• Stephen (8/5): - The host Edwardo was extremely welcoming. The location was perfect for hiking in the Andes. We were sometimes cold but we would go back again as the positives greatly weighed any negatives.

• Natcha (9/5): Lovely stay - Great little place in Banos Morales. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was homemade, fresh food. And the breakfast was exceptional! The room was nice and cozy, the bathroom also was kept clean. This place has a great location, if you want to go to hotspring, lake, or el monument hike. Very impressed!

• Carolyn (7/5): For the price, it was fine. I stay again now knowing the limitations, but I hadn't know them prior to booking. Likel - The owner/manager was very friendly. The town of Banos Morales was close to the thermal baths which we wanted to see. 200m walk down steep dirt path with luggage. No parking on site but rather on a lot at the top of a hill. Bathroom and showers were a bit rustic...

Eduardo was going to Santiago for his weekly shopping and kindly gave me a ride back.Thank you !!! Would like to have the bathroom in the room, but I knew in advance that the bathroom is shared.

• Shawn (8/5): Highly recommended for exploring this part of the amazing Andes. Best if you have your own vehicle. - Great little hostel in a fabulous location. Lovely host who cooked us solid breakfasts (included) and dinners (at a very reasonable price). A great base for exploring the Cajon del Maipo and side valleys, each of which opens up amazing vistas at every turn. As noted by others, the place runs on solar power and the only plugs (eg. for charging devices) are in the common area. No problem for us as it wasn't busy. The facilities are basic, but perfectly fine.

• Martin (10/5): Awesome location - Amazing location right at the entrance of the national park. Great view over the mountains. Eduardo is an awesome host. Breakfast was excellent. Bathrooms are basic, but clean.

They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and they were very accommodating when we needed to use the kitchen or needed breakfast a little early. We decided to stay an extra night since we enjoyed our stay so much.

• David (8/5): Very good - This is a very simple lodge to use as the starting point for the crazy hikes in the vicinity, such as Marmolejo 6100m. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good, and the room simple but clean. This place runs on solar panels, so don't bring hair dryers and such. Good value for money.
• Salima (8/5): Fantastic service and location - Eduardo was simply the best host. He did everything to make sure we were comfortable, and were able to meet the schedules we had planned for activities. The common area was spacious. The breakfast was to order, and very hearty. We appreciated the heating in the rooms, and the proximity to various places of interest like CONAF national park, El Yeso, Termas Colinas and more. We were able to park outside nearby. I honestly was happy that we stayed here. The facilities are very basic. There isn't a lot of places where you can charge your phone, and it's in the common area. We were not worried about safety but more that we were taking the only charging spot available for the whole building. The room is actually really tiny, if you have luggage from a longer trip, it may be hard to have space. Note that it's a bit of a walk on a dirt path to get there, so you may want to carry your luggage.
• Charlotte (10/5): Perfect hiking stay - We really liked this place, a great mountain hut to rest in after a day of hiking. The owner, Eduardo, is a lovely man, and made a great breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend staying here.
• Katarzyna (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - - Eduardo and his wife are AMAZING hosts- they are super friendly, nice, talkative and helpful - we got help and advice for anything we needed - the place has its charm, it’s rustic, calm and quiet - it has perfect location to go to thermal baths (just around the corner) and hikes- no commuting is needed - breakfast is just amazing - freshly fried eggs, with bread and marmalade- not even mentioning the coffee that turned out to be my favourite over the whole trip to Chile :)

• Josée (9/5): Great little hosteria at the end of the Maipo Valley - Great place to enjoy the Valley in a rustic and unique mountain setting. Hiking trail to the glacier right by the hosteria. Eduardo is always available to give information and he cooks great meals.

• Maxime (8/5): Andine mountain hut vibes and lovely crew - I came off season so the Hosteria was almost empty but it is open all year long. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A solid breakfast is included with the reservation and you will get all the necessary advice to get out on the nearby trails. A very nice spot in this remote village with a lovely mountain hut vibe ! The place may be cold for some but it did not bother me as the rooms have good blankets and you can add a heater in there.
• Abbey (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with the nicest hosts! We forgot to get cash for park entrance fees and they gave us some. They went out of their way to ensure we had a nice time. The rooms are nice and the shared bathroom is kept very clean. The water was more warm then hot, but overall the stay was amazing!

• Nick (10/5): Great location with breakfast and friendly owners. - Friendly host, amazing location deep in the canyon on walking distance from hikes. Nice breakfast. Older place but worth the money considering most places in the area are a lot more expensive then here. Showers were older, beds were a little bit harder but not such a big deal.
