• Mark (9/5): A comfortable, spacious and very well presented property for a family. - The property was very clean and nicely presented. It was very spacious for our family of 4 and extremely comfortable. Everything that we needed was available at the property. There were some additional touches that really make a difference. No downside to this property. We very much recommend it as an ideal place to stay if you value space, comfort and meticulous cleaning.

• Allison (10/5): Just book it! You won’t regret it! - Great location, clean and spacious and incredibly well stocked with everything you could need. We were even greeted with a fresh carton of milk, margarine, cereal and some biscuits on arrival which was so nice and practical. The owners were very welcoming. There was no shortage of entertainment from Netflix to DVD’s to books and games. One of the best accomodations we have stayed in. Highly recommend!

• Rachel (9/5): Home away from home - Surfmist was clean & homely. Very comfortable and spacious for a family of 5. Plenty of TVs for everyone's enjoyment. Choice of quiet spaces for relaxation (lounging indoors or verandah & balcony outdoors), close to beach, sceanic walks & playground plus all amenities available that a family would need. I also really appreciated the fresh & alternative milk provided and my children enjoyed the complimentary treats :-)

• Jiatong (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Marie and Troy are fantastic hosts — very kind, responsive, and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself is exactly as described, and even better in person. It was fully equipped with all the essentials (and more!), making it a true home away from home. The space is cozy, clean, and perfectly set up for a relaxing vacation. The location is excellent. it is just a short walk to the beach, and we especially loved the beach in The Little Lake Park. it is perfect for our young child to play safely in the water. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, convenient, and family-friendly stay. We would love to return in the future!

• The Baron Von Fury (10/5): Clean and beautifully furnishsd 3 bedroom place - Super clean, beaitifully furnished, tidy place. Good parking space. Clear instructions from host on check in. Aircon system and hot water is good. Toilet had amenities and toiletries provided.

• Kimberly (10/5): A MUST STAY. 5* Accommodation with thoughtful touches - Marie and Troy have made their property exceptional with amazing attention to detail. Every need was catered for. My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay - just wasn’t long enough.

The apartment was super clean, beautifully presented, spacious. It is a short walk to Blacks Beach and a nice walking path along Warilla Beach. The Warilla Bowls & Rec Club provides dining options within easy walking distance. Nothing. We were a couple but if the apartment was shared by two or three couples, we should point out there is only one toilet which is separate from the bathroom facilities.

• Paula (10/5): Very Comfortable and suited our needs just perfect - The location was perfect for our needs. It was very comfortable and pleasant. Everything that could be provided was, including extra items for 6 plus guests. The only thing I would suggest would be some form of heating/cooling in the downstairs kitchen area as this was quite cold on our stay which was at the end of June. Everything else was perfect.

The place is impeccable, has everything you need and there are extra things a person tends to forget to pack. We loved the biscuits provided as a welcome gift. Communication is great, check in and check out was easy. We were down for a funeral, so spirits were not in the best of places, but staying at surfmist barrack point made our trip so much easier. Location is great too. I have no negative comments about the property.

• Anne (9/5): Lovely house in a stunning town. - This was truly a home away from home. Everything you could need was there, including plenty of bath towels, tea and coffee and even a few snacks. The surrounding area is stunning and the beaches are exceptional. It was perfect for our family of four for a short stay. The host even installed a new oven and stovetop when I enquired about it prior to our stay! The dishwasher was out of order when we visited but that wasn't a big deal as we mostly ate out.

It is so close to the beaches so once you park the car you can walk there. The accommodation was perfect for our family plenty of room for everyone and the board games provided were great touch as well. Marie and Troy have done a wonderful job providing everything you could possibly need when staying at Surfmist. We loved everything.

The place was very neat and tidy. Spacious, modern and comfortable. Only having 1 toilet and one bathroom between a family of 5 had its challenges

The accomodation is joined to the owner’s house which would have been fine and you probably wouldn’t have noticed them there if they hadn’t been out in the driveway/garage at the accommodation front door the entire stay. We found it a bit of invasion of privacy and felt we couldn’t really relax and enjoy the accommodation. We stayed as a family and found we had to keep really quiet, so we just went out as much as we could. We understand a lot of people run accommodation like this in dual occupancy properties, but maybe wash your car and clean out your garage through the week when you don’t have guests staying.

Excellent walking/biking paths in the area. Close to beach and little lake has safe swimming and grass picnic area. Squeaky clean, beautiful soft linen on beds, nice quality towels. Couldn't fault anything. Best of all were our hosts who were friendly and accommodating for a late checkout to suit our needs and this was greatly appreciated.
