• Alexandra (10/5): Séjour parfait du début à la final - Irin a été très réactive lors de nos conversations même si elle n'est pas sur place. Tout s'est très bien passé depuis l'aeroport jusqu'à la fin de mon séjour. De plus, tout était très pro lorsque Reinaldo qui m'a accueilli à l'aéroport et Mirabel qui m'a donné les clef de l'appartement. La literie est très confortable, il y a tous les équipements pour cuisiner et un lave linge. L'appartement est situé à 5 min à pied de la magnifique plage Praia de Lahinga et 15 min à pied du centre. 😁 Nada. J'espère pouvoir revenir un jour avec ma famille... only GOD knows!

• Peter (1/5): Don't go there - Beira-Mar canceled our stay as we were on our way. The booking was made and confirmed month ahead of this. We never had an experience like this before.

• Joos (9/5): Prachtige apartement voor lage prijs! - Goed uitgeruste keuken, grote ruimtes, mooie badkamer, mooi ingericht. Goede wifi, prima locatie dichtbij het strand. De kussens vielen enigszins tegen, maar we hebben ze verwisseld voor bankkussens en dat was helemaal prima! Ik zou het er niet voor laten in ieder geval.

• Angela (9/5): Superb - The host, Irina, is wonderful. The airline lost my luggage and she (and the taxi driver she can schedule for you, Reinoldo) went above and beyond helping me to receive it the next day. The apartments are very clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There is reliable hot water (if not, hit the small button on the plug for the water heater so that both red and blue lights are on). The neighborhood is a small walk from town and the port, but located close to the beach and in a quiet neighborhood. There is no AC so it may be warm in the hotter months.

Good little mini supermarket 1 minute walk. Beach and beach bar, restaurant 4-5 minutes walk. About 20-25 minute walk to city centre. An easy walk or 2 euros by taxi. Quite a new building. Stairs only. We stayed here twice in two different apartment units. Nothing

• Agnieszka (10/5): Lovely place in Mindelo, near the beach - Amazing property and location, quiet spot but very modern building, feels quite European. The flat is perfectly equipped, with everything you could possibly want in the kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, new mattresses. Bathroom is very clean, excellent shower, with great hot water, and a hairdryer provided. I personally really loved having a decent sized fridge, coffee machine, and a hob, so I could prepare my own meals. The owner was amazing too, available on WhatsApp almost 24/7, very quick to respond. She kindly organised to collect our payment and ordered a taxi to the airport at the end of our stay. She spoke great English too, so we had no trouble communicating. We specifically requested to have 2 separate beds and 2 sets of bedding, and reminded about it twice, but there was still only one double bed prepared for us. Not a problem though - someone had separated the beds and provided extra bedding within hours of asking, before our first night, so there were no issues after all.
• Derk (10/5): Comfortable, clean, modern and pleasant - The location is very good, near the beach, a decent mini supermarket and some restaurants. It is of the right size and efficiently laid out. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedroom has a bed of proper size and the bed has a sturdy mattras. (which we like) The bathroom is spacy with a nice shower. Coffee and thea are provided. Services are well organized. Maribel, who is responsible for cleaning is around all day and very friendly. Irina is managing everything from a distance but is quick to react. Reinaldo is a nice and honest taxi driver, so ask for him Nothing really. But knowing the area from a previous stay there, we had no problem in finding the apartment, but feel that a sign indicating "Beira Mar apartments" might be useful.

• Mikko (9/5): Lovely apartment - Great, modern apartment close to the beach, restaurants and minimarket. Helpful host. Fully equipped kitchen. General water outage was unfortunate, but staff brought us plenty of bottled tap water to shower and did their best to fix the outage.
• Marika (10/5): Clean and modern. - The place was very clean, modern and comfortable. Probably the nicest place we’ve stayed at during our travels in Cape Verde. There was coffee, tea and water to welcome us. Irina was easily reachable via WhatsApp and sent a very nice driver for us to the airport who then became our tour guide for a day.

• Agelink (8/5): Very good - The appartment was 2 minutes walking from the beach and close to restaurants. The apartment is a neighborhood that is quite new and still under construction. If you sleep with an open window - you might hear the noises from a construction site.

Vicente - The apartment was brand new and in a very good location, 2min walking distance to Laginha beach and many amenities around(supermarket, restaurants,close to bus stop) . Irina was very responsive and always managed to help us on any situation. Internet connection was ok to work. The flat was very clean and there is cleaning 1 day per week. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone.

The neighborhood where the apartment is located is also very calm, there is a grocery store very close by and Laginha beach is a few minutes walk away. During my stay, the host, Irina, sent me an email asking if everything was okay and if anything else was needed, like cleaned towels. She was very helpful. I would just give a few suggestions: - have a kettle and a toaster for quick breakfast; - clean the fans a bit better; they are very useful in the hot days/nights of São Vicente.
