- hasan (9/5): Good value, recommended for 2 people - The good value, clean, good location As a point to improve, having better light would make the staying better.
And the property look better of course
- Eleonora (8/5): -
- Jessica (7/5): Good spot for a young couple, great location. - Great location, great response time & recommendations from Host.
Smooth check in and out. Sometimes noisy area.
- Bianca (7/5): Perfecte locatie voor een kort verblijf in Rome waar je toch veel op pad bent, het is gedateerd en het mag allemaal wel - Centraal gelegen Niet heel schoon, bedden waren vrij hard en klein.
- Juan (10/5): - The location is perfect for enjoying Trasvetere They are doing repairs so we couldn't enjoy the outdoor spaces
- Alice (3/5): - La stanza non era abbastanza igienica, è mal tenuta e c’era la muffa sui muri e le finestre non si chiudono neanche.
- Weronika (7/5): - It was very, very clean. Whoever cleaned the flat before we arrived did a fantastic job. Good safe location, easy to get in-and-out of. Like most ground-floor flats in trastevere - it’s damp, making the air stale, particularly at night. We kept the windows open round the clock which helped because we had amazing, sunny weather. A de-humidifier might be a good idea.
- Charlie (7/5): - We had a lovely stay in trastevere. Great unique part of Rome, good location close to plenty of good food and cafes but enough to be out of the way. It’s small but that’s what you pay for and all part of the experience. Kind hosts too

- AFRODITI (8/5): - The location was excellent and very safe — within walking distance to restaurants, cafés, and bars. Trastevere is such a lively area, full of life from early morning until late at night. It’s also very close to the city center and all the main attractions.
The apartment was renovated, clean, and in good condition — especially considering that most buildings in Rome are old, but that’s also part of the city’s charm.
Everything was great overall. The communication at first felt a bit strict, with many rules and restrictions, but later on, it became much friendlier.
As a former Airbnb host and Superhost myself, I would just suggest being a bit more trusting and welcoming towards guests. Other than that, we were very happy with our stay and truly enjoyed it.

- Charlotte (10/5): Pleasant - Small but comfortable perfect location The location
- Simon (7/5): Great for short stay in Roma. - Location is amazing, so many bars and cafes and restaurants nearby.
Communication was great, easy to deal with. Hot water was an issue few first two nights, but better for last few nights.
- Nadica (9/5): We had a great experience, perfect location and an amazing host, Grazie Andrea! -
- Soňa (5/5): - Bolo to všetko priemerné Spanie na poschodovej posteli bolo málo bezpečné
- Melania (8/5): Ok place for short trip. - The location is great. The apartment was pretty clean, staff was friendly. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and utensils. Overall
I think it is an ok quality for the money if you’re in Rome for 2-3 nights. The TV had terrible quality and very limited channel options. The apartment got a bit smelly when the windows were closed. Signs of mould on the bathroom ceiling. There was no proper space to hang wet towels and the fridge is super loud (and you sleep next to it).
- Petroula Kamenka (10/5): - Everything is in a walking distance. The neighbourhood is nice with many options super close to the apartment. We had everything we needed. The hosts are really helpful and kind! We enjoyed our time there and we definitely coming back.
- Keaney (10/5): Excellent base for a city break in Rome - The location of this apartment was excellent! Loads of fabulous restaurants just around the corner. We walked to all the Rome attractions from our apartment
- Elisabetta (10/5): - La posizione, la pulizia dell'appartamento. Spazi molto stretti per 4 ospiti
- Anne (5/5): Dark and slightly uncomfortable - The area was superb! Couldn't have been better Very dark flat. The add said "garden view" but the only window in the flat had net fastent to it, which made it impossible to open or even look through.
I rented the place because of the beautiful garden area. But it was closed, and have been for a while. That would have been nice to know prior to the stay.
We travelled 4 adult sized People (two teens) The bed on the top floor was fine, but the sleeping sofa was not suitable for sleeping more than one night. Very uncomfortable.

- Anna (2/5): soggiorno pessimo - La posizione Struttura fatiscente, letti scomodissimi, bagno minuscolo, mattoni rotti, arredi vecchi, pentole appese ai chiodi, sporcizia generale.
- Emma (5/5): - Location Basics were not available. No tea bags and sugar. No bed blanket available for our first night for the outstretched lounge.
- Ingrid (10/5): We had an enjoyable 2 night stay and would’ve liked to stay longer if our schedule had allowed - Great location and exactly what we needed! All was fine
- Brahim (8/5): - It was a nice experience
- Elizabeth (10/5): -
- Māra (9/5): - Location They i need to take out trash, and finde the trash cans! There was no cans for flat!!!
- ROBERTA (8/5): -
- Daniele (9/5): - In pieno Trastevere a 300metri da Piazza Trilussa. Pulito e ben organizzato. Patio delle foto non accessibile
- Armeen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Selina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lachlan (10/5): Loved returning to Rome and staying rite amoungst the action of the Trastevere. - The flat is in a perfect location, just outside on the edge of the Trastevere restaurants so it was quiet but close so only a short walk to all the action. Easy access to central Rome. Check in and communication was fantastic and easy. Flat was simple but clean and comfortable (air con kept us comfortable in the heat), perfect for a short stay in Rome. Highly recommended. The flat is a simple compact flat. Functional and met our needs well.
- Tracey (8/5): Very good - Loved the location as it was easy to get to and an easy walk to Vatican City and Campo de fiore. Valued the air conditioning and great instructions for checking in.
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dimitra (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (8/5): Amazing location ! 😀 - Amazing location ! 😀
- Nikolina (9/5): Superb -
- Gerald05 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tomas (10/5): Cozy place with weird rules - Quirkyness of the flat. Floor is cold. Cant be long without shoes. Maybe owner should consider putting a carpet or smth.
We payed for the appartment and then owner asked for 100eu deposit
which wasnt mentioned in the description. And you have to take out your trash.
Also it was weird that owner asked a short video of the place before we left 🤷
- Anja (6/5): Great location, the flat was fine and the courtyard also, but it’s not a family friendly place. - Great location. Couldn’t be better. We didn’t feel welcome with our kids (5 and 8). The people living in the apartments seems to be tired of tourists. Kids have to be very quiet (or else just don’t use the courtyard). A lady yelled at my kids for just sitting and talking in the courtyard in the afternoon. Another lady was upset because my youngest was playing with leaves he found on the ground (I think she assumed he had picked them from a plant).
- Margaret (5/5): Passable - The flat is part of a communal living community. It was interesting to see and experience how so many Italian people live. The people who live there were so welcoming and helpful. Also the flat’s location is great, right on the edge of bustling Trastevere. The flat is very small and far smaller than the photos online indicate. However it was enough space for us two and we managed to cook in the TINY kitchen. The steps to the sleeping area in a loft are unstable and verging on unsafe. They certainly wouldn’t pass any safety standards in Australia!! There is very little railing at the side of the bed to prevent someone rolling out and possibly falling down to the living area floor below. We were given a lot of information to check in, but it was not a smooth process. Everything seemed to be a bit complicated.
- Quentin (8/5): week-end in rome - location great
little courtyard great
aircon great (it was 40° when we were there)
staff lovely and helpful there were no black out blinds/shutters so sun was in the room from 5am.
- Henrique (10/5): Wonderful apartment in Trastevere, where I’d love to stay again. - What a lovely apartment this is! It had everything we needed, in a cozy space. The kitchen space is well-equipped with pans, plates, glasses and silverware. The bathroom is small, but comfortable. The room is quiet, beds are comfortable, there’s a table at which we had breakfast before exploring Rome.
Like others said, the room is indeed small, but perfectly fine for 3 or 4 people. We had an issue with the air conditioner, because it wasn’t cooling the temperature in the apartment. Gladly the staff was responsive and they managed to bring someone twice who in the end made it a bit better. Not perfect, but more manageable. Maybe the AC needs to be replaced to make it ideal.
Unfortunately, there was no place to store our luggage, so we had to leave it in a place nearby using the app Nannybag. It would be great if they managed to have a little place inside that apartment complex for that.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - The property was beautiful, especially the outdoor area. It is in a great location. Clean and comfortable. Easy check in. The room was small but was okay for the price.
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional - I loved the location of the property I think the beds weren’t that comfy but still a great place to stay would come back again
- Clayton (10/5): Perfect stay - Location, staff extremely friendly, easy check-in, clean.
If you plan to stay a few days, this is simply the perfect location. Night life in trastevere is amazing, but are you calling an early night? - you cannot hear anything from outside.
Vatican / Rome seesights? It couldn't be easier.
Honestly, I don't understand why it's so cheap. The staff were so friendly and helpful all the way.
I wish that all other hotels/bookings could be like this. I didn't like that I don't live my whole life there.
- Marketa (10/5): Cute condo just few blocks away from the city - I saw people complaining about stuff in the flat on this platform but I’m glad I didn’t fell for it! We just fell in love with it the minute we got there! For sure it might be on the smaller site but we were 4 adults and it has everything we needed during our stay! The AC, the fan, the fridge, and the shower! Me and my husband were visiting Rome with my parents and were walking in the city all day. We usually came back during the day to rest a little and in evening to sleep. The location is just perfect! We didn’t have to take any public transport as the flat is just few blocks away from the city center. Marco and Davide were also kind and welcoming from the second we confirmed the reservation. They were helpful and always reachable if needed. There wasn’t anything in particular we didn’t like but the shower absolutely needs a bit of attention. I guess it might be the Italian water system but it took it too long to drain away.
- Yasemin (7/5): We had a wonderful five days in Trastevere. It was a good choice for our Italy trip. - Location was great. Good neighborhood. House owner gave detailed information about the check in and check out process. And it was easy to reach them for all time. Also the vibe of the apartment was so nice especially the garden. Apartment was clean and had everything we needed. It was small for 4 people. Bed size was enough but the apartment space was not enough for a group. Shower was leaking water and it made a bit dirt.
- Mihail (8/5): Very good -
- Gwendolyn (5/5): The inside area is not worth the money, the only good thing about the booking is the location. - The location is amazing. The courtyard was a bonus to an otherwise uncomfortable stay. Photos are misleading, area is extremely cramped, bathroom facilities need some work, show drain is clogged up and runs risk of flooding bathroom, there were dirty items left from previous tenant, used toilet paper sitting on the mirror shelf. Towels have old stains on them. Stairs leading up are on the verge of caving in. Upper floor seems unstable.
- Fonkych (7/5): Good -
- Danitza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alice (7/5): Good - Location was great, close to great restaurants and within walking distance of main attractions. The apartment was a lot smaller than the photos made it out to be but they made good use of what space they had. Check in was also quite confusing but the staff were very nice / communicative and assisted us. The only other issues was that the curtains were very thin and let in all the light in the morning.
- Paula (8/5): Very good - The location is great, right next to the centre of Trastevere
- Mirela (1/5): Bad -
- Jacqueline (8/5): Perfect location. Clean and exactly as pictured and described! - Very nice and accommodating of the arrival time. The door was a little hard to open but I managed!
- Iolanda (5/5): Passable -
- Päivi (6/5): Perfect location for exploring Rome - The best thing about the accommodation was the location - Rome was literally at your doorstep and Trastevere is an absolutely gorgeous area. The flat was also reasonably clean and the bed comfortable. The electricity fittings were quite dodgy: wires on the bathroom light were uncovered and the extension socket hanging off the wall worked very poorly. The worst thing was when the air conditioning short-circuited with sparks and smell of burning - the manager didn't think it was a big problem or dangerous. It felt their attitude was not very customer-oriented. There were other things in need of repair: the kitchen tap was wonky and the shower handle holder broken.
- Teegan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (7/5): Overall enjoyed our stay. - Great location close to many good restaurants and walking distance from sights in the city center. Space was comfortable for two people. Dirty floor, no soap or shampoo in shower, shower head not working properly, and rattling noise from AC.
- Knauth (8/5): Clean, comfortable room in excellent location! - Location was superb, room was comfortable and clean :) It got very warm in the top beds, even with the AC on. Contacting personell was difficult at times
- Joanne (10/5): Fantastic - It is in s fantastic location. We walked to the Vatican, Trevi fountain ,Colosseum. It’s in a very popular area with lots of fantastic restaurants and bars and feels very safe at night.
Very compact apartment with everything you need. Quite small for 4 people but it’s location is everything.
- Darragh (8/5): Very good -
- Courtney (5/5): The location is nice but the room - The building and location was great. The room was really small and we felt very cramped.
- Francisco (7/5): Good -
- Kristen (7/5): Good - Loved the courtyard and location. Shower is very good with great water pressure. The space is much smaller than the photos portray and the kitchen is very small and difficult. However it does have pretty much everything you need and we had a great time there.
- Talia (9/5): Superb - Fantastic location with quiet traditional Italian streets in the morning and bustling with character at night. Wifi was very strong
- Celeste (8/5): Very good - Location was fantastic, there were lots of good restaurants and not so touristy, more of a suburb feel. Still close to walk to main attractions. The upstairs bed was a little dicey if you needed to go to the bathroom during the night.
- Alexandra (9/5): Superb - Location location. So many lovely restaurants close by
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Location, recently refurbished bathroom and kitchen A bit humid, Master’s on the floor, no blinds on the windows, could hear everything in the corridor si got woken up by the other guests at 6am
- Elene (10/5): Perfect location for a family or friends!! - The location was great. We had a good feel of local life in Rome. The apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and neat and safe Atmosphere, location and facilities. We were able to walk everywhere and had a wonderful stay
- Ariel (8/5): Very good -
- Janell (8/5): Very good - Outdoor area, location, and host were fabulous! Very tight layout and the room amenities were a little tricky.
- Helena (10/5): the studio is so cute, i felt safe there as a female solo traveler - in both the apartment and the area. the property is - it was so clean, located well, friendly greeting from the host, i slept really well - bed was comfortable. shower pressure was good. can’t think of anything
- Mel (9/5): Cozy apartment in a charming area of Rome - The apartment was super charming and cozy. We had a great stay here. The window in the bathroom didn't close shut completely, so there was cold air draft that entered the apartment.
- Helena (2/5): If I had a chance I would have refused to stay there, alas, had to go to work and no time - The location was good Unsafe stairs to the bed, unsafe bed as no adequate protection from falling off, no headrest, inconvenient power point to charge phone, no proper handrails so if you are not an acrobat with super sense of balance, going to the toilet is a major challenge. Unsafe exposed wiring. Unhealthy mould in bathroom. Everything felt slightly sordid and not very clean. No space for storage of bags as blocked by owner. No sound insulation. Flimsy door. Next door neighbours can be heard as if they were in the same flat...
- Joao (8/5): The PERFECT stay in Rome ! - This was the best flat we could ever had on our trip to Rome ! Honestly - the location is 10/10, the apartment is incredibly cute, with an outdoor area and all the appliances were perfect.
We honestly loved it !!!
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Esra (10/5): Exceptional - As soon as we arrived and saw the courtyard, we couldn't believe our eyes..
It was so vibrant and colourfull. We had a warm welcome from Marco, he explained us everything, gave us recommendations and showed us the map of Rome.
He even said that if we had any questions we could send him an message during our vacation.
We loved this place, and Rome itself.
About the location, it was perfect! There is also a mini market next to the building where you can get anything you need!
The location is near the busy street but it doesnt bother you, because there is no noise.
There are many restaurants, within 2 minutes walking distance..
We sure are coming back within a few months.. We already decided that we are wanting to stay at Pretty Flat.
And big thanks for the kind and helpfull, Marco himself!!
- Joanne (10/5): I would stay again. - I loved the location and court yard. such a beautiful spot. Marco was a great host.
- Iva (7/5): Good -
- Giugliano (9/5): Superb - Location
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Great property manager who helped us navigate the area and was extremely helpful. It's simple and small but well laid out. It's was perfect for us and our two young children. Amazing restaurants all around, our favorite part of the city to eat away from the touristy spots. Walking distance to everything or the city bus drops you off tens minutes from the flat. We will book again when in Rome.
