- Kim (9/5): Nice residential neighborhood near restaurants and ocean front area. - Location was great - the house is in a residential area but within 5-min drive of restaurants, 35 min drive to Vancouver airport, and also close to the Horseshoe Bay Ferry. I was confused by the instructions for finding the lock box and door to the apartment. However, I knocked on the main door to the house and the owner kindly helped me out.
- Jean (8/5): Very good - We were a group of 4 ladies, each had our own room. The place was very clean. The location for sightseeing was very good, particularly as we were going to Capilano Bridge Park, Sea to Sky gondola, Shannon Falls. Stanley Park.
Near to a good selection of grocery stores & Restaurants. When we contacted Sara she responded very quickly to our requests.
- Mikhail (10/5): Comfortable spacious living in a great location. - Best value you can get for the price, much better than a hotel, especially for bigger family with kids. The home looks like newly renovated with quality materials, and nicely decorated, has everything needed for comfort living. A lot of space for everyone inside + nice backyard. Big kitchen, easy to cook if you need that. Check-in was super easy, just drive from the small back street and park in front of white garage. Very short drive to downtown, not far from beach with playground. Just couple of items to mention which were very minor inconvenience for us, but might be useful for others.
1. Owner occupies the upper floor. Looks like a recent legislation in Vancouver, so you unlikely to find the whole house anyways. We didn't experience any inconvenience. I found it much more comfortable to live in the lower floor (we also lived in upper floor before in another property earlier).
2. I wasn't able to figure out how to set warmer temperature. It wasn't too cold, but would be better if provided electric heater.
- Suin (10/5): I highly recommend this accommodation to other guests!! - When we first entered the house, we were greeted with wine and chocolates. Thanks to the host’s kindness and thoughtfulness, we were able to enjoy a lovely evening.
The house was very clean, and most of the tools and supplies were well-prepared, making our stay comfortable. We initially had some trouble communicating with the host, but they came in person and provided a lot of assistance.
After that, we had a comfortable stay, and if we visit Vancouver again, we would love to book this place once more! The description of the accommodation on Booking.com felt a bit lacking to me. However, thanks to the host's visit and prompt communication, there was hardly any inconvenience after we arrived. :)
