• paul (6/5): - Vriendelijk onthaal. We werden niet geïnformeerd dat het restaurant gesloten was, dus moesten we de taxi nemen terug naar het centrum, waar we als wandelaars vanaf kwamen.

• Richard (8/5): Excellent value stay in A Rua for the travelling motorist. - Great location if you are travelling by car or motorcycle, excellent views over A Rua and environs, secure private parking (there was a garage option available for my motorcycle), Friendly staff, town centre is walkable in around 20 minutes. Clean rooms with everything needed. Good value price. Breakfast fairly minimal, but included in the price. Note the hotel restaurant was temporarily closed for refurbishment, so once back in full operation this will probably be better.
• Mario (6/5): Acorde precio y lugar. - La tranquilidad del lugar donde está, apartado del pueblo. El personal muy amable, y tanto la habitación como el baño muy limpios. No había personal por las mañanas. Tampoco para tomar café, justo estaban en obras en la zona cafetería.

• Luis Miguel (8/5): Hotel muy limpio, amplio y luminoso en zona muy tranquila - Habitación muy limpia, amplia y luminosa Ubicación es muy tranquila, pero obliga a disponer de vehículo o moverte en taxi para bajar al pueblo para cenar o comprar algo si el restaurante no está abierto (como fue el caso el día que estuve)
• Alan George Stanley (7/5): Ok place if travelling on the Camino, Clean overall. Hot water, good bathroom. - Location was good for anyone in the Camino; room was clean. Appeared a bit run down, no restaurant, and 1.4 km total walk to town for eating/groceries.

• Leticia (10/5): Repetiríamos seguro - Me gustó la ubicación , el paisaje , que la habitación fuera amplia y caliente . Todo estaba limpio , la cama super cómoda y la facilidad de llegar a mi habitación . La única pega que pondría sería que me tocó una habitación donde la televisión no tenía mando entonces teníamos que levantarnos a cambiar y apagar la tele .
• Victoria (10/5): muy bien! :) - En general las instalaciones muy bien, destaco la amabilidad y profesionalidad de la chica de recepción y la tranquilidad. La verdad, muy bien. por poner algo, mejoraria un poco el colchón de la cama, porque a mi me gustan los colchones muy firmes, pero esto es una opción muy personal. La cama es cómoda.
• Filipa (10/5): - Um sítio ótimo para relaxar, isolado, boa vista e asseado! Pequeno-almoço muito bom! Staff extremamente atencioso e completamente de confiança! Esqueci-me da carteira no hotel na sala do pequeno-almoço, guaradam-me a carteira em segurança o dia inteiro e quando a fui buscar tinha tudo o que tinha lá deixado! Muito obrigada mais uma vez ao staff, 5 estrelas!

• Jade (5/5): - El alojamiento está aceptable para pasar dos noches No nos hicieron la habitación, por lo tanto el segundo día no tuvimos toallas secas, ni jabón. Las toallas de baño no secaban. Tuvimos que avisar la hora de llegada para poder hacer el check-in y a partir de ahí, no vimos a nadie en recepción en ningún momento de los dos días.

Este verano me he gastado más de 1.500 euros con vosotros. Serán los últimos, sino me devolveis lo hablado con atención al cliente

• Nigel (6/5): Pleasant - Host was brilliant turned up at 19:00 opened the bar and restaurant and cooked us a nice mesl Arrived doors were locked. No manned reception as advertised. Had to phone the owner for details of how to access our room.

• Anthony (10/5): Absolute hero staff saves the day. - We arrived in the middle of the April 2025 country wide power cut. We were on a cycle tour and our train was cancelled leaving us stranded without food or water. We managed to book Hotel Berna and, with some assistance from a friend, a hero arrived to check us in. Somehow he cooked us a banging meal, gave us water and saved us. As a property it’s what you’d expect for the price, but the location and views are outstanding.

• Adrian (10/5): Great host, good for Camino, comfortable & good value - Great location for the Camino Invierno. Telephone/send a message with eta - reception is not always staffed. The member of staff, Javier, was exceptional- he arrived very quickly / saw me to my room and said that he would have food prepared for when I showered. It was amazing - Galician soup, mixed salad, steak and chips and custard desert - with drinks was 15 euros. He said he’d reach out breakfast for me to have anytime after 6am. Fruit, mini croissants & coffee - brilliant Nothing
• Steven (9/5): Was only guest, understand why there’d be no open restaurant but be good to know before booking. - Excellent rooms, clean and up to date. Management was very kind and left breakfast and coffee for me before my Camino walking day. Just a notice to other Camino walkers, hotel is 25 minutes of walking outside of town. The hotel gave no notice on Booking.com that no restaurant service was available in the evening. Beyond that - excellent facilities.
