• Gisella (5/5): Valoración hotel campestre arenal - Lugar tranquilo En nuestro caso, la cisterna del baño no funcionaba, había que estar sacando la tapa para ajustarla cada vez. Los colchones de la litera eran muy incómodos. Para regular el agua caliente de la ducha esta muy alto y no todos pueden llegar. El lugar del desayuno es al aire libre, y en las sillas habían telas de araña. Pocas opciones de desayuno.

Creo que con poco se podría renovar/equipar un poco mejor. Si se ofrece cocina es necesario tener más utensilios, etc. Y solo hay sitio para dos personas para comer, siendo la habitación para 5 personas.

• Henk (8/5): Rustige locatie - Kleinschalig complex buiten het centrum. Mooie ruime tuin met een klein zwembad. Bij goed weer mooi uitzicht op de vulkaan. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prima ontbijt, keuze uit typisch costaricaans of standaard ontbijt. Wordt ter plekke klaar gemaakt en geserveerd in de tuin. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Er is (wat) achterstallig onderhoud. Keuken interieur/inventaris is mengelmoes en beperkt.
• Ralf (8/5): Ganz okay für den Preis, aber zu viel Lärm in der Nacht - Der Gastgeber Hugo ist super freundlich und ist ein absoluter Faun und Flora Fan, der schafft, viele Tropenvögel in seinen Garten zu locken, jeden Morgen erzählte er Details von den Blumen und den Tieren den seinem Garten sich niederlassen. Ansonsten ist es ganz praktisch dass es eine Gemeinschaftsküche gibt die auch grundsätzlich mal sauber war . Und natürlich ist der Pool sehr schön, da gibt es keinen Zweifel der Garten selbst ist ein absoluter Traum . Der Gastgeber Hugo war so freundlich, dass man eigentlich gar keine schlechten Dinge erwähnen sollte. Aber da es doch einige Dinge gab und störten, muss man diese aussprechen, ansonsten gelten diese Dinge als normal. Die Wände der Zimmer gehören einfach mal grund gereinigt, ein bisschen Farbe würde auch nicht schaden, ich weiß dass man in den Tropen ab und zu mal Ungeziefer in den Zimmern hat, aber überall lagen Spinnweben etc. der Kühlschrank war oben seit Monaten definitiv nicht gereinigt worden, auch innen war nicht sauber das gehört nun mal dazu Dass man sich darum kümmert. Die bellenden Hunde in der Nacht sind wirklich absolut störend, kein ruhiger Schlaf möglich. Die krähenden Hähne hört man auch schon sehr laut. Das Frühstück war okay, aber da könnte man auch etwas mehr bieten .

El desayuno que incluye el valor de la habitación estába muy rico. Tiene una linda vista del volcán desde la piscina. El area de piscina era muy hermosa, Pero había cuitas de gallina y plumas . Estaría super bien tener más de cuidado con eso porque si es demasiado desagradable.

• Viktória Dragúňová (10/5): - Very nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 3 nights and did some excursions around the La Fortuna area - the hotel offers a lot of good tours with different packages for a reasonable price, however we have booked ours online because the only way to pay was by cash which we didn't have. There are few grocery stores about 5 - 15 minutes by walking from the hotel and you can buy everything you need for cooking in all of them. The kitchen was very clean and comfortable to cook in, also with a big fridge with lot of space. The area is very calm and quiet, with many birds and animals around. The walking distance between the hotel and the downtown is about 20 - 30 minutes, but there are some restaurants closer to the place about 10 minutes by walk. We recommend to try the Spectalocar restaurant and Chocolate Fusión café in the downtown. We really enjoyed these two but of course there are many good places to eat in La Fortuna. We really liked our stay and we would definitely come back again.

• Justin (7/5): - Het geheel is een beetje vergane glorie. We zaten in een 2 slaapkamer appartement. Kennelijk recht tegenover de receptie, dus veel mensen kwamen langs en de grote ramen gaven weinig privacy. De bedden waren ok, de airco was prima. Het keukentje had minimale inventaris. Je krijgt per persoon maar 1 handdoek, dus geen handdoek voor je handen of om af te drogen, maar misschien hadden we deze kunnen vragen. Het personeel is super aardig en behulpzaam, het ontbijt was lekker en genoeg. Het zwembad is een vierkante bak met water, maar dat was prima om even in af te koelen. De tuin is mooi met veel bomen. Er loopt ook een paard en wat kippen. Het hotel ligt in La Fortuna, buiten het centrum waardoor het wat rustiger ligt. Vlakbij is een supermarkt en wat we vooral aanbevelen is de panaderia epicos, waar ze heerlijke dingen hebben. We vonden de geur die af en toe van de kippenboerderij afkwam wel storend, vooral bij het zwembad en het restaurant ruik je dit.

• Vladimir (7/5): Cómodo y tranquilo - Los precios son aceptables para el tipo de habitación, el desayuno estuvo bien, una buena cantidad de café y de los productos a ser consumidos con el desayuno. Como recomendación, seria bueno colocar cintas antideslizantes en pisos resbalosos. En la habitación que usamos colocar algún tipo de gancho para colocar ropa o un ropero, donde se pueda extender la ropa a utilizar. Muy cerca del área de piscina y del comedor, hay un Gallinero, que por ocasiones llegaban los olores propios de está actividad productiva, creo conveniente, realizar la mitigación de estos olores, para no causar inconvenientes y también colocar una pantalla vegetal, que separe el área del hotel del gallinero.

• Nicole (7/5): Rundum gute Unterkunft - Die Zimmer waren sehr einfach und nur mit dem nötigsten ausgestattet. Beim Bett fehlte ein Bettpfosten. Das Personal hat sich aber sofort gekümmert und unser Bett ausgetauscht. Der Garten ist wirklich schön, es riecht nur gelegentlich nach Hühnerstall. Es gibt viele süße Katzen und Hunde. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und es gibt immer zwei verschiedene Optionen zwischen denen man wählen kann. Das Personal war super freundlich und sie haben uns immer weitergeholfen und viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben.

At the same time the exact room from the fotos was available and we ask if we could switch but it was told that other guest are coming. That was not the truth apparently because the room was empty the whole of our stay. I don’t like paying for something you don’t get at the end.

The management was wonderful... very nice, professional, responsive, communicative. Property location nice, quiet... at end of road. Enjoyed breakfast with coffee which was served on their comfortable patio. Recommend Hotel Campestre.

• Davidexplorer (10/5): Getaway to the forest - The garden view room was big and comfy, and with a nice and relaxing view of palms and other vegetation. The staff was kind. Breakfast was ok, nothing special or abundant but in line with other similar places we stayed. Location wise, it's far from the traffic, the only noise came from nature. It's a 25 minute walk into La Fortuna, we felt safe walking in the evening. Only negatives for us maybe the lack of hangers and the soap smelled like bubblegum

• Solano Dávila (9/5): Recomendada! - Me encantó la experiencia en este lugar. Los servicios, el alojamiento y la ubicación fueron excelentes. El lugar es limpio, bonito y bien mantenido. Además, pudimos ver muchas vaquitas cerca, lo que hizo la estadía aún más especial. Un punto a destacar es la amabilidad del personal, especialmente la chica que llevaba el desayuno a la mesa, quien fue muy servicial y atenta, y el desayuno muy rico la verdad. Sin duda, una experiencia que repetiría Nuestra experiencia en este lugar fue muy buena, ya que nos pareció ideal en términos de servicios, alojamiento y ubicación. El personal fue amable y atento, y el ambiente en general era limpio y agradable. Sin embargo, hay algunos detalles que podrían mejorar. El baño tenía un ligero problema de drenaje, el aire acondicionado presentó algunas fallas (aunque logramos resolverlo por nuestra cuenta, creemos que debería funcionar correctamente desde el inicio), y la piscina, en el momento en que la usamos, tenía muchas moscas muertas a pesar de estar en horario de uso. No solicitamos ayuda para estos inconvenientes, pero sería bueno estar atentos a estos aspectos para mejorar la experiencia de los huéspedes. Aun así, disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía y sin duda lo recomendaríamos.
