- Darielle Ann (10/5): Overall Its ok for its price If you dont mind walking ! - The property was really nice and good for a party of 3 (2 of us shared the bed and 1 was on the futon)! The facilities were really useful and clean plus theres an elevator so we didn’t need to worry about carrying our luggage upstairs. The step by step procedure for check in helped. Its quite far from the main station so you have to walk a distance but there is a bus stop near by if you’re not in the rush.

- Adrian Sterr (9/5): - Die Lage in Ikebukuro ist wirklich toll, man braucht nur 15 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof Ikebukuro, wovon man überall hinkommt. Die Wohnung ist außerdem sehr geräumig, sauber und gut eingerichtet mit kompletter Küche und Waschmaschine. Für Alleinreisende ist die Wohnung relativ teuer, aber das macht natürlich Sinn, weil sie für mindestens zwei Personen ausgelegt ist. Dass der Schlüssel an der Tür befestigt ist und man jedes Mal den Code eingeben muss, ist auch ein bisschen nervig, aber man gewöhnt sich dran.

- Andrew (2/5): Disappointing experience - Quite close to the station and good neighbourhood The check in is like solving a puzzle. There are too complicated especially if you come from a long trip at night and nobody there to help you. The drain on the shower blocked. Nobody there to help you. Have to communicate through email. We did not shower for 1 night. After that, the management ask us to check and clean the drainage ourselves. I really don't want to do this on my holiday. I can do this for free at home. So don't expect any service. Good luck and hopefully all the equipment works out. We order 4 people. 2 of us had to sleep on a futon bed. I don't think that is a futon. One is just like a thick blanket and the other one is a very thin sponge sheet. How can you expect people to sleep on that. It's like an emergency bed or something. We spend like 5 or 6 days, but they only give is each 1 tiny bottle of soap shampoo and conditioner. How can you shower with that amount? The location of the hotel is just next to a highway. You know in Tokyo the highway is above ground and just next to your ear. So don't expect to have a good night sleep either.
- Carlos (3/5): Noisy - The location was a bit far from downtown, but close enough so that we could get away from the chaos of all those people, which was nice. The windows gave a nasty chill during the nights and let in every sound from the motorway right outside! Trying to get a good night's sleep in all that noise was an ordeal, and sitting at the tiny table beside the window for any purpose, was cold (even though it was warm outside)! Also, I'd like the owners to remove our images captured by the Ring-style doorbell (something we know they don't usually bother with, as we could see the faces of other guests when we were trying to find a way to remove ours!!!). This total invasion of privacy kind of made us feel dirty. Oh, and I absolutely must point out how stupidly difficult it was to get in! The number we rang only gave us the option to press numbers (yes, one of those detestable, thoroughly useless things most businesses and public services have nowadays), while the instructions were thoroughly unclear (albeit, this may have been down to an automatic translation). Honestly: had someone else not let us into the building and shown us how to open the main door, we could've been stuck in the tiny lobby all night! Lastly, the automatic voice from the bathroom whenever we used a tap anywhere in the flat (even the kitchen) was annoying; the fact that it says the same thing, at the same volume in the middle of the night whenever someone washed hands after the toilet, was ridiculous.
- 인애 (4/5): 나쁘진 않았지만 ... - 이케부쿠로 역에서 도보 15분 거리! 매일 걸어다니디보니 좀 멀다 싶지만 평소 많이 걸어다니는 사람에겐 괜찮은 거리입니다 ㅎㅎ 주위에 편의점, 마트, 음식점이 있어 야식, 아침 먹기 좋아요. 사장님 친절하고 응답 아주 빠르심 위생상태가.. 너무... 이불 정말 너무 더러웠어요. 이불에 누런자국, 코딱지(?) 붙어있음 창문이 커서 환기시키긴 좋았지만 밤에 추움. 사진에 나온것보다 좁음. 두명 이상은 절대 무리!

- Brandão (9/5): Estadia ótima, apartamento bem localizado, acesso para a estação de Ikebukuru fácil, não muito longe - O apartamento é novo, bem equipado, bom espaço interior e muito agradável para passar uma boa estadia em Toquio Próxima do Don Quijote (100 m) e a 1Km da estação de Ikebukuru, que se faz facilmente em 15 minutos. Recomendo. Mesa com apenas duas cadeiras e o apartamento é para três ou quatro pessoas, não havendo acomodação para todos; não há sofá, o que poderia resolver a situação, principalmente se fosse sofá-cama, seria ótimo. A televisão só acede a `Prime" e não há programação local.

- Inna (8/5): All in all good value for money and quite comfortable stay. - Comfortable for 2 people, good bathroom with washing machine, separate toilet, basic kitchen equipment and cutlery Early checkout time (10.00) with no option of staying later, unclear checkout process. Also issues with the garbage - if you stay longer than 3-4 days, you need to collect it and put in the storage downstairs, which was locked. No cleaning during the whole stay, and not very clean when we arrived.

- Wong (7/5): Good place to stay for family - The location is great as it is near Donki and we can park over there. The apartment is quiet if all the windows are closed. We like it having a washer that we could do laundry. We bought our own laundry detergent. But we hope to have more clothes hangers. We were given 4 sets of shampoo and toothbrushes. We hope to have more toilet paper because there is only 1 roll and we stayed for 4 days with 4 people. The kitchen is clean and easy to use. It has cups, plates, bowls, utensils, but no kitchen towel. It also has dish detergent, a vacuum and a toilet brush for cleaning. Overall, it's great for family vacation. The wifi is weak. No slippers were provided. The balcony is dusty. We spent a while cleaning it so that we could hang out wet clothes. The lockbox is not easy to use. It failed to operate during our check-in, and we were frustrated at the front door trying to figure out how to make a phone call to connect with the host. Luckily, we reached the host through the chat, and the host responded within a reasonable timeframe. The lockbox was low in battery when we checked out and it didn't open. We had to connect with the host again. I hope the lock box is easier to use.

- Leonard (3/5): Disappointing - There weren't enough sheets to cover the gross stained bedding. Had to improvise as a solution wasn't forthcoming despite many emails back and forth. A real let down and will think twice about renting a place that can't respond to requests easily. Empty toilet roll left in bathroom, so that if we'd run out, there wouldn't have been a spare. Stains on seats and bedding as mentioned before. Communication was difficult and in the end ineffective.

- Kira (6/5): The place was ok if you want to save money. But it's pretty far from metro station (18minutes), and no cleaning supp - The property was a decent size, we were able to fit 3 people. The check in/out instructions were clear and easy to follow. As the place is considered as an apartment, it would be good to store some goods that travelers can be using like: coffee/tea bags, additional toilet paper, small detergent for washing machine, mop and broom. Also, the apartment vents were pretty dusty.

The location was perfect being in a not so crowded area but still close to public transportation. The size of the apartment was perfect for two people with big luggage. The air conditioning in the bedroom made dripping noises when it was turned off, and there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway of the building. Basic supplies like toilet paper and laundry detergent were insufficient, and there was a lack of storage (no dresser) and kitchen equipment, with only one knife available. The apartment was a bit noisy due to its location on a busy street, and the bright lighting with no dimming options in both living and bedroom were at times uncomfortable.

For 8 days stay, only 2 long and shirt towels. Reject a request of extra towel. All of cups, bowls and dishes are plastic. No Iron and iron board.

- Lucille (6/5): Good price for Tokyo if you're willing to sacrifice some comfort - It's a bit of a walk (10-15 minutes) from the main Ikebukuro station but in a quite nice and easily accessible area. The facilities are quite new and modern. We didn't notice any noise issues which some of the previous reviewers mentioned. The way to get the keys is a bit more complicated than your average stay but the instructions were quite detailed so we didn't think of this as an issue. Having a vacuum cleaner in the apartment is very convenient if you're here for a longer stay. Immediately after entering the building there was quite a strong sewer smell. Which is passable on its own, but in our apartment the entire shower room area had the same, extremely unpleasant smell. It seemed to be coming from the piping connected to the washing machine (everything else was clean inside the drum), so unfortunately we were not able to use it. The third person in the apartment has to sleep on the floor in the kitchen moving the furniture around so that's not very comfortable.
- Minkair (6/5): OK for one night as a last resort. Unpleasant location. - The spa-style bath. Dark streets around the vicinity of the apartment. A reasonably long walk from Ikebukuro Station and scant restaurants in the area. The ground floor & lift in the complex was run down and had a bad, dank smell. The plastic cups and glasses provided by host kitchen added to the dismal location of the place. Not a family friendly area. It was difficult to work out the hot water, no instructions provided.

Apartment was for 3 but there were only two very wobbly chairs (we barely dare sit on them!). Kitchen could have done with a few more cooking items (there were two hotplates but only one pan). I did not realise we would be next to such a major road and, despite double glazing, it was very loud all night.

- Uldana (6/5): Ikebukuro was nice, lots of restaurants, shops nearby - Good apartment at Ikebukuro, nearby lots of restaurants, shops, very lively region, has its own kitchen and basically everything you need, self check in and check out 1)Too far from the subway, around 30-40min, if you walk fast maybe 20min, but if you’re carrying a baggage or you’re travelling with a children I would not recommend this place, mainly reason if very far from the subway 2)Check in is very late, when we asked if we could check in for an hour earlier, they said No, because cleaning takes time, but when we checked in around 9pm, apartment was soooo dirty, I mean the beds were done, no trash, but everywhere were hair and floor was so dusty, it was disgusting, I had to wash the floors before we put our luggage. While we were staying the sink was clogged, which was very annoying

There’s a dryer in the bathroom. The length of the walk to Ikebukuro station was different from what’s written. It took 17 minutes although I walk fast whereas it’s written 12 minutes. The system to get the keys were complicated. I found hairs in the living room, bedroom and the bathroom. The noise of the traffic from the highway just underneath was sometimes intolerable.
