• Victor (10/5): Would stay again as this was our number 1 spot during 3 weeks in Tassie. - Location and serenity. Great spot to relax and do very little as we required or do lots if you are young and invincible.

Cleanliness, toilet seat was yellow and peeling, whole toilet moved when used and room smelt like a urinal. Shower didn't drain so was standing in water while showering. Mould in shower and bathroom doors. Slow TV.
• Philippa (9/5): I'll be back! - Location was exceptional! House was very clean and welcoming. Well equipped with essentially all we could need. There was nothing really that I didn't like. The only 'negative' from my point of view would be to say that the bed was a little too firm for me, but that's a personal preference.

• Michaela (10/5): - Trotz kurzfristiger Anmietung und meiner fehlender Erreichbarkeit kurz vor der Anreise lief der check-in ohne Probleme. Der Code und der Ablauf wurden mir auf Anfrage wenige Stunden nach der Anmietung übermittelt, so dass ich sie ausdrucken konnte vor Abreise. Auch wenn ich noch nie volle Beleuchtung zum Betreten einer Unterkunft benötigt habe, war es so schön bei meiner Ankunft am späten Nachmittag im Winter nicht im schummigren Halbdunkeln herumstolpern zu müssen und von einem vorgeheizten Wohnzimmer empfangen zu werden. Auf dem Esstisch lag dann noch ein Willkommensgruß und Äpfel und Schokolade. Dazu dann dieser Blick, der einem drinnen das Gefühl vermittelte auf dem Wasser zu sein. Einfach nur dort zu sitzen war selbst bei Regen fantastisch. Die Sonnenaufgänge sind ein Traum, da die Unterkunft nach Osten hinaus diese riesigen Fenster zur Bucht hat. Aus denen konnte ich an meinem zeiten Morgen den Delphinen zusehen bei ihren Sprüngen durch die Bucht. Wer kochen mag: die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Außerdem hat die Dusche einen guten Wasserdruck und Temperatur. Das Bett war okay und man sieht aus beiden Schlafzimmern das Wasser. Es gibt Dinge, die man wissen sollte, bevor man diese traumhafte Unterkunft mietet. Mit Freunden verreisend hätte ich das Bad als nicht ideal empfunden. Zu einem der schlafzimmer gibt es nur eine Schiebetür, aber will man nachts die Leute aus dem anderen Schlafzimmer so nah an sich haben? Die Toilette ist zwar separat in einem eigenen Raum, aber sie hat kein eigenes Waschbecken. Man müsste dann also zum Hände waschen in die Küche, wenn man Privatsphäre gewähren möchte. Für die Aurora ist der Ort nicht geeignet, da der Fischfang in der Bucht zu einer hohen Lichtverschmutzung sorgt. Manchmal blenden einen die Lichter der Fischerboote in der Nacht sogar. Was tagsüber für die schöne Aussicht sorgt, macht die Unterkunft dann sehr einsehbar. Außerdem ist die Südspitze der Insel nicht unbedingt der beste Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, wobei der Fahrt jedoch immer wieder etwas anders und wunderschön ist.

• Raymond (9/5): We stayed in half a dozen locations around Tassie this holiday and Tides Reach was the best! - Breathtaking Location!!! Excellent facilities provided. Instant response from the staff when we needed assistance with the TV and the bathroom. TV reception is very poor. No issue during the day as the view outside is all you need. However in a very quiet location at night, it becomes more important. Also the toilet needed a little TLC and did not flush properly. But these were very minor issues.

• Susan (9/5): Lovely house right on the beach, well worth a longer stay - Very large and comfortable accommodation with a beautiful view. Completely clean on arrival. Everything there to cook and stay for a much longer visit than we had. The view is as good as the pictures. Dark and cold on arrival. There was a With Compliments note in a fruit bowl but no fruit or anything else left. Grass is not green like the pictures. The gate cannot be closed because the fence is falling over - maintenance needed.

We managed to lock ourselves out at 8pm, but I got in touch with Tina who arrived promptly to let us in. We would have been very cold sleeping on the deck. Thank you so much Tina. It's a long way from any shops or dining facilities, but we knew that and brought provisions with us. You can't have such a quiet, peaceful place on the beach in the middle of town! Nothing

• Robert (10/5): Fabulous location, right on the beach edge with everything you need for your stay. - The location was superb and the view fantastic, right on the beach edge. Cottage had 2 bedrooms; with all the facilities you'd need for an extended stay. Very spacious in the lounge / dining area with a full-sized dining table. Really quiet and peaceful area. Shops not too far away if you need supplies.

• Robin (10/5): The most perfect spot to stay in Dover. - Absolute beach front. We swam, fished and walked just by stepping off the balcony. The property was very comfortable and well equiped and the communication both before and after was excellent. Just one bathroom was a compromise

Not provided! more soft furnishings to reduce echo which made hearing difficult for those wearing hearing aids (me). Extremely noisy as a result. The only downside for us. We were surprised that no allowance is made for disabled/infirm people. EG hand rails in shower and on front steps.
