• Angelika (5/5): Licht und Schatten - Die Lage und die Erreichbarkeit ist super. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, vielseitig und frisch präsentiert. Lage: sehr ruhig und mit hervorragender Anbindung an Busse / in kürzester Zeit somit in der Innenstadt. Viele Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür. Alle Zimmer sind nur über eine Treppe zu erreichen - keine andere Möglichkeit (Aufzug). Das hätte ich vorher wissen müssen - mein Zimmer im dritten Stockwerk zu erreichen war für mich (ältere Alleinreisende) eine Herausforderung. Beide Fenster waren mit Folie von außen abgeklebt - um 8:00 Uhr fingen Handwerker mit der Arbeit an / Klopfen und Hämmern an der Hauswand direkt am Fenster. Auch hier keine entsprechende Vor-Information. Der Hinweis auf die freundliche, familiäre Atmosphäre lief ins Leere - bis auf die Person im Frühstücksraum habe ich niemanden sonst angetroffen.

Auch war das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir hatten das Zimmer im 3.OG und es gab keinen Aufzug, aber das dient hier nur zur Info. Was mich persönlich mehr gestört hat, bei uns stand ein Baugerüst am Fenster, wo täglich die Bauarbeiten gelaufen sind. Schon sehr unangenehm. Zudem waren keine Hygienebeutel im Bad vorhanden und wurden auch nie aufgefüllt. Auch war unsere Zimmer ganz schön in die Jahre gekommen.

• Gabriele (8/5): - Es ist ein kleines, einfaches, sauberes Hotel. Für unsere Zwecke sehr gut geeignet. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort, konnten unseren kleinen Hund mitnehmen und direkt vor dem Hotel kostenlos parken. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Unser Zimmer war in der dritten Etage und es gibt keinen Fahrstuhl. War für uns nicht schlimm, dient hier nur als Information.
• Wim (5/5): Koude douche, maar verder alles in orde. - er is goed nagedacht over een gevarieerd en smakelijk ontbijt, voor slechts €9,- ik douchte direct na aankomst, ca 14:00 uur, douche gaf geen warm water, geen probleem, want ik wilde opfrissen. Maar ik meldde het euvel direct bij de receptie, bleek 's-avonds niet opgelost, ook geen berichtje voor mij of er aan gewerkt werd, dus maar niet gedouched, tweede dag opnieuw gemeld, 's-avonds nog steeds niet opgelost, derde dag bij uitcheck geen excuses, of toelichting, of compensatie. De feedback die ik op dat punt gaf werd niet gewaardeerd. Kreeg toegesnauwd dat ik op een bepaalde knop had moeten drukken. En daar moest ik het mee doen.

• Heike (8/5): - Das Hotel liegt 20 Min Fußweg vom Bahnhof entfernt. Gegenüber ist ein kleiner Wald, für uns mit Hund eine perfekte Lage! Das Zimmer war sehr schön und trotz der zentralen Lage war es ruhig in der Nacht. Wir würden sofort wieder dort übernachten.
• Kerstin (7/5): Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist ok. - Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück war für den Preis (9€) erstaunlich gut. ÖPNV vor der Tür, aber ohne Lärmbelästigung. Beschädigte Ausstattung in Bad und Zimmer wird scheinbar erst ersetzt, wenn wirklich nix mehr geht. Ökologisch sinnvoll ist das, aber schön ist es nicht.

Leider war die Matratze für mich zu hart, es war sehr hellhörig. Die Toilette auf dem Flur zur Gemeinschaftsnutzung war ok, leider war der vorhandene Desinfektionsmittelspender leer. Für die fehlendene Sauberkeit der Gäste kann das Hotel jedoch leider nichts.

• Juergen (9/5): Tolles Haus für Städtereise - Sehr schönes und ruhiges Haus in toller Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut und reichlich. Vor dem Hotel gibt es ausreichend kostenlose Parkplätze. Für eine Städtereise würden wir das Hotel immer wieder gerne buchen. Die Frühstückszeiten könnten gerne bis 10.00 Uhr ausgeweitet werden.

Die Lage ist sehr gut: Knapp 10 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt (Bus). Abends und Sonntags dauert es länger. ca. 15 Gehminuten zum Zoo Hannover 20 Minuten mit dem Bus zum Fußball. Abends zurück ca. 45-50 Minuten da die Busse kaum noch fahren. Eigenlich nur das es im Zimmer kein WC gab. (nur auf der Etage)
• Jessica (8/5): Freundlich geführtes Hotel in guter Lage mit tollem Frühstück - Lage: Hotel gut erreichbar vom Hauptbahnhof, Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Tür, trotz Fenster zur Straße nachts angenehm ruhig. Frühstück: Beim Frühstück gab es sehr viel Auswahl und es war alles sehr lecker und das für einen wirklich fairen Preis! Ausstattung: Dusche hinsichtlich Wasserdruck und Temperatur tiptop; Gemeinschaftstoilette war sauber; es gab drei Kissen im Bett, dadurch war es schon sehr gemütlich :) Das Zimmer schien etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein - grundsätzlich nicht sooo schlimm - aber es war auch etwas staubig, was wegen meiner Stauballergie etwas ungünstig war. Für eine Nacht war das aber vollkommen in Ordnung für mich.

• Tia_pap (7/5): Great location! - The location was excellent! The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. For the price, it was definitely good value. Check-in is only available before 5:30 PM, but they have a safety box system for picking up keys after hours, which worked really smoothly. Even though I booked a room with a bathroom, the WC was actually outside the room, which wasn’t ideal. Also, there was no way to check out early in the morning before reception opened. I had to just leave the keys on the counter, which felt a bit uncertain. It would be great if there was a check-out box or something similar for guests who need to leave early for flights or other reasons.

• Petra (9/5): Cozy hotel for people simply looking for a place to sleep (and excellent breakfast) - The reviews I read before my trip said mostly that the breakfast was "ok", but that's not true. It's actually wonderful. So many things to choose from: all kinds of fresh buns, toast, lunch meat, cheese, eggs, cereals, juice, jam, honey, yoghurt, cake...(and coffee and tea, obviously). The breakfast room may be tiny, but it's packed full of delicious things. Every single member of staff I met during my weekend stay was friendly and helpful - very nice people. The single room I'd booked (#19, with toilet and shower) is small, but well cut and cozy, with a window in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. It has a built-in cabinet I stored my trolley bag in, a firm mattress and lights at both the bed & the small table, so you don't need to turn on the bright main light of the room. The tv can be turned to watch from bed. I'd brought my own shower towel, but there was one big and one small towel at the bathroom. The place offers its guests some excellent olive soap and shower gel, so in the end I only used my own shampoo. I know this depends a lot on the other guests staying at the hotel, but I found the room overall quiet - no loud tv or voices disturbing me in the evening or at night. (Only when you open the windows, you hear the cars on the Fritz-Behrens-Allee from this room, as it's to the front.) There is a bus stop (Friedenstraße) only a few steps away from the hotel. I was planning on walking the 20 or so minutes from the train station, but it was far more comfortable to take the bus directly from there - it's only a few stops. Once there Zoo and Congress Center are also not far on foot, but the bus takes you there in a fraction of the time. Directly opposite the hotel is a park which you may want to go to for an evening stroll - just watch out for cyclists, they're everywhere, and they're not slow. If you cut through this park there is an Edeka only a few walking minutes away on Bödekerstrasse. No elevator. (The staff tending to the rooms must be VERY fit indeed!) NEUTRAL: I just want to emphasize here that this is not the hotel for you if you don't have full use of your legs. There are stairs leading down to the reception area even before you enter the house and everything is upstairs from there. This is definitely not meant as a rating, it's just the way the house is built. It's also a hotel without extras like pool, sauna, playing areas for kids and the like. Which - if you don't need this kind of thing - you will also be happy not having to pay for. Personally I felt this hotel was perfect for my stay visiting the Maker Faire 2024 at the Congress Center.

Good breakfast. Several restaurants within a few minutes walk. No tea or coffee making equipment in the room, although there were facilities on the ground floor. No lift.
