- KhaledQudaih (4/5): - Not bad I wanted to extend my stay, but when i told them about that they increased the price and i didn't like that,
It's so noisy
- Naveen Kumar (10/5): - Superb No complaints
- Khandaker (10/5): - Staff behaviour is nice Nothing

- Jarred (8/5): - The location was great, the room was large enough with a decent amount of space for two people, and the breakfast was filling. Great value for money overall. The facilities were just ok. The kitchen was definitely in need of a deep clean. We ate out most of our time in Cairo, but I would not have felt confident using the kitchen if we'd needed to.

- david (9/5): - You are staying on taalat harb, right in the centre of bustling cairo, the location couldn't be better.staff are really friendly and helpful and great at suggesting local things to do. You feel like you're experiencing Cairo more as a local than a tourist!
- Parul Shah (3/5): - Room size was decent. Centrally located. Restaurants, shops and museums are nearby. Breakfast was never provided even though it was included in the booking - they say it is served at 9:30am which is very late as people need to leave the hotel at 8:30am atleast to cover the attractions. They don't even stock up the kitchen for guests to take the food if they need to leave before 9:30am. Kitchen area is very dirty. Bathroom is very small.

- sunnyyyoung (5/5): -
- Miriam (10/5): - In the heart of Downtown. Close to many landmarks and services. Price is good, WiFi was good, staff was incredibly helpful and kind (even helped me do my Arabic course homework!), the breakfast is sufficient. You can't hear much of the Downtown noise because it's in a higher floor. Nothing.

- Miriam (10/5): Quiet, clean, respectful, good wifi, and better breakfast: go to Minerva! - Minerva hostel is on a 7th floor, which means that during the night you can barely hear the noise of the traffic outside, which is great and guarantees a good sleep even with the window open. The curtains on the bunkbeds provide a bit of privacy and the space in the room has been cleverly design for people to be able to move and store their things without them being disorganised. The bathroom works well, they put toilet paper, shampoo, and gel every day for use, they clean every day the whole place so it always looks nice. The kitchen has everything one needs including a kettle, and a woman prepares breakfast every morning, which includes falafel and foul. The location is perfect, close to the entire Downtown and Tahrir Square and the Nile, as well as other landmarks. The receptionist were really kind and helpul, one of them helped me with my Arabic homework, which was very needed. Oh, and the wifi is strong (I had lessons and meetings when I was there). Nothing, all great, I totally recomment.

- Gideon (8/5): - A basic hostel with a pleasant, easy going vibe, a decent breakfast and convenient for the metro. Bang in the heart of the city. I arrived and got the one dorm bed without a curtain, light and PowerPoint but the bed itself was comfy. One other guest woke the entire room up by strolling in, in the middle of the night, turned the light on and shouting.

- Katrin (10/5): Great value for money - I stayed in a private room. It's nice, large and clean. Everything works well. The hotel is ideally located and within walking distance to Tahrir Square as well as many shops. Great value for money.
- Onur (10/5): It was great! - We stayed at this hotel and were warmly welcomed from the very first moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. We truly enjoyed our stay, had delicious meals, and were treated to various offerings. We left with the intention of coming back again someday!
- Lahcen (9/5): Superb - Staff and room Outside the hostel the loud sound of the elevator.
- David (8/5): Very good - Lovely, friendly and helpful staff.cairo can be a busy, daunting, confusing city but their knowledge helps you find good cafes and restaurants.thank you!
It's in a good location as well, just off one of the busiest shopping streets right in the centre.
- Alladin (1/5): Bad - Nothing to like if staffs are not good and always trying to scam. I booked my room and arrived at the time slot given exactly on the booking.com app and they said they don't have any room available. On further argument they asked for extra charges for giving us room since it was peak time and they had many people reaching out. They were taking advantage of the situation and scamming people like that
- Xiao (6/5): Pleasant - the location is good, price is cheap. the cleaness and staff is a bit negative unwelcomed
- Shah (7/5): A good stay with value for money!! - I really liked the support staff. I landed in Cairo and just checked into this hotel. Krim had my room changed after discussing with the management as the AC did not work. I was provided good support by Abdoz in booking GoBus ticket for Alexandria as my debit card did not work. These guys gave good tourism related information on Egypt. Thank you, guys!! This hotel is walking distance away from the GoBus station (15 mins). I had no issues. The support staff was always there to help out with every administrative need. The were willing to help!!
- Gabriel (10/5): Excellent budget accommodation in Cairo centre with friendly staff - The location was great, in the busy centre of Cairo. There is an old elevator that takes you up to the 6th floor so you don't have to worry about climbing the stairs. The staff are super friendly and helpful here and they allowed us to leave our bags when we arrived early and left late - thanks so much. The AC worked well and the breakfast was tasty. The bathroom was small with a shower that was almost exactly above the toilet seat but that's common in these types of countries I guess. The breakfast took a while to receive (45 mins to an hour), but it was worth the wait. Although we had to eat it in our room and there were no tables so we ate on our beds.
- Roberto (10/5): The rooms are really good, the breakfast is amazing and the service from Karym is great! -
- القريني (8/5): Very good -
- Alexander (8/5): Very good - great location in the center of Cairo. The Egyptian museum is in walking distance, everything else can be reached in a short time by car
The staff was great and very hospitable
The room was spacious, a bit old but totally fine for us the house in which the hotel is located is quite run down and the elevator and staircase to reach the hotel are both in not so great condition
Due to the location it can be loud from the outside, so if you're a light sleeper, better bring earplugs
- Harpreet (2/5): Very poor - The staff is good and support full but the cleanness in khicken so bad
There is so slow water in shower
And the breakfast one egg one salad Daily same repate
I never go there in my next trip in Egypt cairo cleanness in khicken so bad
There is so slow water in shower
And the breakfast one egg one salad Daily same repate
I never go there in my next trip in Egypt cairo
- Ahmed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rasha (8/5): Very good - The staff were super friendly and we felt safe there.
The bathroom in the room was a big plus.
The breakfast was very delicious and homemade :) A typical Egyptian breakfast. Make sure to book your room with the breakfast included.
The room had a mini fridge too. Music coming from the reception could be a bit lower in the morning.
A stricter policy against smoking is needed.
- Hanim (7/5): This hotel have a nice and strategic location - Location Lift
- Mikael (10/5): An excellent budget stay with good breakfast - I can really recommend Minerva Grand Boutique!!! - An excellent breakfast a very pleasant personal that was helpfull, talkative and very friendly and nice. A very nice room with nice bed and a well working shower with hot water. The location of the Hotel was perfekt, close to the Metro and a lot of attractions in walking distance. Everything was good - nothing to complain about!
- Asri5641 (7/5): Good -
- Albina (5/5): Very basic, avoid if you can, but location is nice - The location It’s very old and funny smell
- Serkan (9/5): Central location, perfect breakfast, great staff but high taxes. - perfect breakfast ! I paid a 25% more than it was stated at the booking page, due to taxes didn't happen at other places I have stayed so far in other cities of Egypt.
- Imran (1/5): Bad -
- Abdulaziz (1/5): Bad - Nothing Not like in the pictures , it’s worst room I have ever seen
- Cheng (8/5): Very good - Very good location, 3 mins walk to metro station. It’s located in 6th floor of a building. Staffs are kind and a madam who made breakfast is also kind. It’s tasty meal.

- Badrulzzaman (7/5): Good -
- Evan (7/5): Good -
- Alec (9/5): Cairo - The staff were great and friendly and offered us lots of help getting to the hotel which was much needed, and the breakfast was really tasty. Nice and central and very good value for money. They also offer tours at a fair price! It was a bit dirty in places!
- Zsuzsanna (7/5): The apartments are in the middle of the dowtown hustle, higly recommended for ppl who’d like to stay in the most busy ne -
- Gabor (8/5): Budget friendly yet comfortable accomodation at a great location with very helpful staff. - The stuff was very helpful and nice.
- Mohamed (3/5): Old building with old stairs and elevator - Excellent location Linen, towels and pillows Cleaning level was really bad
- S (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is in central Cairo with lots of food places around it. The host Abdooz, helped me in every possible way. He took us out for shopping in a very crowded market from which I found some really good deals. For the price that I paid, the experience I received was exceptional. The hosts are amazing and a bonus is that the hotel is in a vintage building with a cool elevator that I liked the most.
- Hayman (6/5): Pleasant -
- Hani (3/5): Poor -
- Radwan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Carlos (10/5): Awesome - Facilities and helpful staff No room for breakfast
- Jamil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amro (8/5): Very good -
- Rylee (6/5): Great for short stays. Amazing staff - This room was good for the one night there but wouldn't stay much longer. The staff were really helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and the rooms were good size.
Location was right in the middle of the shopping centre which would be perfect if that's what you were after. Both the rooms and bathrooms could do with a refresh. Unfortunately the sheets had small blood stains which was really off-putting. New bedding or more careful cleaning would make a world of difference. The building was pretty sketchy as every level except the one we were on was either abandoned or unkept. This was not reflected in the hotel though which was appreciated.
- Essam (8/5): Perfect for a short stay, if you just want a place to sleep and take a shower. location is AMAZING! - 1- The location is amazing in the downtown.
2- The staff is super friendly and helpful.
3- The room and the bathroom were clean but the bed sheets looked old and yellowish. 1- I could not make an early check-in although I wrote that I was arriving at 9 AM during my booking.
2- The Wi-Fi does not reach some rooms.
- Javier (10/5): Exceptional - They are amazing guys. They helped us a lot. Even they give a breakfast qhen we were totally hang over.
- Junki (10/5): Exceptional - location, price, clean room, friendly staff, breakfast nothing special
- Reham (2/5): Very poor - The left is risky and the bed sheet was not clean
- Elgohary (4/5): Disappointing -
- Khaled (5/5): Average stay but excellent location - I meet kareem one of the stuff and he was helpful, respectful, honest. Bathroom was clean. The condition, old sheets, the bathroom have no roof 😂.
- منةالله (8/5): Very good -
- Iuliia (10/5): Exceptional - Quite and clean Nothing
- Ahmad (6/5): Pleasant -
- Azza (8/5): Very good -
- Zichong (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel, cheap, clean, centrally located. Each room has a refrigerator and air conditioning. The hotel's front desk, Karim, is a polite and friendly person who could meet any of our needs.
- Faris.alhalah (4/5): Disappointing -
- Mario (9/5): Superb -
- Majid (8/5): Very good -
- Rahaf97 (9/5): Superb - I had a fantastic experience at the hotel, thanks to the amazing staff who were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Fady Habib, in particular, went above and beyond to assist me every night with planning my next day's activities, and he always did so with a cheerful attitude. The location of the hotel was ideal, right in the heart of downtown and close to everything I needed. The elevator had a charming old-school feel to it, which added to the overall authenticity of the place.
Although my overall experience was excellent, I believe there is room for improvement in the cleanliness of the bed sheets. With a bit more attention to detail in this area, the hotel could enhance its already great offerings
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good -
- Kh (10/5): Exceptional - fantastic cozy
- Abuobieda (7/5): Good -
- Amine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amine (10/5): Good value, helpful staff - I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Cairo! The location on Talaat Harb Street was perfect, with easy access to everything. The atmosphere was vibrant, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I want to give a special mention to Mr. Sobhi, the receptionist, who was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. He provided excellent recommendations and enthusiastically assisted us. I highly recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Cairo. A big thank you to the entire team for this memorable experience! Nothing
- Polina (9/5): perfect to rest before flight - it’s super good for a short stay
not loud, although in the center of the city
internet was stable
metro station is in a minute
grandiose interior of an old building the bathroom is horrible))) but it’s still possible to take a shower. taking it into account as a reason for the low price — the rest is okay!
- Atef (5/5): Passable -
- Ine (9/5): Cairo centre - Everything and staff was exceptional. Very helpfull and good English. Perfectly located in the centre. Shower/toilet were a bit small.
- Abanob (10/5): i liked the stay - cleaning 🧼 there isn’t microwave
- Ko (9/5): One of the best choices in Downtown Cairo - The most notable features are the friendliness of the staff and the spaciousness and comfort of the rooms. The staff reminds us that hotels are in the hospitality industry.
Thank you Kareem. I must mention the procedure for finding the hotel and the fact that the air conditioning is not working. The hotel entrance is not easy to find, therefore, photos will be added. Regarding the air conditioning problem, travelers are advised to avoid the extremely warm and cold months.
- Harb (1/5): Bad -
- Matic (10/5): Great value for the money, highly recommend! - Everything was great for the price; the receptionists were awesome, especially Soph (we talked about a lot of cool stuff with him and he gave us great tips on where to eat and what to visit), the beds were comfortable, the AC was good. The room didn't come with the mosquito repellent included since there were some mosquitoes
