Guest Reviews
- Julie (7/5): Cute - Cute house in a quiet location on the edge of Marysville.
Big bathroom downstairs (including a claw foot bath), with a second toilet between the upstairs bedrooms. Narrow staircase and no doors on the bedrooms so lacks privacy.
- Guest (8/5): -
- Jacques (10/5): -
- Ashlee (5/5): It was ok for the price and location - Location size It’s was too dirty
- Osman (9/5): -
- Nada (8/5): Easy getaway - Good location, comfy mattresses, good for a small family getaway. It had a homey vibe, which was lovely. The shower was good. No WiFi, the single bed felt like it was going to fall apart, and the couch was old and significantly stained.
- Candice (8/5): - Great location The couch could use an upgrade, it's uncomfortable
- Josh (9/5): Overall comfortable stay. It was a thoughtful gesture that the heater was turned on when we arrived given it was a cold - Location was great Broken soap holder, sandy floors on arrival, minimal condiments / kitchen amenities provided
- Rahne (8/5): Very good -
- Melisa (7/5): Nice location but could do with more attention to detail. - Location was peaceful and close to everything. With tweaks has potential as a great place to stay. -No doors on bedrooms, we were travelling as two couples and could have done with more privacy. This isn’t mentioned on listing. Maybe swapping the single bed placement and Queen over would help.
-Cleaning could be done better. Floors were dirty, kitchen bench was dirty, fridge was dirty, bathroom needed a good clean, windows were also dirty and grounds needed mowing.
-No toiletries supplied and minimal toilet paper.
-Coffee machine was supplied but only two pods for 4 adults and there was a used pod in the canister. No other coffee option. No milk supplied.
-There was an outdoor table and chairs in garage but we had to get it out and set it up. Given that it was nice weather this is something we expected set up.
-We were required to put the wheelie bin out or would be charged $40, this is not usually a guests job. Fair enough take our rubbish to the bin.
- Having to take key back to office which was closed anyway rather than leave it in lock box where we found it was inconvenient.
- Oldham (10/5): Exceptional - Location and ease of access No soap
- Jacques (10/5): The accommodation was comfortable and clean. Also perfect location for the event we were attending. - It a perfect location for being close enough to the Marysville main street for our cycling event. Giro Della Donna.
- Lustig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Clean, warm & comfortable holiday villa. Quiet location on the edge of town. Short drive to Lake Mountain snowfields. Magnificent Stevenson's Falls just up the road. No doors between bedrooms upstairs.
Steps at front were slippery after snow and rain.
- Laura (8/5): Very good - Only thing is I would have liked travel sized shampoo/conditioner/soap
- Brooke (7/5): Cute cosy cottage - The cottage was good. Clean. Beds were comfortable and it suited the family. Cute little home away from home. No Doors on the bedrooms:with younger kids or a door would help reduce noise from tv down stairs.
Kitchen addition: a colander
- Chanaka (9/5): IT was very comfortable stay, Kids enjoyed the house and the comfort. Nice and warm. We will be back - The Condition of the House is excellent. We found everything that we needed for the two-night stay in the house. The amenities, Linen, Kitchen items, and, most of all, we felt very safe. There is nothing to mention.
- Robin (6/5): A beer from the balcony of Magpie Nest is time well spent - The location was in a quiet street with lots of native birds. There was plenty of off street parking as well as a lockable garage. The upstairs bedrooms had no doors and look directly into each other. It is not really sutiable for 2 couples as there is no privacy.
The stairs are very narrow. It is hard to get up and down with a suitcase.
- Audrey (10/5): Nice comfy and cosy getaway that is close to the town centre. - Great location, close to the town centre. Place is neat and tidy and well lit. Perhaps good to have extra chairs for the dining table. I booked for 5 people but there are only 4 dining chairs available.
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kelly (10/5): Beautiful location and comfortable stay - Close to everything Only thing I could pick on is the comfort of the couch and that’s just if I’m trying to find something
- Dexter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amber (10/5): Exceptional -
- Artyzz (10/5): Cosy and very warm home feeling. - The location of the house was great, easy to get to and from the shops. There was nothing we didn’t like about it.
