- ajtravia (10/5): Lovely cosy cottage - Cosy and very comfortable. Ticked all our boxes, including the bonus snacks which we appreciated very much. Very minor detail - the hand basin in the bathroom was really tiny, hard not to get water everywhere.

- Louise (10/5): Lovely peaceful cottage with a beautiful warm feel in winter. - Gorgeous Cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need. Super comfortable with fire lit on arrival. Nothing
- Nelli (10/5): A little gem! - A little gem in the country away from the hustle and bussel of the Thredbo. Only a short drive to return to a warm indoor fire. There is plenty of space for a couple and 1 child with everything you need. We loved it! The only thing is if you're staying longer than 1 night.
I would recommend the divan be left as a foot lounge for space. To then make up yourself when needed. The many games would be more accessible too. We loved the Kabbage!

- Giselle (10/5): Perfect - So lovely, exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was warm and cosy with the loveliest fireplace. The hosts were very nice and set the apartment up with snacks and had the fire going before we arrived. This has to be the best place I’ve stayed in from booking.com. My partner and I can’t wait to come back!

- Rose (9/5): Beautiful little place, amazing hosts that were so accommodating and responsive. We will be back!! - Beautiful little place in idyllic surroundings, the hosts were amazing and have left big shoes to fill for other hosts!! A few additional kitchen utensils would have been great: egg flip & a peeler for example. Other than that it was fantastic and well stoked for such a small kitchen
- Dave (10/5): Wonderful cabin, tastefully and thoughtfully appointed. - Tastefully appointed and very comfortable. Bed was very comfortable and the big screen TV was a big plus. Everything that was needed was there including snacks. Very accessible location for day trips to the high country. N/A

- Renate (10/5): Exceptional - We spent a lovely night at this wonderful little cottage. It is quite cosy but beautifully and cleverly decorated. Everything that one needs is provided. There is a wood fire that would be wonderful in cooler weather. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and made arrival smooth and stress free. Highly recommended.
- Alexander (10/5): It was such a pleasant and enjoyable experience - thank you! - This is an excellent independent place to stay, from a great hosts. The property is extremely clean, quiet, and comfortable, and it provides everything you might need. The heat pump ensures a nice and warm environment, and the fireplace is a fantastic bonus. We would love to stay here again.
- Roger (10/5): Berridale was the perfect position for us to scout around north, south, east and west of it. - Nic and Ken were wonderful hosts/owners and our arrival instructions were very easy.
We were able to self-cater for any meal, as there was a very well-appointed kitchen - fridge, microwave, oven, hob, kettle, toaster - and all utensils, etc. There were also delicious snacks on hand!
The Kabbage was spacious and very comfortable. The large loungeroom was very cosy. The fireplace was put to good use and was very effective. Firelighters, kindling and firewood were on-hand, but Ken also prepares the fire for you, daily.
The bed was very comfortable, with the perfect array/weight of bed coverings.
The whole place was spotlessly clean. It was also very private, but our delightful hosts were always available and easily contactable, were we to need anything.
Oh, the local pub and Cellar Door (Shut the Gate) were within walking distance and highly recommended. Not a single complaint! Nic and Ken were able to advise us with local information and recommendations.
- Ehtesham (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (10/5): Comfy, quiet country get away. - There are some holiday properties that you walk into and go ahhhhh, yes!... the hosts know what they're doing to make your stay as comfy as possible ... and this is one of them. Great hosts and acom. I stayed with 2 kids who slept peacefully on the sofa and fold out bed, while I snoozed in the bedroom. Zero
- Colleen (9/5): A rough diamond from the outside, lovely inside. - Cabin was unlocked when we arrived as per the email we'd received. Ken (host) introduced himself after we arrived & gave us some info regarding the snow that we didn't get from the Jindabyne information centre. Had some snacks provided by the hosts, a great stay. Only thing needed was a steamer for cooking.
- Monica (9/5): My son and I enjoyed our stay, watching movies on the big TV and relaxing after a day skiing. - It was very clean, well equipped, nicely renovated, very cosy, and set in a lovely spot. The owners are very friendly and welcoming also and had the fire going for us each afternoon. A lovely stay!

- Gerald (10/5): Let' just say. There is a reason why other guests have also rated this place so highly - Hosts Nic and Ken went further and beyond our expectations. From a customer service perspective, they need to train big corporates on how to run their businesses
Your loss if you don't stay here at least once after sightseeing around the area (from a city person's perspective) None

The hosts were excellent and Nic has clearly put a lot of thought into how they could make the place as comfortable as possible. From the house we walked through the town and visited Shut the Gate for a wine tasting and enjoyed the short walk back home. We felt so warm and welcome here that u can’t really experience in Sydney. Definitely come back again
- Phil (9/5): Great - Ill be back - Nic and Ken were great hosts. Nothing was an issue for them. I arrived unexpectedly, but nothing was an issue for them The facilities have everything you want and more. Will definitely be back Only issue in the morning was due to the very low overnight the hotwater pipes froze Small issue for me, everything else about the facilities overrode this
- Davide (9/5): Superb -
- Karl (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to stay!!
- Backhouse (9/5): Clean, cosy, comfortable - Very clean, cosy. Extremely well organised with nice touches such as fire started and heated blanket on for our arrival.

- Alex (9/5): Cosy Berridale Cottage - A cosy place to rest and relax after a day on the slopes. Well appointed with nice furnishings, a warm fire and a drying rack for your snow gear. Nic and Ken are wonderful and personable hosts who will ensure you have an amazing stay, even getting the fire going as you make your way down hill! It's the little touches that count the most. A few extra sleeping pillows would be nice but this isn't an issue at all.
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Really nice cozy cabin, hosts were excellent. Fire was lit when we arrived. Easy drive to the skitube for skiing. Price is fantastic.
- Glenn (10/5): Hidden Gem is an understatement. - We loved everything about this place. Its perfect. Wood fire upon arrival on a frosty night. Huge TV with Netflix and a super comfortable couch was exactly what we needed after a long drive. Amazing place. We took our daughter to the snow for the very first time. Had a great day in the snow, and when lt came time to leave she said, Im really going to miss the Kabbage. She even named her new plushy Kabbage. Nothing. Everything perfect.
