- Maria (1/5): Pictures are from a completely diferent apparment and apartment maitainance is poor. - The photos are not the same as the ads, I was travelling with people who could not use a bathtub and when I arrived the bathroom was completely different and the facility had a bathtub instead of a walk in shower as in the pictures. That was 2 levers of stairs INSIDE the flat, including to access the bathroom. The flat door was not properly locking and the staff said to SLAM the door to be able to close every time. It was impossible to my family use the facilities as I specifically selected this place because the bathroom didn't have a bathtub based on all the ad pics. None of the pictures are from the apartment they gave to me. I needed to leave minutes after I got the keys and find another place my family could stay. They sent back the extra deposit of 150 pounds I needed to pay, but I lost all the amount paid for the accomodation which is not the same they are advertising. Don't book this place.

- Ben (5/5): Ok - The location was ok, it's less expensive compared to other places. Easy accessible to restaurants Please don't visit this apartment with the specs given in Advertisement.. The Single rooms given in the photos are not at all the same. We expected the same rooms but was disappointing to see different set ups.
- Rhianne (1/5): Disgusting - I absolutely hate writing bad reviews, but Modern Apartments has left me no choice. Flat C looks nothing like the pictures. The toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom is so tiny that you can literally burn your legs if the heating is on. The shower curtain was stained with so much mildew it looked like blood. The lock on the front door felt like it could fall off any second – completely unsafe. The floor was sticky, the rug and carpets hadn’t been hoovered, and there were food crumbs under the microwave. The entire place was filthy from A to Z. When we raised these issues, the staff were beyond rude. One staff member refused to give his name – probably because he knew how unprofessional he was. He actually said, “It’s your fault for booking after seeing the low rating.” And honestly, he’s not wrong – we tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. Big mistake. The situation got even worse when we tried to resolve things through Booking.com. At 1am, with our family of four, they threatened to remove our belongings for simply trying to find a solution. Completely unacceptable and disgraceful behaviour. I also have video evidence and will be escalating this further. Ruined our stay and experience. Do yourself a favour – stay away.
- Anna (1/5): Bizzare and dirty appt in a convinent location for good price. - Location Dirty apartment, black mold on windows and walls (!), someone's underwear on the floor in the bedroom, cold bathroom. Had to ask for internet access.

- Michelle (1/5): Terrible, do not stay here. - Unfortunately nothing. Everything, the whole experience was awful. The apartment was dirty and mouldy, there was no central heating or hot water. This was reported but not fixed.
- Jano (6/5): Fine. - it is big. it isnt up to the spec I was expecting for a serviced apartment in that area. Competitors at similar prices offer highe quality premises. Was a bit dated and finish lacked attention to detail.
- Rohan (6/5): If the bathroom shower cubicle issue can be resolved, it's a great place to stay. - Location is very good. Living area was ideal for a family group. Shower area in the bathroom is tiny. Size needs to be increased. No soap holder in the shower stall as well. This is mandatory as there no place to keep the soap and shampoo in the shower stall.

- Kate (8/5): Good Whitechapel spot - The location was perfect for us as we did the task master experience in Canada water but we wanted to also be close to spitalfields for the market. It was also very warm. It would be handy if some basics were provided, sugar, tea, coffee. Also hand soap in the bathroom was expected but missing and its not something we travel with as never experienced it not being provided before.
