• Hamza (7/5): For the price I paid this was perfect! - Well this place is literally less than 5 min from two metro stations in one that have two of the best lines connecting you to all Istanbul. This is basically the most important feature because it was so easy for me to go back and forth during the day for many times since the place is literally next to a metro station, you won't wait for more than 8 min in the station TOPS. It's close to a mall, same place as the metro station which is great if you need to do some grocery shopping or get water or anything including food and stuff... The neighbourhood is great , calm and nice place there is absolutely nothing bad about it. The room itself is small, enough for one person or two at max. THIS ROOM IS NOT GOOD for more than 2 people tops at also one condition it's that you only need the place to rest in between your activities or just to sleep at night. The biggest and worst thing is that the room i got was not the one in the picture! While when I booked there were no pics of the room I got. I got the rooftop room. Honestly the worst thing about it is that it does not have a WINDOW !!! IMAGINE being in Istanbul and aren't able to see out !! So that fact was great actually since I didn't spend time in the room rather then went out discovering the city and having fun. I could not stand fully in the bedroom cos of the roof , im 1 meter 82 cm . I hit my head so much in the bathroom and bedroom since the apartment is tiny and really low ceiling. To be fair the price was so great for 6 nights and for this reason i m not being harsh since for the price I'm not disappointed. It is fair value for money. The room could be cleaner , it's not rotten but a dust wipe and some deep cleaning of the bathroom would be great. Toilet is functional , clean and water pressure is good. But a deeper cleaning i.e. dust in the bathroom could be cleaned. Again do not expect a 5 starts hotel but also maintain in mind that this is their smallest and I think worst room that I insist that for the price I paid I cannot complain honestly.

• Burakyirmibesoglu (1/5): Run away from this place. - Hotel refuses to give invoice even after asking through phone and Booking.com. Never had to do this much calls to get a basic invoice, in most places I can just leave my email in checkout and receive my invoice in a day. Stay away from this kind of shady places. Same price much better alternatives near Kadikoy center. I will be also sending an official complaint to the tax office as this is illegal in Turkey.

• Jakub (8/5): Great price to quality ratio - The place has an excellent price-quality ratio. It's located near a mall, Marmaray station and within walking distance from Kadıköy. It's located in an old wooden house, which adds greatly to the atmosphere. Expect squeaking floorboards. It's furnished simply, but efficiently. The bathrooms are okay, with an open shower. The room has an AC, which is a necessity in hot Turkish weather. But probably the best part of this place is the price, lower than anywhere else. + price + atmosphere of an old wooden house + localisation + AC My room could use a deep cleaning, it was a little dusty in some places. I also killed a few clothing moths one evening, I hope they came from outside, moth infestations are very difficult to deal with. I laundered my clothing on high heat, just in case after coming back. - cleanliness in some places
• Faure (8/5): Very good - Very friendly host. Beautiful Ottoman style building in a local Turkish neighborhood. Tourist free area. One underground stop away from ferry to European side as well as the vibrant bustling Kadikoy. Lots to explore.

• Anonymous (4/5): Cheap But Not So Cheerful - Close to metro and not far from wharf to take ferry across to other side of river. The WiFi was good. It was low cost. The bathroom had a sewerage smell that would leak out into the main room. It wasn’t clean. The ceiling was very low in the loft room we had so we had to bend over in the bedroom.

• Martyna (10/5): Exceptional - The host is super nice and helpful. He helped me with anything I asked about Istanbul and places around. The room for the price is awesome. We even got extras like fruits or slippers. The bed is really comfortable. The street might be a little bit loud, but in the night no noises.
• Samet (1/5): Bad - İt wasn’t clean we had to check out earlier than planned. We don’t recommend to anybody at all.
• Luis (5/5): Passable - The location is really good , close to the shopping centre , train station and close to the port . The mattress is really bad , and it provides paper cups very small, not teaspoons.
• Adriana (4/5): Really dissapointing, one of the worst accomodations I have ever experienced - It was cheap, and close to the Metro station I don’t understand how can this property have a 8.7 score on Booking! There must be something wrong with the scoring. The heavy smell of burning Chinese incense from the lobby was everywhere. The door of one of the rooms would stay closed only if locked. The rooms were cold, the hallway was very cold and the so-called bathroom was in the hallway. Actually there was no bathroom, only two small toilets, smaller than the one in our caravan, with a shower on the wall. You would have to shower all over the toilet, the toilet paper and your clothes (hanging on the door). And then you would have to use it like this, all wet. There was no hot water at the sink at all, only some warm water at the shower. In a snowing February Istanbul, with negative temperatures outside, this experience was not at all pleasant. The towels and the bed lining were old and worn and cheap and unpleasant and were never changed during our 4 night vacation. The rooms were also not very clean. We used the air conditioning for heating, which was noisy. Good thing Istanbul is always great, even under snow, so we spend no time indoor.

• Erno (7/5): Great location, comfortable stay - The staff was very nice and helpful The first night we weren't able to set the heating, and got sick because it was very cold. I forgot to ask to show how to make the hesting work and the staff forgot to show us properly. PS: for better lighting, a lamp could be added next to the bed.
• Mohd (10/5): Good location, comfortable bed - The location is near to Marmaray and Metro station Ayrilik Cesmesi. It is also near to mall, just 5 minutes walk. The room is also very clean with comfortable bed and linen. The room is equipped with fridge and fruits in it. Bathroom is really clean. Aircond also function as heater. The unit also comes with Netflix which is good for me. I can watch it all day if i dont feel like going out in a cold weather. The unit is a bit difficult to search since there is no signboard at the front of apartment. Once you found it, the rest is easy. Heater takes a bit of time to heat the water, i think i had to wait around 5-10min. There are things that i dont like about the bathroom. 1. The light operates based on motion, there is no switch. So the light will turned off when you are almost motionless while using the toilet or the sink. 2. The bathroom window is too high for me to reach. I cant open it to let the bathroom smells went out. I would suggest the owner to install a fan extractor for the bathroom to keep the smell out.
