• Mareike (1/5): In vier Monaten reisen, war das der schrecklichste schlimmste Aufenthalt - Die Lage Eine ganze Wand war mit Schimmel bedeckt, der muffige Geruch war so stark, dass man kaum atmen konnte. Bei meiner Beschwerde hat er mir einen Heizlüfter zum Trocknen für die Wohnung angeboten. Das habe ich aus gesundheitlichen Gründen abgelehnt. Für eine Erstattung musste er nur eine Mail an Booking.com schicken, dass er mit einer Erstattung des schon bezahlten Betrags von 775 € einverstanden ist. daraufhin hat er mich mehr als zehnmal per WhatsApp angerufen. Er hat behauptet er hat die Mail geschrieben. Als ich ein Beweis per Screenshot von ihm wollte, ist er dem nicht nachgekommen. Nach dem zehnten Telefonat hat er mir einen Screenshot mit dem gewünschten Einverständnis einer angeblich Mail von ihm auf eine No Reply Nachricht von booking.com geschickt die natürlich nie dort angekommen ist. Das ist kriminell. Selbst den angeblichen Screenshot hatte er kurze Zeit später aus der WhatsApp Kommunikation gelöscht. Die ganze Kommunikation lief telefonisch auf Spanisch. Mein Spanisch ist zwar gut, aber für schwierige Fällen nicht ausreichend. Meine Bitte, das über die offizielle Seite von booking.com schriftlich zu kommunizieren, damit ich einen Übersetzungsprogramm zur Hilfe nehmen kann, ist er nicht nachgekommen. Es war reine Abzocke. Die Wohnung war sehr dreckig und wurde lange nicht mehr geputzt.Dazu stand die Küche unter Wasser als ich ankam und ich musste die Wohnung erst mal putzen. Ich habe über booking.com gleich am nächsten Tag eine andere Wohnung gebucht. Dennoch habe ich mein Geld nicht wiederbekommen, sondern nur ein Sechstel des Betrags von Booking.com als Kulanz erstattet bekommen. Ich habe also mehr als 600 € verloren.

• MA ANGELES (10/5): Casa acogedora - Todo muy limpio, con todos los detalles y el anfitrion muy servicial me dio todas las instrucciones para llegar sin problema a la vivienda. Olia un poco a humedad, pero despues de abrir ventanas y la puerta de acceso a un patio muy coqueto y con mucha claridad, ya casi mo se notaba

• LorenaSandi (3/5): Podría mejorar. - La ubicación y el trato del casero. La falta de limpieza en general. En especial de la ropa de cama, algo tan íntimo. Tenía mal olor y parece que no se había limpiado de usos anteriores. El colchón deteriorado, incómodo. El baño también sucio. Polvo en puertas y estantes. Olor a humedad... La verdad que para pagar 110€ por noche dejó bastante que desear.

• Jan (9/5): Well-equipped apartment in the centre of Valverde. - Well-equipped apartment in the centre of Valverde. Everything seems to be as described in the listing. The owner doesn't speak English, but that seems to be the norm on El Hierro and in the end we were able to figure things out. The internet was mostly not working, fortunately I have a data plan.

• Caroline (8/5): A Great Holiday. - Excellent hot water for showers. Kitchen was spotless. Kettle, toaster, micro and fridge all looked brand new. Lots of cleaning washing detergents available. Beds were comfortable. Outside terrace was great. Able to hang out clothes was great. Instructions to get to house. We were lost for about an hour. It would be better to tell people to get off bus at Disa and follow signs to Quesadilla. Could do with more sockets in kitchen and bedroom. More towels would have been ice. Some bowls for crisps, cereal etc.. It might also been useful to say that its a steep climb to main street and bus station.
• Chiraz (10/5): Worth staying! - Very well situated. The little home is very well equipped. The big bed is not comfortable and the sheet and cover bed must be changed. It looks a bit poor. A very strong smell of humidity in that home.
