Guest Reviews
- Hadar (5/5): The owners are lovely, but our room was mouldy and damp which is extremely unhealthy - The hotel owner was lovely, greeted us when we arrived and helped us to order food, which was very kind of her. The place itself looks lovely and the shared kitchen is a great bonus. Also, the owners were kind enough to wake up early and open the main gate for us as we needed to leave early. When we arrived and went to pay, we were charged 80,000 COP despite the price being 79,200 COP. Not a huge difference by any means, but i expect to be charged the same amount that I booked. Also, the owner mentioned that the booking includes breakfast, but because the price we paid through booking.com was very cheap, then it doesn't really need to include breakfast but she'll make something small for us nevertheless. We thought it was extremely rude - we booked a room for a certain price, including breakfast, and we expect it to be honoured.
Putting aside all the $ issues, the worst part of our stay was the amount of mould in the room - in the shower and in the room itself, it was terrible, smelled damp and highly unhealthy. There was also a smell of sewage coming from the shower (that had alsmost zero water pressure) when you showered. We could hardly sleep at night because of the smell.
- Suzanne (10/5): The hotel and lake are so beautiful but what makes this place really shine are the staff - they really make it shine lik - The property was beautiful and had amazing rooms and interesting and beautiful decor throughout - it reminded you of a Swiss Cottage with the cute curtains and the room had two amazing balconies to enjoy the stunning view over the lake. So many windows everywhere to make sure you got incredible views of the lake all around the building - we particularly loved the huge windows in the restaurant that gave incredible views and was a lovely place to sit and relax. The staff were amazing and so genuinely kind and helpful and really cared.
The extra touches of hot water bottle in your bed at night and coming to light the huge fire place to make the room really cozy - were amazing too and really appreciated There was nothing not to like
The lake is stunning and such an amazing location
The food was wonderful especially the smoked trout

- Vanesa (9/5): The hotel is so beautiful, the owner is very friendly and she is always giving you the attention that you need,I recomme - It was beautiful and clean, you have to check the map every time because the location is just on the corner. The attention and the owner is very good. If you have to go to the airport, it’s a good option that’s why I recommend it. It’s recommendable to check the map every time , because the location is hit on the corner
- Nealf (8/5): Very charming and interesting property and gardens. - Quiet, a bit out of town, very charming and pleasant. The pool is very basic. And no pool lounges only a couple of plastic chairs.
