Guest Reviews
- Eugen Leis (9/5): Best decision for Fuerteventura if you seek nature and peace - Stunning location with a great view at the end of the world. Great things to see nearby, it's a great starting point to see the island from a not touristic side and experience the nature. It was definitely the best decision for us to come here and maybe we will come back again. But you need to know where you're going to - no shops and no restaurants that are open until evening. The check-in procedure with picking up the key in Morro Jable was a bit complicated and time consuming, it was a bit difficult to find the place and a parking lot in Morro Jable. There's room for improvement with this.
- Kris (9/5): Perfect for chilled stays. - Amazing location, fantastic views. Very satisfied. Difficult to find the location if checking in at night.
- spochacz (10/5): Memories that will last forever! We will be back ! - This charming place. 😍Absolutely stunning views , sounds of waves, beautiful small village warm welcoming from local people. It’s escape from chaos of cities. Peaceful place . We had an amazing time and the words can’t explain how beautiful this place is … Absolutely nothing
- Avie (8/5): Fantastic place with even more fantastic potential - just needs some TLC - Location, location, location… unbeatable Little things, but considering the incredible potential of this place, worth the mention:
1. No hand soap in the bathroom
(mentioned this to owner who apologized for cleaner’s overnight)
2. disgustingly moldy shower curtain - we ultimately had to remove it and shower curtainless, rather than tusk touching the black accumulation on bottom. Likely harmless, but …
3. Broken lock on entrance door. Friend of landlord came by to try and fix this, but was told successful. I don’t expect thieving is a huge concern thus tiny community, but that they have a fancy alarm system on the other hand, kind of begs the question. We simply made sure to keep all valuables locked in our car or on our person whenever we left the suite.
4. Coffee maker didn’t work after first day. We advised owner who suggested we report this to same friend who came for lock fixing, but he was also at a loss. Also, paper filters in the suite were for a larger coffee maker (no big deal as we cut them to size, first day while unit was working)
5. Cleaning supplies stacked in bathroom are just “there”… (mops, cleaning fluids, buckets, etc) - who cares right? But such a simple solution to bring this place to a whole other level :-(
6. Otherwise well equipped kitchen except no proper spatula (we used a flat wooden one)
7. Towels: random towels of all different sizes and colors that have clearly seen better days... Just a couple of quality bath towels that don’t look like they’ve been through the wringer would have made a real difference in impression.
Would I come back here? In a heartbeat.
This commentary isn’t about slagging a place or person - I really hope it’s taken in the best light as simply suggestions for improvement. I have no doubt in my mind that minimal effort would bring this place to 5 star status given the chance.
- Arthur (5/5): Poor value for money, bad service but nice view - Nice view,
The house is well equipped, except for soap, bodywash or shampoo. The owner was unresponsive for 1 hour as we were looking for the house (who's not correctly setup on booking).
The neighbour that finally opened to us could tell us much about the place, forgot to mention the two video camera.
The place wasn't clean, as if no one was there for a while.
The value for money is very poor considering the level of service.
The boiler is leaking.
- Moreno (10/5): It’s a very magical place to be if you like being in remote locations. It’s not for everyone but for those that like re - One of the best locations we ever been. The views, the sound of the ocean, the peace and quiet. There was nothing we didn’t like
- Stefan (10/5): Lovely Place - Extremely nice location. The home is very basic. But with so much charm. We loved it. There is basically nothing around. 3 Restaurants and that's it. So bring yourself what you need) The next supermarket is 15km away. What else to say. It is a very unique location. Romantic. Quite. So you need to understand before you book here what you want.
