- Shirley (1/5): Advertisement does not reflect the true condion of the property. Very Misleading. - This property was both disappointing and misleading in the same measure. We stayed here as a last minute booking and wished we had decided to go home instead. I am a well seasoned traveller and can honestly say I have stayed in better properties in rural Northern India in comparison to this property. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone, especially people with a family. These are some of the reasons why I would not recommend this property Old faded linen/ blankets on beds and stained mattress protector. Curtains and blinds that barely kept out the glare of the outside overnight spotlight that was left on all night - Or the morning light at dawn. A previously used dishcloth that was soaked with detergent sitting in the sink. Old ragged tea towels and towels. Owners Dog Owners dog barking non stop in the small hours of the morning. Parked on the balcony that was intended for use by the customer during the day. No chairs for guests on balcony. A bag of smelly dog food left opened on the balcony. The owners bringing her dog into the apartment and the dog running around whilst the owner explained things to the customer. No question to the customer about allergies, children fearful of dogs etc. Filthy grimy door stops in all rooms. Needed a good scrub. Cracked crockery held together with glue. Stained coffee cups and chipped plates. Laminate on the kitchen bench coming loose on the edge of the bench and harbouring dead insects and grime. Chains and padlocks draped across cupboards in the living area containing the owner's personal property. Dirty kitchen sink that had grime stains around the taps and inside the sinkhole. Fish food left on the kitchen windowsill. Opened bar of soap provided for guest use. Very low pressure in the shower Hole in wall of bathroom/ laundry. Perve board of tatty photos of men on back of toilet door. Owner chatting loudly upstairs to friends to quite late.
- Jacob (1/5): Worst experience - Nothing!! The half naked men posters on the toilet door labled perving board. Having a curfew. Living with the host upstairs that can be heard simply walking around. Barking dogs. No curtains on bedroom window. Waking up at 530 to the sun glaring in. Cant use the spa unless u give the host 24hrs notice and can only be used at certain times to suit host as it is located upstairs where she lives and not in the alocated area booked. The dust. The bugs. The txt messages at 10pm enquiring as to what time we will be coming home. Didnt stay the 2nd night. And no refund for it. Other than that it was great!!!!
- Jill (9/5): Superb - I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Just Beachy. The host was friendly and welcoming. There were all necessary (and many extra) food items provided, so it was not necessary to go shopping immediately. The accommodation, while older in style, is clean and well equipped, and the bed comfortable. I am a solo traveller and felt safe here.
