• sergio (9/5): Muy bueno - La ubicacion es excelente, la hab era muy cómoda, espaciosa , y las instalaciones siempre impecables, tiene una pequeña piscina para disfrutar- La recepción esta de 9hs a 18hs aprox, tal vez sea un poco acotada por si necesitas algo fuera de ese horario ( me paso de querer salir y no tenía el código de salida, que igual lo solucione)..el resto es un 10-
• Rolinda (7/5): Prima, maar het personeel is duidelijk understaffed en er is sprake van achterstallig onderhoud! - De locatie en het personeel Er wordt niet standaard schoon gemaakt, daar moet je om vragen. Dit vind ik niet handig, zeker niet op een plek waar je je toilet papier niet in de wc mag gooien maar in een prullenbak.
• S. (9/5): Heerlijk verblijf in hotel Bario gehad! - Artistiek, authentiek en eco vriendelijk hotel. Persoonlijke en hartelijke service & dichtbij gelegen bij restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Als alleenstaande reiziger vond ik dat erg fijn. Extra service is dat je vanuit hotel badhanddoeken/zwemhanddoeken kunt krijgen om te gebruiken bij het zwembad en strand. Daarnaast is bij de bar een tap met gekoeld water beschikbaar. Het buiten gedeelte wordt goed onderhouden. Het restaurant van het hotel was nog niet geopend maar in de buurt van het hotel heerlijk ontbeten bij Maira's Kitchen. Het huren van een auto is aan te raden om meer van het eiland te ontdekken en de mooie stranden te bezoeken. Voor herhaling vatbaar! De hotelkamer iets vaker schoongemaken en de prullenbak bij het toilet legen, had ik prettig gevonden. Naast mijn kamer waren bouwwerkzaamheden met veel opwaaiend stof wat helaas de kamer inkwam. De bouwwerkzaamheden zijn door het hotel natuurlijk niet te voorkomen. Iets meer aandacht voor de schoonmaak helpt dan wel.

• Patrick (8/5): Leuke locatie met alles op loopafstand - Aardige host, was wel alleen dus als ze met iemand anders bezig zijn moet je even wachten. De accommodate is leuk opgezet en de kamer is van alle gemakken voorzien. De ligging was heel dicht bij het centrum dus alles is op loopafstand maar desondanks relatief rustig gelegen. Een aantal dingen in de kamer waren niet meer werkend, de douchestang was afgebroken, het deurtje van het vriesvak was er niet meer en de koelkast dat aangesloten met een soort transformator blok wat op de magnetron lag. Opzich allemaal geen ramp maar verwacht geen volledig foutloos interieur.
• Gisselle (5/5): Falta personal para aseo y atención - La atención de la gerente y la ubicación del hotel Nos dieron una habitación que no correspondía a lo que rentamos, nos dieron una mucho mas básica, sin sofá ni sala, pedimos cambio y nos cambiaron a la noche siguiente pero no nos dieron ningún reembolso. A excepción de la gerente, las empleadas no son amables. En booking dice que hay restaurante y bar, pero nunca estuvo abierto, nunca hubo comidas ni cócteles, hay un letrero que dice que es de 7.30am a 11am, en WhatsApp dice que trabajan desde las 9am, pero pedimos un coctel como a las 5pm y dijeron que no había servicio de restaurante ni bar, de hecho casi nunca hay nadie en recepción. Nos pasó que la última noche hubo fiesta al lado con música muy fuerte hasta las 5am y no pudimos dormir porque el hotel no está insonorizado. No hay servicio de aseo en la habitación (cambio de toallas, sábanas o recigida de basura) a menos que se solicite, y se debe pagar un adicional para lavar el baño y cambiar sábanas.

Manager was accommodating to our needs Beds were firm (some of them too firm for me )but that’s a preference thing .

Cool to have seperate rooms but within one apartment. Lovely swimming pool and artsy vibe around the restaurant and hangout spots. Cleanliness was acceptabel but not amazing, I feel like they could have cleaned more often (only once during a week, and didnt change bath towel for example). Partially because it is an old building. Toilet kept getting clogged (and toiletpaper had to thrown in a bin that did not have a footpedal, whoch meant you had to touch it with you hands). At night is could be a little noisy.

• Ross (8/5): Perfectly matches the town's vibe - bright, cheerful, and lively, - The hotel is well-located to reach all the main sites of Williamstrad, and through its promotion, sits within a colourful neighbourhood of painted properties and well-constructed street art. The hotel exactly matches the vibes of the town - bright, cheerful, lively and yet remains an ideal place for couples to stay. The attached street court offers an easy restaurant option and features live music on select nights. Although some of the facilities need a refurbishment, the staff were universally friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay as a 60-year-old blind independent traveller. Some furnishings need updating, and I found the bed too hard for my comfort

• Mariana (9/5): Beatiful and cozy hotel - Lovely and colorful boutique hotel with spacious and comfortable rooms. It has a nice outside area to enjoy with shade and a pool and lots of art. We really liked the location very near by the Hullanda Village (highly recommended) and the Koningin Emmabrug. The personnel was very friendly and super helpful. We only had breakfast at the restaurant which was very good, but it also offered lunch and dinner. Otrobanda is a very nice area with a lot of street art (just around the corner of the hotel). Nothing.

Boutique hotel with large rooms and bathroom! Outside garden with swimming pool and lovely people working for Hotel Bario. The hotel organised a BBQ evening with music and delicious food and salsa lessons. Free big parking space and good beds. Feels like coming home! We will come back for sure! Nothing!

Rooms need to be renovated. Problem with electricity. We had no air, tv, frig on our last night. Unable to contact anyone because there is no security or staff that stay on property.

We were accommodated in two separate rooms for the first night of our four-day stay. On the third night there was water dripping from the apartment above. Despite the hiccups we enjoyed our stay. Akeisha and Sanchez were helpful in making our stay a comfortable one. We were afforded a breakfast on the house on the second day.

The food and drinks were also great. We booked a room with 2 single beds but they gave us a double and we could not change. Thye tried to remedy the situation by adding a bed but it didnt work out as it was quite small.

The apartment was just delightful, the kitchen equipped with everything you need, even coffee for the machine. And if you don’t feel like preparing your own food the restaurant and the staff will take care of you. Everyone is very nice and eager to make you feel at home. If you don’t feel like going to the beach the pool is refreshing and nice for a swim. Will come back for sure, highly recommended!

There was different kinds of breakfast so it was nice! The breakfast started very late! Because of the work I must get the breakfast earlier but it was impossible!

Had to leave earlier unexpectedly and they we're really nice in helping with finding a good solution for the remaining booked nights. They also arranged a rental car for a very goof price. Location of the hotel is excellent. It's one of the spots were locals also come for a drink.

Everything was absolutely superb! My advise would be: 1) don’t skip your breakfast at the hotel because it incredible ( those avocado and salmon toasts were amazing!!) 2) They have a lovely street food restaurant on site with so many great options - try it out! 3) Don’t miss the walk through artsy Otrobanda with Kurt (co-owner) every Thursday - such a great and fun way to learn the neighbourhood’s story!!

• Leela (8/5): Centrally located - The location. Close to the major bus stations, 7 minutes walk to Otrabanda station and 20 minutes to Punda station. Did not rent a car due to solo traveller. Alot of historical sites close by. Unfortunately, the band only played 1 night at the hotel. Mostly DJ. Also if you like quiet, it may not be for you. I knew before hand so it was fine and music ended at 11 pm. However there was, unfortunately a man who was mentally challenged who did yell out during the night. It's not the the hotel fault he lives next door but I was awaken a few times by him.

• Jesharelah (10/5): Wonderful stay - First word that comes to mind is: wow! We were very very happy with our stay at this hotel. Fist of all, the staff were very responsive. They even provided us an earlier check in, because we wanted to use the hotel for a photoshoot. We told the staff that it was our wedding anniversary and they even upgraded our room for free! I must say, that the staff is very friendly and helpful and when we arrived, they brought us to our room, showed us around and everything. We will definitely recommend this hotel! This hotel provides you with a very ‘homey’ and relaxed feeling. The location of the hotel is also a plus point for sure! Keep it up! Happy guests 😁
• Ursula (10/5): New Years Eve getaway - Almost everything. We missed a duvet, the bed had only blanket and will get very cold with the airconditioning On at night.

• Alina (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the room, location and the staff. The restaurant on the property. If you choose to stay here eat elsewhere because they don't prioritize the guests who are actually staying at the hotel. Slow service even if the restaurant has no customers.

• Aileen (7/5): Good - Location and people. Good food, music and evening out ambience. Noisy location and evening party atmoshere not condusive to earlier sleep time or later morning wake up. Pool size small.
• Jane (10/5): It was like a fantasy — magical! - It was very charming, spacious and beautifully decorated. Nothing … loved everything about it.

• Grace (9/5): Superb - Very quaint hotel. Reminds me of a European pensione. 5 minute walk to the center of town. Very clean. Nice little pool. Lots of little nooks where you can sit. The music from the bar is a tad loud, but shuts down around 10pm.

Nice entertainment at night. my room was not to the expectations I saw online. bed was hard and no duvett to cover with the cold of the airconditioner. At night it was difficult to relax because of some gentleman continuously screaming right outside my bedroom window. I woukd stay here again because of the location and staff but maybe another room.

• Glenice (9/5): Beautiful Hotel with a wonderful ambiance! - Beautiful, colorful & well mantained place with a wonderful & relaxing ambiance. The apptm. was nicely put together & had everything one could need. The pool area was cozy, the staff was friendly & helpfull. The live music on the weekend evenings made it even greater. The surroundings were covered in beautiful art and the hotel is centrally located. Had a gr8 stay! I surely would like to come back :) Being a renovated historic (well mantained) building, the rooms are not soundproof. Staying on the groundfloor apptm, you could hear the above guests & kid(s) walking & running
