Guest Reviews
- Caitriona (9/5): -
- Amy (8/5): Great location good place to stay for us - Roomy and welcoming It was quite noisy, the stove was not really usable -
I struggled to boil pasta!
- Doyle (9/5): -
- Tanya Brooks (9/5): Great property, clean and very well equipped, we didn't take our dog but would next time - The property was well equipped, the hosts were excellent communicators and very helpful. It is on a main road which can be a bit noisy.
- Shelly (8/5): I enjoyed the holiday with my family and dogs. Thank you for being responsive when I texted/called. - The property is pet friendly and some pet supplies were provided. The kitchen is spacious and the air-con helped a lot on the hot days. The balcony at the back is cosy. There is plenty of storage space in each room. The locked door with code was a bit tricky to handle in the beginning. The bed sheets on the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were unclean - my children told me there were crumbs and dirts on the beds. No USB charging dockets available. The property is on the main road which makes it a bit hard to get in and out and it is a bit tricky when I need to go to Charlestown and alike. The drive way is made of pebbles which is unpleasant to drive on.
- Louise (7/5): Backyard photo needs to be updated - Toys were a hit with the toddler Backyard is no longer what the photo advertises. The majority of the lawn is now fenced off and taken up by a granny flat. What’s left of the yard is predominantly concrete and gravel, which wasn’t appealing on a hot day. The remaining small square of grass is full of dead patches and bindis.
- Gerald (7/5): - Close to sailing club Next to busy road
- najjar (8/5): We enjoyed the area, the zarafaa’s cafe near by I recommend - Very clean, very easy to access Nothing
- Deb (8/5): - It was small, but clean and had everything we needed for the perfect stay.
- Kelly (8/5): Adequate for what we needed- message left identifying a few tweaks required -
- Natalia (10/5): -
- Leanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tv (7/5): Good - Good location.
- Cathy (7/5): Overall, our experience was positive but there is room for improvement. - The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was in a central location close to the water/boat ramp, kids playground and Belmont shops. The hosts were easy to reach by phone. We enjoyed the fire pit, and there was plenty of space to park the car and boat securely in the backyard. The appliances were new and the kitchen well stocked with utensils, crockery and cookware. The traffic noise was minimal at night but the highway is very busy during the day. The power kept shutting off, and we had to keep flicking the fuse back on. We arrived after dark and we couldn't turn the lights on until we found the issue. It happened about half a dozen times during our 4 night stay.
The floor was dusty, so I had to sweep the whole house shortly after arriving as the dust was collecting on our feet. Aside from this, the house has been cleaned satisfactorily.
- Kristina (10/5): Nice for a short stay. - Lovely, clean, convenient accommodation.
- Lisa (10/5): A perfect home away from home. Close drive to some lovely areas for us to explore and was great for us and our two small - It was surprisingly quiet given that it was on a busy road. But the home was beautifully outfitted with all the extras. We stayed with our dogs and it was the perfect backyard, safe secure and tidy. The owners have created a great holiday home. There was nothing we didn’t like.
