• Christopher (4/5): Rundown and dirty. - Location Rooms were dirty and run down, no air conditioning. The rooms smelled bad. Breakfast room , people who had eaten and left plates were still sat on the tables and were covered in flies. The bed and furniture was all falling apart or broken, dirty stains all over the walls, it had not been cleaned and had cobwebs in the corners of the room at floor level.. the floors had not been cleaned, near the fire place there was even ash and charcoal on the floor leftover from the previous tennants.
• Caroline (7/5): Took way too long to find the property, no signs, advertised as River House but actually managed by Linos Hotel. The pla - Perfect location, easy access to local amenities. All properties in this area are old, traditional mountain village houses and River House is no exception. However a modern new fully functional kitchen and bathroom is fitted in this property with a large fridge, wine cooler and big walk in shower. Both the sofa, bed and outdoor chairs are old and uncomfortable which made it very difficult to relax. Since the owner has invested in the installation of a modern new bathroom and kitchen, it just needs a little more inexpensive TLC to turn it into a perfect location. Simple additions like a kettle and toaster so you can make a morning brew, some cushions and more modern throw overs (and get rid of the drab ones that are there) a fresh lick of paint and styling and this place would be superb.
