Guest Reviews
- Heidi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Fidan (8/5): Very good -
- Nati (10/5): Great host. Clean apartment. Very useful location. - Host/location
- Salome (9/5): Superb -
- Ashutosh (4/5): Overall it was a good stay. Thank you. - Property is in good location. Service was poor. There was broken fridge with no dishwasher and washing machine as compared to the money.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arnault (4/5): Very noisy, not so clean apartment - The apartment is very well located for our standards. Close by was a great restaurant - La Famiglia - where we had all of our diners. It wast that good.
The mattresses were very comfortable. First big surprise: before we arrived, we were requested to pay cash and the explaination given was poor - like ridiculous. This was not acceptable to us and we alerted booking.com as it was against payment rules indicated on booking. When a lady arrived to handle in the keys, she tried to liaise with the management/owner of the apartment and it took about one hour to manage to do the payment (first via sumup which did not work), then we insisted on making a bank transfer, which was finally accepted. That was very disapointing and we, as well as the lady welcoming us, lost too much time for a simple operation.
The apartment was far from neat. There were piles of dust on top of the warderobes, very dirty lamp in the kitchen.
NOISE was the worst, especially during nights. The windows of both bedrooms are on a very busy street side (traffic lights). Additionally, there are big rubbish containers (6 or more...) directly below the windows, so when the garbage truck came to empty them (everyday it seems), it made hell of a noise. On some days they were emptied when we were trying to fall asleep (around 10:30pm), sometimes early in the morning (6-ish). On top of it, people/tourists living in the house were noisy as well. There is an elevator right in front of the door (badly isolated) to the apartment and the heavy door of the elevator makes lots of noise.
Another point is the water pressure that was so weak, it took ages to rince my and my daughters' hair. It was supposed to be fixed, but it wasn't.
Also, it's nice to get a flat to accomodate 5 or 6 people...but put 5 or 6 towels to dry in the bathroom is just not feasible.
Summing up this flat is 6 sleepings in a very noisy environment.
