• Grethekirstine (5/5): Overpriced - THE LOCATION Lobby and stairway were being repaired and was dark, had lose plank steps. The apartment itself was not like shown in the photos, it was dated and sparsely furnished with a 1960 style kitchen. The "dishwasher" was a sponge and a pump of liquid soap. The bathroom and large bedroom were ok and updated. The small bedroom was empty except for one small bed and a chair. The street outside was full of noisy people until 4am making it impossible to sleep.

• Arvutur (10/5): Ubicación de 10! Cómodo y limpio - Ubicación maravillosa , al lado de todo para ir a pie. Muy limpio y bien equipado . Baño reformado y muy bonito .Tubieron el detallazo de dejarme cafetera de cápsulas! Gracias Nada , la decoración algo anticuada pero el piso estaba perfecto .

• Virginia (9/5): Excelente lugar y ubicación!! - El departamento es grande, las áreas sociales son suficientemente espaciosas para familias, son dos habitaciones, una con cama doble, la otra con cama King, roperos espaciosos y sitios para colocar las cosas de viaje, la cocina bien equipada con lavadora de ropa, el baño también perfecto 👌, todo estuvo muy limpio y ordenado para nuestra llegada. La zona donde queda es perfecta, a media cuadra de la plaza de la Opera, donde había una feria navideña hermosa, y de donde salen las calles hacia el centro de Madrid, un sitio super tranquilo a pesar de estar en pleno centro, descansamos super bien! Nada, todo estuvo bien!

Instructions and communication need improving - Amazing location, close to metro station, short walk to the palace and every cultural key attractions Electricity power is too weak, the flat needs rewiring to prevent power outage. Simply put: electricity went off every time we used kettle. Instructions from host told us to leave clean dishes, stating that there is dishwasher so no reason to be lazy however there is no dishwasher. There is no instructions on how to turn on the gas stove and the host didn't reply to any of our messages afterwards asking on how to turn on stove/ fridge.
• Estrella (7/5): Falta de atención! - La ubicación es excelente. Si quieres estar cerca e ir caminando a varios lugares recomendados de Madrid, esta ubicación es excelente. No nos gustó no haber recibido respuestas por parte del personal, a excepción de la atención de Jessica que vino a abrir el patio para darnos una aspiradora y productos de limpieza y en ella la amabilidad fue evidente. Francamente, nos desconcertó no recibir respuesta a tiempo por parte del personal. A modo de ejemplo, la ropa de cama era insuficiente para 6 personas (pasamos un mensaje por WhatsApp el día que ingresamos) y nunca obtuvimos respuesta. El jueves pedimos aspiradora y paños y el sábado después del mediodía vino Jessica. Ese aspecto, el de notar el poco interés no nos agradó, nuestras experiencias con otros anfitriones en distintas partes del mundo han sido notables, esta ha sido la primera vez con una experiencia así.
• Maryuri Yarely (8/5): Tranquila y espaciosa. - Es bastante amplió, espacioso y acogedor. El balcón principal de la sala, que llama mucho la atención, tenía obstruido el espacio por el aparato de calefacción lo cual hace que no se vea tan bonito como en las fotos.

• Emmanuel (4/5): - El baño estaba bonito, la ubicación estaba bien, muy central y es para varias personas, pueden ir hasta 8 personas fácilmente ya que tiene dos camas y dos sofacamas. Todo lo demás, el apartamento no se parece para nada a las fotos, está muy mal distribuido, aunque dice que tiene 109mts² se ve muy pequeño; es un lugar muy viejo con muchos daños (humedad, problemas eléctricos, daños en los toma corrientes y suiches, entre otros); la limpieza era mala, había polvo en varias esquinas y la comunicación era muy mala, al punto que le pregunté a la encargada que se había papel higiénico (el cual nunca encontramos) y nunca me respondió. Además, por fuera el recibidor se encuentra en pésimas condiciones y las escaleras parecen que se van a caer, además una de las zonas de ingreso es muy solitaria, mal iluminada y puede dar un poco de miedo. En general hay muy poco acompañamiento por parte de los encargados del lugar a tal punto de ubicar las llaves para ingresar en un lugar muy poco confiable y absurdo.
• Amparo (10/5): - Está detrás del teatro Real, en pleno corazón de Madrid, aunque el portal está en obras, el piso está como nuevo, limpio, muy organizado y cómodo. Seguro que repetiremos, además ya lo estoy compartiendo con amigos para cuando vayan a Madrid.

Mi familia y yo quedamos a gusto y muy encantado del apartamento... 1000% recomendado.!! Todo estuvo genial, si es de señalar algo negativo sería el portal... Ya el mismo es anticuado y feo...

• Sriwong (7/5): Great location but could be better equipped - Great location. Spacious and clean. The check in process wasn’t very . Didn’t contact me on the day on WhatsApp regarding the check in time and where to collect the key. When I phoned the owner didn’t speak English. Kitchen - oven didn’t seem to work and there were no instructions available, no chopping boards, no tea towel for drying the dishes. The bedrooms, one wasn’t big enough for 2 people to share. No extra bed sheets or duvets for sleeping on the sofas. Pillows aren’t very comfortable, more like cushions than proper pillows. TV was tiny with no English speaking channels. No Netflix app as advertised.

• Liliana (8/5): Ubicación inmejorable - Ubicación Inmejorable, cerca de la plaza mayor y del palacio real. Deberían tener más detalles con el tema de la limpieza, bordes de camas y muebles con polvo, cenicero con colillas en la terraza. Habian sofas que se iban a utilizar para dormir, pero no encontramos por ningún lado sábanas para ponerle y creo que al ser para 5 o 6 personas, deberían de disponer de ellas. Por lo demás agradecer por la pronta respuesta se parte del propietario de apartamento.

• Cambeyro (8/5): Bumpy at first but we were there for the outside life mostly We improvise - Location was very good, very close to Opera Metro Station and bus stops. Apartment was functional in general and it was clean. There was many stuff clogging the apartment like a broken chair, and another plastic chair that we couldn’t use for the dinner table. There were many old, nasty pillows in one of the closets without any reason. The staff just referred to those pillows as old, not to be used by guests. It was confusing, as we didn’t know if those were there for us to use in the sofa beds. Kitchen was somewhat functional but some utensils were missing. We had to ask the staff for wine glasses as there were none. There were not enough glasses for juice or water and we had to improvise. The apartment was described to fit 6 people or many more. We were six and there were only 4 chairs at the dinner table. We had to ask for more comforters because there were not enough or sheets to sleep. We also asked for an expresso coffee machine as the apartment showed one in the pictures but when we got there there was none. Staff brought one alone with the extra sheets for the sofa beds and wine glasses.

• Anandakrishnan (5/5): Had better expectations of the place from the photos posted on Booking.com. Did not realise that the host will be so ir - The location is good. 1. Irresponsive host 2. The room heater and coffee maker didn’t work. The host did not even bother to give a response 3. The building itself was very old and lifeless. The electricals did not work as well. The lift was too small and could accommodate 2 large suitcases and one adult. The stairs were creaky. 4. The bed linens were just ok. Not so clean. 5. Not enough power points. Eg., the bathroom did not even have a single power point to plug in a hair drier.

• Leeni (7/5): Excellent location for visiting Madrid! Communication with the hosts is not very reliable. - This apartment is all about location, which is extremely central and practical! The apartment fits a group of friends or family nicely. Having space for multiple people with only one bathroom/shower requires some coordination. The communication with the hosts was not very good: I don't know who I talked with as no names were given and multiple times I received no response to my several messages or calls. This is problematic if for instance you forget something in the apartment after check-out or if you have an urgent question. Good to know for other guests, if you forget anything in the flat you should inform the hosts within hours, otherwise they throw everything to the trash.

• Cristina (3/5): disappointed !! - The property was dirty, the TV never worked, the sheets on the beds were changed, on the sofa they were used, the pro-COVID sanitary measures were not followed, the location is not for a family. Downstairs from the apartment there is a disco and we could not sleep perhaps to It works for people without children, a beautiful area but there is no place to park the car, the towing took my car. In general, the property is not as they put it in the photos, very upset about this 😠 VERY DIRTY !!

• Victoria (5/5): Passable - The location was convenient to get to the Plaza. But it was a big problem requesting an Uber to pick us up or drop off since it does not appear accurately on their maps. We even missed our train to another city as a result, and no taxis pass by the street. The apartment is spacious, with a lot of shelves, drawers, storage; good bathroom and kitchen, but it smelled strongly of cigarettes and it was generally cold and stuffy in the apartment. Checking in was the biggest problem during the stay. I originally requested for an early check-in, which was denied. So, I planned on arriving after 3pm instead. the listing notes check-in is any time from 3pm-12pm. Earlier in the day, the hosts had messaged me indicating to arrive by 3pm so that they have someone hand over the keys. Since I did not have an international phone plan, I had not seen the message. In addition, we arrived later than expected because Uber does not locate the building correctly, and had to go in circles, and still we had to walk to the property with our luggage. Upon arrival around 6pm, there was no one waiting for us. I called and messaged the owner via Whatsapp and booking.com (at this point, having to disable Airplane mode because there was no wifi), and the owners ignored my calls and messages for over an hour. I then had to call Booking.com and report the problem, and potentially request a refund so that I could cancel the reservation and reserve somewhere else. They also could not reach the owners. As the agent was in the middle of assisting me, the owners finally responded, with a great deal of attitude and no understanding, not even acknowledging their own hours listed for the property. They finally indicated where they left the keys for us to enter, and again, disrespectfully said they had provided the instructions in another message, but they did not. I've never had such problems checking in or getting such a response from an owner.

• Roanna (8/5): Very good - good location, nice and clean property The property required €200 as deposit on the first day of the stay and the deposit would be returned if the property was okay when we left. They also advised that it would take up to 5 business days for the deposit to be back to my account. I messaged the property with the pictures of the flat on the day we checked out, and they replied saying everything was okay and €200 deposit would be returned to me. It has now been 8 business days and I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY DEPOSIT. I have tried calling, messaging on both whatsapp and booking.com messenger, and I have no reply at all.
