• Florian (10/5): Nice little hotel just inside the historical Old Town - Cosy little hotel just inside the historical old town Easy walking distance to all historical sites Narrow alleys and beautiful architecture I had a room with a balcony Free Parking in Old Town with hotel reservation (otherwise access is blocked) Very friendly lady running this place For me it was perfect, also because I am not much of a breakfast eater (choice is rather minimal). A fridge in the room would have been nice, but I didn't really need it

• Guest (10/5): Хотел Пулпудева, гр. Пловдив - Хотелът се намира на много удобна локация, близо до центъра на Пловдив и до Амфитеатъра. Изключително любезен персонал, с индивидуален подход към всеки гост. Посещаваме го за трета поредна година и сме много доволни от чистотата, удобствата и цялостното преживяване. Благодарим и препоръчваме! Би било удобство към стаята да има и чехли за еднократна употреба, особено в по-студените месеци.

• Patrick Wei-Meng (9/5): Hotel worth returning to at edge of old town Plovdiv - Slightly uphill from public parking area behind barrier access (follow instructions on email from host) but can park on street directly in front of hotel for free. Host is very gracious and runs through a map of the city pointing out must-see areas and restaurants. The old town is all within a half hour walk. Room is nice, very comfortable and clean. Had a great snooze. Decent continental breakfast.

• Kim (7/5): Godt ophold med et par bemærkninger. - Værelser var fine og faciliteter på hotellet var ok. Værten meget imødekommende. Parkering lige udenfor hotellet forløb smertefrit på trods af at vi ikke havde booket parkering på forhånd. Beliggenheden i udkanten af den gamle bydel er ideel. Meget enkel og sparsommelig morgenmad. Der manglede juice og ekstra kaffe, kun en kop var inkluderet. Spanden med brugt toiletpapir blev ikke tømt i løbet af de 3 overnatninger vi var der. Opholdsstedet er umuligt at kontakte på telefon.

• Jacques (1/5): Le pire des rapports qualité/prix que nous ayons jamais rencontré!! - Rien La propriétaire de cet établissement gère ce qu'elle appelle un hôtel par téléphone. Réception inexistante : vous récupérez la clé de votre chambre dans une boîte à code pendue à l'extérieur devant la porte d'entrée. Entretien de la chambre : pas de ménage, pas de changement de linge de toilette, pas de redressage de la literie, pas de papier toilette en quantité suffisante. Qualité des équipements : chambre minuscule, lits grinçants au moindre mouvement, télévision non fonctionnelle, douche à l'italienne sans aucune paroi, ce qui implique la transformation de la salle de bain en piscine après chaque douche. Petit déjeuner : mise à disposition d'une assiette pré-composée de mauvaise qualité, sans possibilité d'autre choix, avec des quantités indigentes. Pas de jus de fruit. Une tasse de café de la taille d'un expresso. Si tout cela vous tente, faites-vous plaisir... sinon, fuyez!!!
• Giuseppe (9/5): Ambiente familiare ed una location perfetta - La location é perfetta. Sta appena dentro la ZTL ma la proprietaria facilita l'accesso e non abbiamo avuto problemi di parcheggio. La colazione varia ogni giorno ed é curata personalmente dai proprietari Noi avevamo ció che in Booking si nomina "appartamento deluxe" per 4 persone. Realmente era una stanza con un letto matrimoniale, uno singolo ed un letto aggiunto. Il letto aggiunto era scomodo.

Do tja se pride skozi rampo, ki jo odpre mestni redar, ki sedi v hiški ob rampi (pokažete samo potrditev rezervacije v hotelu) Slabše znanje angleščine s strani lastnice, vendar se da dogovoriti.

• Panek (9/5): - Hervorragende Lage in der Altstadt von Plovdiv, es sind nur wenige Minuten etwa zum Römischen Theater. Dieser Stadtteil ist durch einen Schranken vom öffentlichen Verkehr getrennt, ein Parkplatz vor dem Hotel war stets vorhanden. Die überaus freundliche Besitzerin kümmert sich auch persönlich ums abwechslungsreiche Frühstück (kein Buffet). Eine Empfehlung!

• Nadia Dimitrova (7/5): - Location is great, the building is of the old style renovated traditional houses like in the old town as it is basically steps away from it. It is a beautiful house. Staff was friendly, cash and card payment accepted. Not sure if they speak English as we are Bulgarian.The room was clean and had AC. The bathroom was also very clean and there were enough towels,pillows, sheets, all clean,. The.double bed was comfy. The room ( they call it an apartment but it is ONE room) was quite small for 3 ppl and for that amount of money for 1 night is not worth, pretty cramped. I mean the bathroom was like 1/3 the size of the room, so it felt more spacious in the bathroom.....The spare small sofa was quite hard and not really comfortable for sleeping. If you are a family with 2 kids, i wouldn't recommend it because you will be stepping over each other. This was the last room on the 3rd floor.which they call 'deluxe apartment' but it is one very very small room +bath, not worth the money and definitely not up to its title of 'apartment', or maybe because there was a balcony it makes it an apartment, stll not sure. Breakfast was meh...do not expect continental or eggs or toast or juice. They gave us a coffee or cappuccino, 2 cold and greasy fried traditional pastries and a glass of traditional diluted yogurt drink, oh and water......for that price per night, you would expect a normal breakfast or at least a choice. Maybe it was that much expensive because there was the rock festival that weekend but still that breakfast is a disgrace. Toiletries non existent, tiny packed soaps and tiny packages of shampoo.

• Jill (8/5): Good location - Good location as you can walk to all the sights. Room was clean. Breakfast changed each day. The WiFi worked. The receptionist did not speak much English but was able to communicate important information. Parking is on the street past a barrier. The wet shower meant the bathroom floor was mostly wet. There was a mini fridge but if you plug it in, you can’t charge your phone. More outlets or an extension cord would be helpful. There is no staff overnight. Guests get a key to the room and the front door. In case of emergency, it would be good to be able to open both doors without fumbling with keys.

• Megan (9/5): A small friendly traditional house with a friendly host. - Friendly service, the breakfast plate was set, traditional ham and cheese, olives, bread one day and croissants and jam the next. Tea and coffee offered, plus chilled carafe of water, fruit. Nothing. Anyone with mobility issues needs to mention this as no lift .

• Adina (9/5): Great location, clean room and friendly personnel. - The location is very good, close to everything you might want to visit in the Old Town! The receptionist was very nice and friendly (even though her english was not good) and the room was very clean and lovely, the AC was working great which was vital since there was a heat wave when we visited. Also the bathroom was big even though the room was small, but enough for us. We asked for parking and they reserved us a spot, when you get to enter the street there’s a barrier but they opened it for us since we had a reservation at the hotel. The breakfast was not that great as in you had no choice. The first morning we had 2 pieces of-mekitsa- a type of donut, with a small piece of cheese, a portion of honey and one of jam and ayran. And the next day we had omelette (which was a little undercooked to be fair) with tomatoes, cheese and olives. For picky eaters might not be the best option. For toiletries you get a small soap and 2 packets of shampoo, I was hoping for some shower gel but we were prepared so take that into account.

• Silvia (9/5): Historic Plovdiv at your doorstep - Great location to explore Plovdiv’s Old Town, Kapana and downtown neighbourhoods. Friendly welcome. Small but comfortable room with all amenities, including AC. Simple but sufficient breakfast. Street parking is provided: as a guest of the hotel, you are allowed onto the “gated” streets of the Old Town. Traditional house without lift, so be aware if you have big baggage and are staying on one of the upper floors.

We also loved the hotel itself, the decor is very classy, old style but new. Petya was so friendly and helpful, she gave us lots of great information. We hope to return.

Breakfast was acceptable but not remarkable. Not enough cooked food, but price was ok. The staff member who showed us to our rooms was helpful and friendly. There was no socket within easy reach for either the kettle or the hair dryer, though both were provided.
