• Alexandra (7/5): Would have been 10/10 if it was cleaned properly - The property is in a great location, only a 10 minute walk away from central station, the pool was fantastic the kids loved it, the room was a good size, plenty of space for the family and a great view from the balcony Unfortunately the room was not very clean at all, the space as tidy but the surfaces were dirty and there was a lot of mold on the bathrooms especially the showers and in the washing machine. I had to buy washing machine cleaner and give it a very good clean before it could be used. A lot of built up dust and just grime all throughout the apartment

The apartment suited our needs for the weekend but could do with some TLC. One of the lounge chairs has a broken leg - white chair. The microwave is quite low.

• David (7/5): Overall good for the price. - Good location. The room was comfortable and the pool was great. It is a cheaper price, so I expected it to be a little dated. However, the couch had multiple stains, most dishes were dirty, which was probably caused by the dishwasher not working properly because it had things stuck in the sprayer arms. The air conditioner was also very noisy.

• Pauline (7/5): It was okay - The location to the city and to public transport was great. The ceilings had bugs, which had not been cleaned for each visit. Please ask your cleaners to look up as well as down. The bedsheets on one of the single beds had blood stains and when we asked for it to be removed, we got sheets delivered but the bed was not remade. It was a bit disappointing!

• Hollands (3/5): Unsatisfied not clean and waste of money - Nothing much only that it was located above Woolworths and swimming pool and gym was good The white blanket was stained didn’t feel clean they should of had bed covers but just left the white stained inner like that the queen size and single size as well the fridge had lots of dust on top of the fridge the vacuum didn’t work it smelt very bad when we arrived to the apartment and had to air it out and pray perfume the shower had black mould they didn’t clean it properly

Woolworths,Sushi,Pharmacy,Bottleshop literally along the same building. This was the best place to stay if you need convenience. The train station is less than 10min walk. The nearest bus station is across the road. The apartments are literally next to the Cathedral Square. Walk across the park and you are in the City Centre. The receptionist was fantastic and so friendly and polite. Customer service was excellent. Very responsive to requests. We had an issue with dining chairs and within 2 hours on a Saturday we had new chairs delivered. New cushions. The beds are comfortable. We have a 14 & 9 yr old,shared 1 bedroom (2 single beds). Their room appeared to be very sound proof. Air-conditioned. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. There is a dryer and washing machine . Clothes airer on the balcony with pegs provided. We were on the 19th floor with amazing views. From experience, management and admin are very responsive. If you have a concern or something requiring attention, they are always available via phone if outside business hours. And actually actively tend to whatever your concern/need. The reception was manned during normal business hours too. Like any other place in the city,we could hear some traffic like emergency sirens but other than that,it was fairly quiet. Our kids could not hear what we heard from our bedroom and that is an added bonus if you have young kids. They slept very well conformably. The pool and jacuzzi (spa) was amazing. Loved the showers at the pool too. Absolutely classy there. The apartments are owned by different individuals, so obviously they are not all the same . If you read negative reviews about someone's experience, they may have been in that one apartment that is likely to be not the same as what you will be in and they possibly didn't bring the issue to the attention of management. Not much...what we needed rectified was attended to immediately. I didnt like that we had to leave and go back to reality.

• Eric (7/5): Cheap stay and Great location - Location was perfect just walking distance to the river, restaurants and shops. Bed was a bit hard and pillows underperformed, there was also a bad smell in one of the bathrooms which was solved by leaving the exhaust fan on.

I would not recommend this if you’re after cleanliness and comfort. - Nothing besides the location being convenient enough to walk to most places we wanted to visit. The communication from the reception staff was also good via booking.com as we had to pick up a key after hours from the safe. We checked in after hours and immediately walking into our apartment saw 2 cockroaches the size of a chicken nugget run in the kitchen! We couldn’t do much as it was after hours but spoke to reception who relocated us to another room in the morning. The receptionist clarified she had checked the room prior to ensure it was fine however we found stains on the dining chairs, mold clearly on the shower doors, dirty floors and a strong stench on the level we were on. The bedrooms in our old and new room had lamps with no wall plugs on one side of the bed? Furniture was outdated and dust was quite noticeable on all the furniture. Mold frequent throughout apartment - whilst I can understand this due to the climate in Brisbane I also feel like it should be treated accordingly??Considering it was not a cheap stay - we also paid extra for a parking spot. Food remains on dining table placemats. The bathrooms smelt like sewerage - on and off and no exhaust fans in either bathrooms. We also did not have any AC in our bedrooms and only living rooms whilst our friends who stayed here at the same time did have AC in the bedrooms. All the bedroom carpets, walls and the apartment in general had stains. It did not feel like it was thoroughly cleaned prior - more like just a quick change over in changing sheets and that was it? Lights didn’t work on our balcony and one of the living room lights - luckily there’s a few lights throughout in the kitchen etc so we had a source of light. I walked around on the carpet inside the apartment with white socks and they were grossly grey after a few hours of doing so.

• Anastasia (6/5): Good location and nice view but very dirty - It was in a good position in the city with equal and close distance in most well known locations. The apartment was big that can fit even a 4 member family with a balcony that had a very nice view. It was not clean and the bathrooms dirty. There was rice on the counter in the kitchen most probably by the previous renters. The bathrooms were dirty and you can tell that were not cleaned ( the bathtub glasses were white from the Kalks of the water, the washing machine stinked and you could see black mold stuff on the door's rubber and down on the bathtub's where the glass joins). There was an awful noise coming from the back of the bedroom's air condition without operating it at all. We had to shutdown the fuse on the electrical board in order to stop the noise as we couldn't sleep. This is something that was reported previously in the reception but they didn't mention anything but acknowledged it afterwards when we reported it. The couch on the living room had stains and dirt that made us to avoid sitting on it while the chair was teared like a dog had it ripped it apart. The dryer is so old that makes so terrible noise while operating that we thought it will break down and certainly not so friendly with the clothes as it ruined some of them.

The convenience of a supermarket and other shops was a bonus. Very minor things. The couch was very stained, and there was not enough cutlery for the five of us.
