• Timothy (7/5): Good - Clean, quiet despite very busy area, and a good location for seeing attractions. Despite notifying host day before (and earlier by a reply email which host denies receiving) of our arrival time at noon (1200) and desire for earliest entry at 1400 or earlier and despite instructions to call an hour before arrival, there was no answer to booking.com listed phone number for 3 hours. Very busy area and had to leave my wife sitting alone to get a cell signal to call booking.com, then had to pay daily fee to activate backup phone. Never did get an answer at the listed number. Also, although I understood that the property only had a kitchenette, this was the first time that such a listing didn't include a microwave, small oven or toaster oven. Also, no bedside tables or bedside lights and no USB outlets. No overhead lights other than in the bathroom. Two lamps were only lights for sleeping area and at dining table (a table lamp). Also, 6th floor apartment (a good thing because of very loud street noise) required use of elevator that was one-half of a flight of stairs up and also one-half a flight after exit in order to gain access to apartment. Might be a problem for some patrons. Finally, everyone (not just this host) seems to assume that they can communicate using a service called WhatsApp, which l never heard of before this trip. Don't have it and apparently missed messages from this venue and other service providers.

• Silvia (10/5): The location of this apartment made our stay in Florence so easy! - The location was fantastic. Close to the art galleries and Michaelangelo’s Square, Ponto Vecchio & great restaurants. Simona arrived at the exact time we had agreed to give us the keys. The apartment is spacious, clean, airy and bright!

• Maximiliano (8/5): Cosy, beautiful apartment in an incredible location in Florence - The apartment’s location is FANTASTIC and the view from the terrace and bedroom are just lovely. As soon as we arrived we opened the curtains and got a bit emotional by just looking at the wonderful rooftops, towers and general view of Florence :) It was very easy to move around and reach all major touristic points from the apartment, as well as finding great places to eat at any time. The apartment could be a bit better stocked in terms of basic necessities, such as a kettle for making tea or a bigger coffee machine (the only one available is a moka pot which would make enough for 1 small espresso cup, not ideal for 2 people).
• Fiona (8/5): Great location with a great balcony, - The apartment was in a really central position close to all attractions. The apartment had what we needed for our stay in Florence. It was very clean and comfortable. It also had a great balcony wrapping around the apartment - unfortunately because of the time of year, it was too hot to sit out only late in the evening but great to have it and it had fantastic views over the city. It would have been good if there were some toiletries like shampoo, shower gel, etc in the bathroom.
