Guest Reviews
- Geoffrey George (8/5): - Nice clean room. Hotel organized excellent guide and driver! Not too much choice for breakfast
- Geoffrey George (9/5): - Great location in centre of Paro. Staff very helpful. They arranged our guide and driver beforehand and they are fantastic. The room is looking a bit tired. And not too much choice for breakfast.
- Brett (8/5): -

- Ehsan (10/5): I would stay again. Thank you. - Centrally located. You can land in Paro, come out of the airport and then take a 500 NTU to be at the hotel in 5 min. Nothing I didn’t like.
- Dr Khandker Shamsul (8/5): Overall, I was happy and satisfied -

- Adrian (10/5): - The room was warm & cosy and the water hot. The views down Paro valley were great. Excellent location in town - within walking distance to many things. The staff were so kind & generous, too. They helped us organise a driver & guide. Nothing
- Ingram (10/5): Wonderful stay - Staff friendly / helpful

- Tashi (10/5): It was great. I stayed 3 nights on my last days in Bhutan. Thank you to all the staffs . - Clean, well located,
- Katherine (10/5): The most amazing place to stay in Bhutan! - Nirvana Inn is honestly the best place to stay in Paro, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Not only are the rooms beautifully clean, they also have the best views. My father got a room with a balcony and he was in heaven just watching the planes leave Paro whilst drinking coffee on the balcony!
Not only that the guide they provided us; his name Sonam, was so intellectually smart on the history of Bhutan, he gave us the best understanding of Bhutan culturally. We honestly recommend him if you want an honest hard working and professional guide who is completely dedicated to his country, Sonam is the guide! We have learnt so much from him, and we will treasure his words forever!
Nirvana Inn has the most helpful beautiful staff and that is the reason why it made our stay so special and one we will never ever forget!
Thank you to all the staff of Nirvana!
We will be back again in the future for sure!!!! Everything was perfect!!!!!
- Courtney (7/5): -
- Hans Couck (8/5): Excellent room and breakfast - Definitely a good place to stay, excellent breakfast that I paid separately Somehow the staff acts in a constant state of confusion. Ignoring that I would recommend.
- Haluk (10/5): - Otel konumu merkezi noktada Personel harika temizlik güzel fakat odada hafif bir koku vardı onu çözemedim
- Renata (3/5): Uwaga!
- Robin (8/5): - Good size room, and nice price -
- Aleksey (10/5): -
- Lars (6/5): Good for stay if you have an early flight - Proximity to airport and right in downtown Noisy and could be cleaner
- Cathal (8/5): Perfect place to see Paro - Very central. The staff could not be kinder or more attentive All good
- Michael (8/5): -
- Valliappan (8/5): Very good - Food was great
- Mehedee (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely cooperative and friendly staff, room was cozy with a great view. Nothing, everything was as expected.
- Franca (8/5): A nice boutique hotel in excellent position . Nice view from my upper room - Very good value for price. Excellent position and staff . They were very nice giving me very good yogurt on demand The way they make the bed . To improve a little bit cleaniless of sheet
- Atyasha (5/5): Passable - The location is in the middle of the town and walking distance from the main street. The staff are accommodating but you have to prompt them and keep reminding them of your request. The room was a good size. There are not many breakfast options. Mainly one Indian dish. Also there were delays in breakfast during my stay. The first day I requested for a packed breakfast to take with me for the hike but this was not communicated to the kitchen and as a result I was given fruits and bread only after waiting for sometime. The breakfast timing was 7am however on the second day breakfast was ready at 7.45 and I had to leave for the airport at 8am.
The staff are not very forthcoming but it could be because of the language barrier too.
The WiFi is patchy.
- Jérôme (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic accommodation, clean, central and very bright room. Staff is very helpful, they helped book our driver and guide for our time in Bhutan. Highly recommended!
- Zobera (10/5): Exceptional - I like there balcony. When I need to take a breath I set there and have a cup of coffee.it is on the main town and lots of restaurants are there. Nothing special. Everything was good.
- Sita (5/5): Reached the property and waited almost 20 minutes at the front desk because there was no one to welcome the guest . Afte - Location Staff behavior and cleanliness of the room
- Anette (10/5): Excellent - Lovely and spacious room and bathroom, super friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, easy and affordable airport pickup, I loved my stay and definitely recommend :)
- James (1/5): There are many hotels in Paro; just don't stay at this one. - Horrible in every way.
We booked directly with the hotel not via a guide and maybe the hotel just cannot handle it. Nevertheless this is the reality for the last few years in Bhutan and other hotels have staff who can communicate effectively in English. Staff cannot help with anything, do not understand anything correctly. Room old and in poor condition. Staff do not know how to operate their own card payment machine, delaying our departure to airport (we have no cash, the hotel accepts cards). Attitude not good or friendly. The staff called the owner/manager for help who is also not friendly or apologetic in any way. It is a shameful way to behave in both Bhutanese and international culture. If all hotels were like this there would be no tourists in Bhutan!
- Udi (10/5): Exceptional - Great hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Nothing.
- Mohit (10/5): Good Property to stay in - A very good Property...
They provide us a quick laundry.
Adjusted as per our arrival timing without any questions.
Provided us packed breakfast of our choice as we were leaving very early Nothing..
- Kuo-sheng (9/5): Superb -
- Renuka (7/5): Good - Nice location, basic but clean and compact; good breakfast, value for money Shower not working
- Michal (10/5): Good Hotel in Paro city centre - Nirvana Inn is a good place to stay in Paro. The location is the city centre. The room was cozy and comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, always ready to help. Highly recommended.
- Brian (8/5): Comfortable hotel In the center of Paro town and close to the airport. - Centrally located. Staff were very kind and helpful. Balcony in room was great. Heater was provided in room. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had all the facilities needed. 10 minutes from the airport. Hotel was a bit old and had a smell of India! It could do with some refurbishment to bring it up to the standard of other hotels and guest houses I stayed in in Bhutan.
- Rinzin (7/5): Over all good - Me and my partner was waiting in reserve room in the morning for flight take off car and the reservation guy got us a heater that was very nice of him in the cold -4 degree. In room 32 level 3 the aircon /ac is too low to get heat or cool.
- Harby (10/5): The hotel is well located, walking distance from restaurants and shopping area. - Nirvana Inn's serves a fresh and healthy breakfast. The dinning room was comfortable, and its employees provided top customer service. The room I stayed was big for the price paid. I am happy I stayed at Nirvana Inn and will recommend it to travelers. At this time, nothing to ad. Perhaps a heater in the hotel lobby and an extra one in rooms.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - Great location in town. Helpful & friendly staff did breakfast to take away for an early flight.
- Robert (10/5): A happy home in Paro - A comfortable and happy stay in the heart of Paro. I was very sad to leave at the end of my trip, and hope to return one day. The airport transfer at the end was wonderful!
- Saket (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jaspreet (9/5): Value for money - Central location close to eateries and bars, its right on the road . we stayed on the fourth floor where the room had a balcony overlooking the mountains. Beds super comfortable. Had to check out early for the flight but still they managed to give us a good breakfast. Polite and accomodating staff. Elevator is plus point. Rooms are small but most of the day you are out.
- Kanchanatetee (1/5): Terrible service by the hotel staff on the 20th of Sep night until morning. He should inform us that he doesn’t have cap - Location Staff
- Mads (9/5): Superb -
- Fangli (9/5): Very happy - staff service over all great! Location is great!

Finally, the manager (Gokul Ghalley) helped us with planning our daily itinerary(tiger's nest, paro, thimpu, punakha, haa) providing a car and excellent guide(Deepak and Rohan),arranged is for a stay in Punakha(lobesa resort). I will recommend it to my friends and family. Will definitely stay again when I visit Bhutan. Nothing
- Sakila (7/5): Good -
- Sonam (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pravin (8/5): Very good - Location
- Sangeeta (5/5): Passable - The location was good for an official visit. Pretty decent but it wasn’t as spacious as I wanted it to be.
- Devdatta (9/5): Superb - Location.
The manager helped us with cold breakfast ( sandwich and boiled eggs and banana) when we left for Tigers Nest trek at 6 AM. Very helpful staff. Children's park is hardly few metres away. The restaurant serves very tasty food. Nothing.
- Mahesh (8/5): It is budget friendly, value for money hotel. Restaurant indian food quality and quantity is nice. - It is located in city centre. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Very nice balcony view. Rooms are a bit small and room does’t have AC/heater. A eletric coil heater is provided.
- John (7/5): Modern new hotel in the center of town with nice quiet rooms. Elevator to the 4th floor. - Friendly staff, centrally located, nice room layout, quiet. Quite cold, even with radiant heater. Breakfast was minimal compared to other places I stayed. Elevator was a risk when power was cut from ti.e to.ti.e.
