Beside of that everything was perfect, love the room, very comfortable and clean.

Tainy was especially helpful. I was on the top floor with a lot of steps, hard work if you have knee problems.

• Rahmona (5/5): Comfortable but soured by the check-in - The location and price were good, and the room had 2x en-suite showers, which was nicely different. Beds were large and comfortable. Mainly, the hostess. We arrived very late at night, and had booked online for the following night. After saying we’d also have to pay for the night we were arriving as well (fair enough), she then charged us over what we had paid on BDC, as to add-on a ‘late check-in’ fee. Not only did we feel this a bit unfair on a young family who just wanted a few hours of sleep before morning, it was exacerbated by her insistence that we only pay cash, of which we didn’t have enough, having just come from the airport. We could pay by card, or give her all the cash we had (which would cover about 2/3 of the required amount), promising to visit a bank in the morning, but neither was accepted. Finally, after many phone calls to her manager (and the suggestion that our two young children could sleep on the chairs in reception), the latter was agreed on, but the whole ordeal was unnecessary and unwelcome. We had no issue paying for the night we arrived, but to charge more just because we eventually had no choice, despite only spending a few hours in the room, and then making it cash-only, was incredibly frustrating.

• Maria (10/5): I highly recommend CHOMM for anyone looking for great value for money. Great location. Great service - The flight was 8-9 hours delayed. We arrived at 1 am, and the staff was up and accommodating. The location was perfect. 15-minute walk to Victory Monument Station or Pratunam Night Market. This also means you are one BTS ride/6 stations away from Chatuchak! Breakfast was simple but great - a mix of Thai and American. If you want something different to eat, you're a few steps away from convenience stores, restos, and food stalls ANY time of the day. The service was superb! Can't praise the staff enough! I'm one point away from saying it was perfect because of the flights of stairs we had to muster coming in and going out. Ask for a room in the lower floors. We had the top one (pretty rooms, prettier bathrooms!), and it (the winding staircase) was a daily challenge for me that I wrote off as my daily "exercise." It's great value for money! I'd book again! We were assigned great rooms with great bathrooms. We were given the top floor. That meant traversing stairs, which was ok except for the last three flights, which was a steep, narrow, winding staircase. We always laughed it off as our daily workout going out and into our rooms. It was challenging but it was OK. Ask for a room on any of the lower floors if you're not up to it. The top floor was quiet. We had it all to ourselves, which was a great tradeoff to the punishing stairs :-) We slept like babies. <3

• Albert (6/5): Pleasant - The location is good. Tainy helped early check-in by an hour. Staff is unavailable after 8pm and i had no help whatsoever. Tainy is unresponsive in the evenings after 8pm. Had to request for cleaning as it was not done.
• Sherine (3/5): Shocking & disappointment - Decent accommodation Stairs!! Imagine walking up 3 floors after a full day walk, blessed my feet. Also, lots of house rules, not flexible,bed are hard, location are not great either ! The room setting are also weird , they are also scamming me ‘ in a way’ saying if we left room cleaned, some money will be refund but neh….. ( i won’t say real scams cause it is up to owner judgement of course) . But disappointment stacks up! Not an accommodation I would like to experience again! Price point no longer attractive if to compare what i get, you spend it all back at transportation . There are too many alternatives with similar pricing tiers ,which I found later for one night extension in bkk. regret booking my stay here.

Recommended for young people travel in group. Not quite convenient for elder people. The lift is designed for moving stuffs not people.

They even wake up at 4a.m in the morning and help me book a very cheap van to the airport (1200 baht for 12 seat new van). We are thankful for the hospitality. The information in booking might not be correct. We still have to share the bath room with another room. Sound proof might need improvement, we came back at 10p.m and the guest next room seemed to be disturbed.

• Dino (10/5): I would give this 10/10, no doubt. - Everything was in order, First they have free breakfast in the morning even though it is basic but atleast they have. Second, the whole place is very clean, and lastly The staff(Mother & Daughter) gave us more than just an exceptional service, they always smiled, they give us everything we need, and even got us a taxi going to the airport. They dont break your bank too.. Just a minor thing, the bathroom is on the outside but atleast we got 2 individual showers and toilets and also the way you have to lock the room its a bit tricky.

Deposit money for key without receipt - a violation of monetary policy. Antique touch, old furniture and fashion but good arrangements. Otherwise everything ok.

Location is great, near the main road, restaurants, convenience stores and small cafeterias. Maybe 10-15 minute walk to Pratunam Market and Platinum Mall. The staff are very nice, respectful and accommodating. Kudos to Tainy for welcoming us warmly and helping with our inquiries. She's always ready to lend a helping hand, very efficient and attentive with the guests. Will definitely book again in Chomm when we go back to Thailand. It could be fantastic if the Comfort and Shower Rooms are inside the room but nevertheless we're still satisfied. Regarding breakfast, I hope they'll add meat or fish dish to go with the rice. • Evadyne (10/5): SATISFIED STAY is understatement. - The staffs are very accommodating and helpful in our daily travel. They even offer vehicle booking re: Bolt and Grab. The staff can speak English and we don't need a translator app in every conversation. Choom House is the perfect hotel because they have a co-working space and offers free unlimited coffee and snacks. Its also This is not applicable to us because we really like our stay in Choom House.
