Monday night. This was within walking distance so that our whole party could enjoy a drink. I cannot add anything here.
- Sharon (10/5): -
- LUCIA (9/5): Beautiful property, great villa, great facilities and lovely staff: - Neat, great location and great facilities.
- Juli (10/5): Very relaxing stay in a peaceful spot right beside the botanical gardens - The villa was modern and very clean. The grounds were very neat and well maintained. Nothing
- Rachel (10/5): - Second time here, love the bell tents. The bush outlook is beautiful, lots of birdsong and the occasional roo. Very cosy on a chilly night. Very clear communications and a warm welcome from admin.
- Jake (10/5): Perfect - Amazing service and place to stay. The villa was incredible 👌

- Sabina (8/5): A new experience for my partner and I and we absolutely loved everything about Castlemaine - Amazing location. Great site and very clean… and glam… a heater in our room?! Perfection You’re close to your neighbours
- Elizabeth (10/5): Exceptional - It was a really beautiful location and the tent was spacious, comfortable and stylish.
The only thing we didn’t like was how far away the toilets were.

- Tommy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Geny (7/5): Good - was clean

- Claire (6/5): Glamping was a great idea in theory but sadly not a great choice this time. - Tilge glamping tents were lovely- really clean, warm and well appointed. They looked great and the bed was super comfy . Staff were lovely, shower blocks well maintained. Sadly, noisy neighbours kept me awake until well after midnight, as did noise from the nearby highway and train line. This really impacted my stay as I was really tired and needed sleep. Tents do not block noise at all well and I wish I’d packed ear plugs. A power plug closer to the bed would have been handy.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zhang (8/5): Very good - GLP Areas are so low and we get our headache because of the low brunches😭
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -

- Eve (9/5): Good - It was very clean -
- Ryan (9/5): Beautiful and peaceful trip - The tents were extremely comfortable and the air conditioning was particularly good. The shower/ bathroom facilities were a little far from the tent.
- Dona (8/5): Very good - Did have kitchen near the rooms. The kitchen lights were turned off 10 mins before 10pm.
- Shah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful views, warm cosy tent, friendly staff
- Carmeng13 (10/5): It was a fabulous stay made even better by the great location of this caravan park. - The location was superb. So close to the Mill with its large number of businesses all within easy walking distance from the caravan park. I understand the space is limited in the glamping tent, but a small table either indoors or out would have made meal prep and easting a little more comfortable.
- Yi (7/5): Good - It’s easy to find, the bell tent is closed to the bathroom, little bit far away from the kitchen and laundry.
Provided heater, bed is comfy.
The view is nice, close to central. The bell tents are to closed to each other, you can hear everyone’s talking.
It’s closed to main road, you can hear car drives by all the time.
Shared bathroom, takes time to get hot water and low water pressure.
- Karan (8/5): Very good -
- Khushpreet (7/5): Good - Comfortable Tent too close and heard people talking
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional - Even if it was winter it so warm and cosy inside the tent How close it was to the train station
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Gemma (7/5): Good -
- Reiners (8/5): Very good - Comfortable tents Unfortunately pool wasn't in use, apparently an incident with poop in pool and a set of toilets were not very clean
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and really comfortable stay. Highly recommended!
- Michelle (9/5): Wonderful location with excellent facilities. - The property is beautifully situated right behind the Botanical Gardens and close to all the places in The Mill precinct, as well as the Railway and Bridge Hotels. The glamping tents were so cosy. Our glamping tent was unfortunately right next to the Safari tent which housed a rowdy group that took no notice that the rest of the park was exceptionally quiet and this dampened our stay a little.
- Brett (7/5): overall happy with the experience. - Clean, Something different from a normal motel stay. Good clean facilities and great shower. Great communication from host with contactless check in. Overpriced for a tent with shared toilet facilities. Only a meter between our glamping tent and neighboring tents.
- Jinyi (10/5): It was a really pleasant experience and we want to visit again in the future! - Everything is very tidy and well- prepared. The neighbors are friendly. Walking in the botanical garden was chill and relaxed. There was a very short distance between the site to Mill market. N/A
- Alvin (8/5): Luxury Glamping experience - -Tents facing the park makes one feels relax
-Clean toilet and shower
-Comfy bed
-Sufficient Amenities in tent
-Quiet during the night -Tent entrance was low and had to keep bending down to go in and out. Not comfortable for people with lower back problem.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
