- Teodora (8/5): - The host was very quick and accommodating. We didn’t had any problems. The apartment was very spacious for 5. We had a pack and play set up with adorable baby sheet sets. Thank you! The only thing that worried me was that the shower stall didn’t had a door or a curtain and I was nervous I will get the whole bathroom wet.
- Debra (10/5): I loved my stay in Fantasie in Trastevere. I will forever have great memories of this. - The apartment was huge (2 bathrooms) everything I needed. In the middle of Trastevere with lovely restaurants on the street & a supermarket downstairs. Great internet & smart tv.
The owner was waiting for me when I arrived & left a manual of things I might need. Beautiful building. Secure. Very big, fully equiped with everything I needed & more. I’d stay again anytime. You won’t go wrong if you book this accommodation.
- Michael (9/5): Great location. Cool historic building. Nice, fully-equipped apartment. -

- Westhorpe (9/5): Good value and good location in Rome. - Location was good, cafes and bars nearby.
Good value for Rome, we needed two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The plumbing wasn’t amazing, trying to run a hot bath was difficult.
No shower curtain and water drained slowly so ended up with soggy bath mat.

- Lisbeth Rud (8/5): I love the place and will book it again - Location and lot of space The bathrooms needs maintenance (mostly toilets running)
- Joan (2/5): Not what we expected very disappointed with the accommodation - The size of the lounge was quite good The place was not to the standard of living that we would normally have expected.the aircon in both bedroom and lounge were not usable as the noise from them was like a train coming through .both the kitchen and bathroom need deep cleaning and total renovations.we were met by a lovely lady with the keys but that was the only thing that we could recommend as a positive for this place .would not recommend this place to anyone in its current condition.
- Kevin (7/5): Great location, apartment kind of dumpy. - Charming old building in a great location. Bath and kitchen were in very tired condition.
- Declan (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (10/5): Large quiet spacious apartment in lovely Trastevere - The apartment is located in a very good location if you don't mind being outside of main Rome. It was located on a quiet street, 250m from public transport. It took us ~ 20 - 30 mins to get wherever we needed to. There are lots of restaurants nearby, a cafe across the street and grocery stores on both sides of the entrance. The rooms were very large, the beds were super comfortable. There were lots of amenities (high chairs, baby baths, cots) to cater for whatever your group needs.
Trastevere is a very quaint neighbourhood, so I didn't mind the extra bit of travel to get to the main tourist attractions. We had buses and trams near the apartment. It was very easy to catch a bus straight to Roma Termini. The kitchen is very small, but it was big enough to make a coffee and I even cooked breakfast one morning, but really only 1 person can be in it at a time. Quite frankly, it's a good excuse to try a lot of the local restaurants. We didn't find any that we didn't like.
There was also a light fixture missing near the shower. Didn't affect the shower, but it was a little dark. If that's the only things I can fault, then you know that this is a good find!
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic stay..thank you so much our host was amazing and so welcoming...apartment was so clean and huge.. location was out of this world..everything on our doorstep..cannot wait to come back..thank you Having to leave and come home
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cathy (9/5): Superb -
- Ajdini (8/5): Very good -
- Jocelyn (5/5): It was fine but needs a refurbishment and paint. It’s definitely not a four star apartment. - The location was good but the shower leaked and we had to mop the floor daily. The kitchen was basic so we didn’t use it much- no hot water from the tap. The mop head needs replacing and iron was dangerous. As above- shower leaks constantly, iron cord split so dangerous. The whole place needs to be updated and painted. It’s pretty tired looking.
- Dan (9/5): Superb - great host, loved the location, walkable to all sites, shower door needs fixing allowed water to escape shower, didn't bother me but floor mat would get soaked after each shower, easy fix.
- Marie (7/5): Had a great time the area was fantastic - Location was absolutely perfect.
Restaurants right outside the entry door.
Supermarkets next door
Taxi stand a few minutes away The apartment needs a upgrade especially the bathrooms and kitchen
- Julie (7/5): Well located - Well located and spacious. Air conditioning worked very well and bed was comfortable. The apartment needs renovating and looks tired.
- Angela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ty (10/5): Fabulous. Unforgettable! - Stefania was extremely helpful for checking-in as well as providing the local information. Location is absolutely fabulous, very convenient to go anywhere, and such a charming neighborhood. The room is spacious and well equipped with all we need. Highly recommended. The only minor negative is a small kitchen which is a bit difficult to properly cook, but we were ably to manage somehow. The bathroom is large, but whenever we used hot-water we heard a large sound and we were initially surprised a bit, and it might need some maintenance/improvement.
- Therese (7/5): A great location with lots of restaurants around, lovely host, spacious but needs some basic repairs - Host was very flexible when our flight was delayed. Lift just large enough for a mobility scooter although there were two steps to negotiate to get to the lift. The shower was a little dodgy and air conditioner in the main room we couldn't get to work.
- Gorancheczar (8/5): Very good - Trastevere is a great part of Rome. The apartment is located near the best food in that part of the city. There's a nice liquor store in the neighborhood, a couple of smaller supermarkets, all the stuff that you'd like to have nearby. Noise. There is much noise because near the windows are chimneys. Also seagulls, you're going to be mad when they wake you up in the middle of the night. Towels were clean but there were yellow/red stains that makes you wonder if towels are really washed.
The kitchen sink is not working properly, water is draining out and the solution was to put some glass down there - not so cool. Also, it is expected that apparent looks better on pictures, but this was very different and not in a good way.
- Yick (7/5): Good location, older place - Location was amazing. So close to many restaurants and food spots. Host very responsive and flexible on our arrival and departure time. Takes a few min for hot water to work in apartment Not close to metro so have to taxi or bus. Also no hot water for one of the bathrooms despite following instructions however did not try on second night we were there
- Hazel (5/5): Passable - bath and shower were lukewarm to chilly
- Tasha (7/5): Great location in fabulous part of Rome - Excellent location in one of the nicest parts of Rome. Apartment needs refurbishing in lots of places. We were out all day so it didnt matter to us that much but really needs some money spending on it to bring it up to date.
- Rosemary (10/5): Exceptional - Large apartment in a really lovely part of town.some wonderful food shops , cafes and restaurants nearby.definitely recommend. our hostess was very kind and helpful especially when due to our own fault we had a key issue . Grazie mille
- Tsuyoshi (10/5): It was cosy and relaxing - Everything Nothing
- Kelly (10/5): We loved the apartment the area the entry was so lovely & cooling & welcoming when you came in from a big day ex - Stefania had thought of everything & was super accommodating.
The location was amazing! Plenty of space & it was quiet
- Renato (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (9/5): Superb - Great location. Plenty of room plus sofabed for 2 of us. Very quiet. Landlord was very helpful. Nothing
- Lauren (9/5): Perfect stay for yourself or small group! - Perfect stay! Located in great location, in the heart of Trastevere. Very safe, quiet place that has a main entrance (with lock) before you get into the building to the apartment door. Very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed for a weekend exploring the city. Host met us outside right on time to give us keys and show us around and explain things.
Very much recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area! No complaints about the stay, but public transit was a little tricky for the area. Buses or taxis are the only way into city center.
- Katharina (5/5): Great location but not clean - Great location, quiet but in minimal walking distance from Trastevere center. Well functioning air condition in living room and bedroom. Not clean, bathroom extremely dirty.
- Ailbhe (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable apartment. Nice staff. Plane delayed 3 hours and it was no problem, staff member there to greet us at midnight. Kitchen sink was blocked.
- Lisbeth (8/5): We love the apartment and will definitely return, but some renovation is needed - The location is perfect and very quiet
The size of the apartment fits very well and are wellfuncional
The kitchenette is nice The beds are not so comfortable
The bathrooms needs repairs and renovation. The zink plug does not work, the shower/water spreads very much and hard, the toilet water runs.
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Vladlen (10/5): Exceptional - We liked literally everything, this flat had all we needed for a great stay, from a complementary water bottle in the fridge ( yeah, you do need it after a long flight, ride on the bus under all that heat outside), the full set of cutlery, lots of towels, a washing machine that saved us lots of money on the laundry coz our stay was for 9 nights, the owner prepared a brochure by themselves with a great explanation about Rome, public transport, places of interest, good restaurants and etc. Our stay was more that great it was wonderful, and the flat is very big and spacious.
- Cheryl (8/5): We had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend the location and the property! - Large apartment for a family of 4. Wonderful location in Trastevere. Air conditioning worked wonderfully during the heat of the summer. Nice courtyard, property felt very secure. Drainage in kitchen wasn’t ideal but can’t be helped. Small kitchen, but who cooks while you’re in Italy!
- Leonardo (10/5): perfect - everything, my family and I liked absolutely everything.
- Ezrina (6/5): Great location, quiet and manageable - The amount of storage areas are great! The location is very accessible to a community fresh fruit and vegetable market. There are many great cafes, restaurants, pizzerias etc. Close to public transport directly going to the many tourist sites in Rome. The bed is ok as much as it is using a thin sofa bed mattress. The laundry facility is also good. Regardless, we feel the property is good value for money. The kitchen is very small, but somewhat manageable. There a two bathrooms. The blue bathroom spa is highly recommended NOT to be used by the owners as the operational noise apparently affects the neighbours.
- Dennis (8/5): Spacious Accommodation with a Great Bath! - The location was good for walking everywhere but it looked a little ‘rundown’ but the property was good. Walked miles every day and enjoyed a huge bath to recover in the evening. The rooms were high, light and spacious and after six nights I would have been happy to stay on! I don’t particularly like gas hobs even when they work well. The kettle had to be boiled on the hob which was a drawback. The oven was electric and worked well so that was not a problem!
- Linda (8/5): Perfect location and very well equipped apartment. - This spacious apartment had everything we needed. In a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the bustling and lively restaurant filled streets of Trastevere. Stefania met us with the keys and was very kind explaining everything to us.She had even communicated which bus to get from the station to find the apartment.
The apartment has a bedroom, living area and two bathrooms. with a good shower. A small well equipped kitchen and large fridge freezer. There is a washing machine and ironing board, and even a clothes horse for drying.
The historic centre of Rome is about 30-40 mins walk or a bus stop is nearby. Supermarket is literally next door.
Very happy with our stay. A few more towels would have been appreciated for our 5 night stay as the apartment is not serviced during the stay.
The kettle is a whistling hob kettle. Maybe an electric kettle would be good. Kitchen a little small but still had everything we could possibly need.
- Kurt (10/5): we were greeted in such a friendly way very late at night by our host. we enjoyed the location and felt very comfortable - great location, nice and roomy, two bathrooms, comfortable and clean
- Lucienda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruna (10/5): It was awsome. Stephania was great. The apartment is near markets and restaurants. Perfect! -
- Lucienda (8/5): Very good -
- Bonnie (7/5): Good -
- Broc (10/5): great stay very equipped nice location not in a tourist trap area cultured and guide was very helpful would recommend - lots of space lots of cutlery and glasses plates etc guide was really helpful on where to eat etc windows wouldn’t open
- Ilaria (8/5): very very good location - everything the heating was too high, so the house was hot, but we succeeded in adjusting the indoor climate so, the day after everything was fine
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb - The apartment was fabulous for our stay as a couple. The size was amazing compared to other places we have stayed in Rome. Location was great, close to bars and restaurants yet just a minute from the main hub of Trastevere. There was a supermarket next door which was very handy. We would definitely stay again. Just some constructive criticism, the sealer around the outside of the shower should be replaced as its a little unsightly. Also, just a note..the window view from the promotion pics is not actually from the apartment. The pics are overlooking the main square in Trastevere which is a few minutes walk away. (We already knew this so it wasn't an issue for us)
- Geraldine (10/5): Lovely Apartment in a great location, would stay again and highly recommend this place - Great apartment to stay in when visiting Rome. Host was very friendly and accommodating meeting us at the property when we arrived. Area to stay in was gorgeous with so many lovely restaurants and bars near by to wonder round and discover. The apartment itself was very spacious and clean with air con and a handy little kitchen.
- Leanne (10/5): Fabulaous stay in Trastevere in what felt like a home from home - Really nice apartment in Trastevere where the locals are. Close to great bars and restaurants without the central time prices. Atmosphere around the apartment was buzzing and people were so friendly. All attractions are within walking distance and we rarely felt the need to use a taxi service. Will recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome as the ideal place to stay. Nothing
- Marie (5/5): Passable - outdated apartment, tasteless decor, tiny kitchen
- Mathias (9/5): Superb -
