Guest Reviews
- A'Court (8/5): - each rm having a tv and mini fridge.
the style and character.
quality renovation.
central location.
spacious. no exhaust fan in main bathroom.
ceiling heater in main bathroom didn't work.
hot water not quite hot enough.
complimentary tea/coffee/white sugar.
- Cindy (7/5): - Location was great Price increases when I booked, went back onto the booking site and it was still the old price. Faults advertisement
- Christopher (9/5): Comfortable and central accommodation in Collie - Riverbank Suites was ideal as a base in Collie for a few days walking the Bibbulmun Track. The four comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms with toilets and showers, well set up kitchen, lounge/dining area and outside table and chairs suited our needs very well. Parking is directly outside on the street and a variety and shops, supermarkets and places to eat are within walking distance. Wifi was patchy and lounge could do with one extra comfortable chair.

- Fiona (8/5): - Location very clean

- Janine (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay here. Walking distance to everything you need. The house was very clean, beds are very comfortable. Will definitely be staying again.
- Mark (10/5): - Super clean, well catered for in amenities. Very convenient central location. Street parking but nno problem.
- Faye (9/5): - Very spacious and neat accommodation. Perfect for our family getaway.
- Denise (8/5): - Locality was perfect for doing the Mural trail and access to the centre of town. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms well heated. Lovely hot showers. The house was quite drafty and very limited heating in the lounge/dining area.
- Malachy (10/5): Very happy - Very clean good location, roomy Could use a rail on front steps
- Andrew (10/5): Awesome - Clean well stocked with everything you need Nothing
- Brandon (7/5): Convenient and Close to Everything - The property appeared to be well kept. It's an older home that appeared to have some work done internally (ie: the floors looked like they were recently re-finished). There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and we only required 3 of the 4 rooms. It was walking distance to everything you could need. It was a bit rough around the edges with some things they could work on. There was an old fireplace that was removed/filled in; however the floor where it once sat remained un-finished. The main living space was a good size, but there was only a single, 2 seater sofa. There was also a small dinning area with a single chair and 3 bench style seats, but I would have liked to have seen a second sofa and maybe a coffee table. We were there on a holiday and we had planned to see some of Collie and the surrounding area, but we also just wanted to hang our and play games, and I felt it wasn't really setup for that. The parking was advertised as free which it was. However it was only free street parking, there was no actual parking on the property when we were there.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Central location to everything The only slight problem is noise but that goes with the property
Double glazing would fix this small problem
- Hannah1076 (9/5): Perfect house for family or friend trips - The house was lovely and recently renovated.
Location was perfect. Bedding options were fantastic and were very comfy. Rooms were spacious, having 2 bathrooms and toilets that weren't an unsuite was ideal. Aircons and smart tvs in each room were a great addition. The vacuum could do with an upgrade for better and easier cleaning.
- Jude (7/5): Trip was spoilt by the hosts lack of communication getting keys to us wasted 2-3hrs to find key - Property was clean and central, aircons in all the rooms was great as it was a very hot weekend. Very disappointed re this as it wasn't a great start to our weekend away. On arrival it was very hard to get the keys to the property to gain entry as the ph number provided for the owner was never answered, calls or messages ignored, then they turned the phone off. We only got the keys by asking a girl in Coles if they knew the owners who advised us to go to one of the pubs as they part own it. At the pub they couldn't find the keys there, had to ring the cleaner who gave them a lockbox pin. On booking.com they asked the question re arrival time; we did request that we meet the owner at the property between 3-4pm but did not get a reply in regard to that. It was after 6pm that we eventually got into the property which made us all late for the function we were attending. We couldn't access the internet as the password didn't work, we sent a message to the owner asking the question, didn't get a reply. So, to say that we were not very happy with the owner/host lack of communication is an understatement. The property has 4 queen size beds, advertises it can accommodate 8 people but all they provide is a 2-seater couch when there could be 8 adults in the property, I suggest a bigger couch is installed in the lounge area so that all visitors to the property can socialise in that area, yes there are TVs in all the rooms but who wants to spend the whole day lying in bed whilst on a family holiday when you want to spend time together not isolated in bedrooms. The air vent in the kitchen could do with a clean, the fridge smelt like fish (we put cut lemon in the fridge which helped). I'd also suggest that a split system is installed in the lounge area as it got very hot in there. The stones that you have outside the laundry for older people could be a slip issue maybe put a couple of slabs down to reach the clothesline grassed area. The property would benefit from having a folder with info about the internet, places to eat, things to do etc.
- Billy (8/5): Very good -
- John (9/5): Excellent property. I would stay there again, but communication could have been better. - Could not fault the property. Great value for money. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well fitted out with equipment. Great kitchen utensils / equipment. Completely appreciated that I was given this alternative property to stay in because of a mix up when it wasn't quite ready, I.E. TV's not connected to antennas. This wasn't really an issue though, given that everything else in the property was great. Communication was good before I got to the property, but I had to wait over an hour after the arranged time to get the keys. Also had to message and call to find out what to do with the keys when I left.
