Guest Reviews

- Nadeem (10/5): - Comfortable. Perfect for people who like to cook and wash clothes during vacation. We would come back 😃 Nothing
- Jimmy (3/5): Dommage - Pas d'eau chaude, porte d'entrée qui ne ferme pas à clé, c'est du camping sous un joli toit.

- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Venkata (6/5): Servers the purpose to stay close to the market place and UCD in particular where I visited. - Convenience of location. The whole apartment smells as if it's hasn't been in used. The mucky smell as soon as you enter the appartment is quite overpowering. There was no shower curtain for the tub. Only one bathroom could be used for bath. The place didn't have coffee or tea bags.
- Kristi (10/5): It was an oasis. Lovely pubs and a Tesco nearby. So much more affordable than Dublin. - Easy location to commute in to Dublin - buses in every direction.
- Sergiy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paolo (6/5): Pleasant - Overall it's a good and comfortable apartment.
It's located in a quiet area not far from a bus station and a shopping mall. It needs a better maintenance and cleaning.
- Francis (10/5): Exceptional - Every thing in the apartments is super ok, make you feel like home. the is up to date everything fantastic, and bathroom also cleane
- Graham (7/5): Decent. - Yes very good location. Spacious flat. Good kitchen fairly well equipped. Clean. Good tv, including Sky. Decent showers. Poor comunication. Having suddenly demanded photo id and date of birth for all 5 of us, they didn't respond on their chatline, leaving me stressed and in limbo. I was about to cancel the day before (and stay with family instead) when we finally got the ok but no-one actually responded to my messages on the chatline.
Although the apartment was clean, there was a low level stale smell which came from the fabric of the living room furniture, which needed recovering or replacing. The sofa bed was large and eay to use but the mattress was a bit grotty with stains and that smell tho my adult son didn't see to mind!
- Susan (9/5): I was pleased overall with my stay. - There was an occasional foul odor which was pretty putrid, could not locate the origin.
- Lindsay (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely neighbor's were so helpful we got lost hard to find I didn't like the location to find it's really hard took us ages had to knock on neighbor's house advice
- Olga (7/5): This could've been so much better. - The location is nice, Tesco, Lidl and other stores nearby, close to the road with a direct bus to the Dublin center. Quiet area, friendly neigbors. Two parks nearby, nice to walk with the children. Also, there was an Internet and a TV, and fully furnished kitchen. Every time you open a water tap, you get a nauseous smell of sewage. And I mean VERY strong stench. One of my kids vomited because of this smell (it literally smells as if they shove the loo up your nose), and each time I had to wash the dishes, I had to get the kids out of the living room (which is connected to the kitchen). In the bathroom, it wasn't as stinky, the smell comes out of the kitchen water tap, which makes the food preparation tricky and unpleasant to say the least.
Also, zero communication with the host. I've tried to reach via phone on the wesbite - it isn't even working. I've tried to contact via email. I've tried to contact via booking.com. Once I got a response from a somewhat distracted person, who didn't even provide his/her name, but who provided poor communication instead. None of my requests were answered. I inquired about the waste bins outside, to learn which were ours (we stayed for 2 weeks and naturally had to get rid of the waste). The person said he/she would "contact the management" and never responded to my follow ups.
Well, we found the bins outside alright (with the help of the neighbors), but they were all over the top in old and stinky rubbish. Obviously, those bins stayed neglected for months.
Then after our check-out an automatic email came asking me to rate the stay. I contacted that person and he/she replied that they might contact "the management" again to inquire after the bins. Really? After we moved out?
In comparison to all above, the not-so-clean state of an apartment (with someone's hair on the sheets and in the bathroom) comes as nothing at all. We've survived worse.
All in all, if you need to stay a couple of nights, this would be a nice place. But for lengthier stays, can't recommend this apartment at all.
