• Zehra (9/5): - I stayed at Alfar House for one week and felt very comfortable and safe. The location is excellent, very close to the city center, flat and easy to reach, with a market nearby. As a solo female traveler, safety was my top priority, and Alfar House felt calm, secure, and respectful from day one. The owner is a woman and very thoughtful. It feels more like a cozy home than a hostel. No bunk beds, only normal beds, and everything is very clean. Washing clothes costs 5 KM, which is fair, though the dryer is a bit expensive at 15 KM. A moka pot or espresso machine would be a nice addition. Clean, safe, cozy, and perfectly located. Highly recommended, especially for solo female travelers.

• Guest (10/5): 完美！Perfect！！！ - 我宣布这是我出门旅行以来住过的最好最温暖的青旅（真心话，无夸张成分），首先地理位置极好，从萨拉热窝机场或是大巴站坐103路电车到终点站下车再步行200米就到，不需要爬坡。青旅距离市政厅、拉丁桥都很近，都是下楼步行5分钟就到，去缆车站只需要步行150米！其次床位是单张独立的床，不是上下铺，公共区域和每个房间里都有暖气，很温暖，每张床的床头都有贴心配备插座和小夜灯，公共区域的客厅、厨房等都很干净，可以自己做饭，冰箱微波炉都有。浴室面积很大很干净，热水器又大又热。房东姐姐人超好又温柔，还可以找她波黑买电话卡喔！我一开始只订了一天，最终住了4天，在这认识了很多很好的小伙伴，离开的时候非常不舍！！！！！下次旅行如果还路过巴尔干半岛，我一定会回来！怒打100分💯 没有需要改进的地方，一切都很完美！祝老板生意兴隆！！！

• Wei Yi (10/5): Great stay at Alfar House! - Excellent location that is walking distance from the old town. It is quiet at night and safe for a solo female traveller. There is a grocery store nearby too. Nico, the owner, was very responsive and helpful with my queries. Her hostel is kept very clean and tidy. We can use the kitchen freely and it is well-equipped. There is a living room with a huge couch to chill and mingle with the other people staying there. It is not a social hostel but I managed to meet amazing people turned friends during my 4 night stay there! The beds are clean and comfortable, and you could use the washing machine at a small fee too. Highly recommend the stay at Alfar House!! Nothing at all! Everything is great!

• Guest (8/5): - Good place and nice location, extremely close to the old city center (around 5 min by walk) but far enough to avoid the chaos and noises. The hostel was spacious and always very clean. Beds were large and comfortable with all the supplies needed available (like for example hair dryer). The common area is great, clean, spacious, well maintained and extremely replenished I would work a bit more on the toilet, for example providing more shelves in general and especially in the shower where to place shampoo and cleaning stuff (there were none) and also a couple more hangers wouldn't be bad for clothes. Also something could be done for the toilet smell because if I'm answering the call of nature the smell is directly translated into the room, creating a hostile environment. I had to buy a perfume to partially avoid that but maybe something can be done by the host, since the toilet has no windows.  Regarding the social interaction I want to say just a couple of words, there were lots of travelers from China which is actually great, but honestly the host seemed to care only to them, since they share the same origin. Let me say that talking and interacting only to them was not the best treatment to offer and I think it's a bit sad. I can understand most of them do not speak English but that's not an excuse to treat all the other non-chinese people like they're part of a minor species. I would also work slightly on this.

• yuka (7/5): 宿泊するにはすごく快適 - 13時にチェックインできるのはありがたい。3人部屋でベッドは快適。ベッドサイドに棚があって普段使う物が取りやすい。貴重品はロッカーがあって管理できる。キッチンもきれいでアイテムがそろっている。スーツケースが重く部屋まで持って上がれなかったのでリビングに置かせてもらった。トラムの駅から近い。ルームメートがいい人たちだった。 建物に看板がないためどこか分からず、近所を歩いてる人に尋ねて一緒に探してもらった。他の宿泊者の使い方によってシャワー/トイレの床がすごく濡れる。レビューにオーナーさんの高評価コメントがあったが、聞いたことの返事をくれるぐらいで可もなく不可もなくって感じだった。

Perfect location—close to the grocery store, city center, old town, river, and tram stop. The staff was very helpful, and the bathroom has a bidet. I will definitely return if I visit Sarajevo again!

• Lidiworld (9/5): Excelente ubicación y calidad-precio - Excelente ubicación a apenas 5 minutos a pie del ayuntamiento de Sarajevo y Stari Grad (Ciudad vieja) con casi todos los monumentos, restauración y área comercial de souvenirs. El personal es muy amable y dispuestas a ayudar. Hay un aseo y al menos dos baños completos a compartir y detalles muy prácticos como varios tendederos y luces automáticas por si te levantas cuando ya es oscuro (de noche o antes del amanecer). Puedes dejar el equipaje en el salón después del check out y usar nevera / cocina. El colchón de la cama me resultó demasiado duro. A remarcar que hay que subir escaleras para acceder al comedor/cocina (primer piso) y a algunas habitaciones (segundo piso). En mi caso sin problema pero creo que puede ser incómodo para personas que vengan con maleta grande o mucho peso.

• Valentina (8/5): Nel complesso una buona esperienza :) - La titolare è molto gentile e disponibile. La stanza e i bagni sono puliti. La posizione è molto centrale, ma non rumorosa, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro storico. Il bagno al secondo piano è un po' scomodo, per via del tetto spiovente, così come la camera (ho battuto la testa due o tre volte). La sera in camera senza aria condizionata fa un po' caldo, nonostante ci sia il ventilatore, però verso mattina diventa più fresco.

• Qaszuluxum (10/5): Truly thankful to have found this hostel - This was a very comfortable, relaxed and enjoyable stay with Nico, she is attentive and friendly, the whole place is always clean, there’s everything you need for cooking, working or just hanging out with other guests. All the best parts of the city are within a walking distance, museums, palaces, the bridges, everything is super close. I am glad to have found such a nice place to stay, I made great friends and I will definitely be back to explore Sarajevo in the winter. No complaints, everything was great.

• Екатерина (10/5): All in all, it was a perfect stay, I highly recommend it! - It’s very clean and cozy, located just 7-10 minutes from the old town which makes it an amazing location! Also, the people there were really nice! I sunburnt a little and the owner was really kind to offer me an aloe cream to soothe the pain 😅 since the shops there don’t work on Sunday. It is alright, but may be a little inconvenient for someone that there is only one shower and another one is a bath.

• Yang (8/5): Recommended! - Exceptional location and really home-y atmosphere (even homemaking meals for 10KM!). Our host Nico was very supportive when I first arrived on June 26 in the early morning, with WiFi and cash withdrawal and everything. Personally I’d prefer some curtains to separate the beds, but my roommates during my stay were all total sweat hearts. The laundry costs a bit much (10KM washing plus 15KM dryer) but handwashing is perfectly ok for me during summer anyways.

The room was clean and cozy, and check-in was smooth. The hosts were friendly and responsive. It’s a quiet place despite being so close to the city center. Highly recommended for travelers who want to stay near the Old Town but still enjoy peace and comfort.

• Fenglin (10/5): - 位置：距离老城景区大概200米左右很安静的区域，距离公交车站很近，去黄堡也很近，去看日落回来很方便。周围有小超市，大超市需要步行10分钟左右。 我住女生4人间，都是单人床，干净卫生，女生有独立的卫生间以及洗澡间，两层楼有三个卫生间，很方便，也很干净卫生。有带锁的小柜放贵重东西。每个床都有床头小柜，插头以及床头灯。青旅出入有密码锁，进出玄关换鞋很方便； 厨房和客厅很大，各种设施齐全，还有电饭煲，可以放心大胆的做中餐吃；有阳台可以晾晒衣服。 房主热情，有问必答，有求必应。回复booking信息很快，还能微信联系，能中文交流。预定后就给了WIFI密码，非常方便，在没有电话卡的情况下，到了青旅，直接可以连上wifi联系房主。 2楼女生间的WiFi信号会有些弱，容易掉线。
