L’île est très calme et on y trouve de bons restaurants. La propreté 😱en rentrant au rez de chaussée ça sent très mauvais. c’était très sale on a trouvé plein de cheveux collés au mur de la douche . Les voiles au dessus du lit étaient noirs . Les verres et assiettes du petit déjeuner étaient degueulasses. Les propriétaires ne sont pas nets sur eux 😰 Je pensais arriver dans un hôtel c’était mal indiqué que c’était un bb grosse déception 😞

Peaceful at night. The hosts were amazing, really friendly and always welcomed you to breakfast and prepared food and coffee as well as providing advice and directions. The room was a little cold in the evening, but there were plenty of blankets and the bed was comfortable. An extra bin would have been useful.

She went out of her way to provide an early breakfast and did all she could to ensure our stay was comfortable. Location was great - close to vaporetto stops and fabulous view of Venice. Room slept three but third bed was quite small (sofa bed). Room was a bit tired and dated. Sink in ensuite was too small to have a good wash without getting water everywhere. Needed a bigger bath mat.

La vista por la noche y por la mañana hacia el lago estuvo fantástica! Todo bien. Un poco la ubicación porque para ir a todos los lugares teníamos que pagar el barco casa vez que íbamos y regresábamos.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family and had the pleasure of meeting everyone, all of whom were incredibly friendly, kind, and genuinely caring. They were always happy to help and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect start to each day, and the view from our room was simply beautiful and unforgettable. The location is outstanding—close to all of Venice’s main attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing at the same time. Cà Isabella truly made our time in Venice extra special, and we would not hesitate to stay here again! Staying at Cà Isabella was one of the highlights of our trip to Venice. The warmth and hospitality of the family truly set this B&B apart—they were welcoming, attentive, and made us feel at home from the very beginning. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and waking up to such a beautiful view from our room made the experience even more special. The location is ideal, with easy access to Venice’s main attractions while still offering a calm and authentic atmosphere. If there was one “negative,” it was simply that our time there was too short—we wish we had more days to enjoy both Cà Isabella and the beauty of Venice. We would happily return in a heartbeat.

• Nathan (10/5): Great value, budget more time for public transport. - Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was great. Great view of the water and nice residential island. No surprise, but Giudecca is a little far from the rest of Venice and especially Murano and Burano. Wasn't a problem, but I would be very careful with public transport as the water bus can be unreliable.
• Ruzanna (10/5): - Donya Rossela and her husband were very nice, helpful, and polite people. They gave us great suggestions and information about transportation and places to visit. The breakfast was varied and rich. The guesthouse is located on Giudecca Island, just across from the Gallerie dell’Accademia, so you’ll definitely need to use the vaporetto to get there. However, that didn’t bother us at all — our stay was wonderful, and we would be happy to stay at this guesthouse again in the future.

The room was accessible to everything that Venice has to offer as the accommodations were meters from a water bus station. Breakfast was great. The room was private with en suite bathroom. A nice amenity area and you could come and go as you please as water busses run all night.

• Lo (9/5): A considerate hotel - The breakfast was so impressive and delicious, service just like they welcomed & invited us, the room was big and clean. There were few mosquitos, caused by windows opening, but they supplied mosquito-repellent incense, no bothering us at all.

Absurdo um café da manhã mal servido. Café da manhã e banheiro estreitíssimo.

Paní moc milá a nápomocná. Snídaně by mohla obsahovat více čerstvých surovin místo balených krekrů...Žádné ovoce ani zelenina. Cena za 1 noc opravdu vysoká, ale asi Benátky...

• Katrien (9/5): Deugddoende vakantie in een wondermooie stad. - Proper, dagelijks goed gepoetst. Hele fijne ligging: aan het kanaal, goed bereikbaar met de vaporetto en toch rustig gelegen, buiten de toeristische hotspots. In de onmiddellijke omgeving lokale winkeltjes en goede restaurantjes. Fijn om je terug te trekken na een dag in de drukte van Venetië.

Blisko przystanek vaporetto do Wenecji, restauracje i sklep. Przed wejściem do apartamentu są ławki z pięknym widokiem na Wenecję. Codziennie wymieniane ręczniki i pościel. W cenie standardowe śniadanie. Można tu poczuć klimat Wenecji. Bardzo mili gospodarze, pomocni i gościnni. Opowiadają co można ciekawego zwiedzić i jak wszędzie dotrzeć.

They provided us with so much useful information about how to use the ferry system, we’re always available, and happily served us massive breakfast each day. The views of the water with boats passing by the Venetian buildings from our room and the dining room were a dream! The only area they could improve on were the beds. The bedding was a bit heavy for the weather and the beds weren’t the most comfortable. The style and furniture was adorable though.

• Athanasia (7/5): Good clean basic accommodation very good value for money. - Great spot away from crowds, easy to get too by Vaporeto and quite. 5 minute walk from Guidecca Palanca stop. Right on the canal front next to Harry’s Dolci restaurant. Restaurants and bars along the canal and grocery store by Palanca Vaporeto stop. Great views across to St Marks sq. waterfront. Excellent communication with comprehensive advice on how to reach the property. Mini fridge in room. If you want a kettle message the owner. Requested a kettle which was provided, I brought my own tea / coffee / mug. Continental style breakfast with delicious home made cake provided. Tea / coffee/ bread/ butter/ jams/ cheese slice with ham/ salami / boiled egg available. Fruit also available. Good clean basic accommodation good value for money. Bed comfortable. The owners live on the first floor, rental accommodation on the second floor. No lifts (these are old properties) so be aware there are stairs to get to the accommodation. I’d booked the front room with the view as the other cheaper room at the back of the property had already been booked. The view was great but the shower cubicle was very small with a large step up to get into it. If your slim/ petite build you will find it ok but if your on the larger size it may be a struggle to get in and out. I understand from the owner that the other bedroom at the back of the property has a bigger shower suite.

The place has a homey and authentic feels - and the hostess serves a nice breakfast in the morning. The hosts are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a wonderful view of Venice. We enjoyed this stay, but recommend it for people who are looking for a cozier small place and not a generic large hotel

• Susan (5/5): Poor Location - The owner sent us a very helpful message about how to get to the property from the railway station and also advised us on how to get to the airport (the waterbus and ordinary bus being a lot quicker than the airport shuttle). The property is very tired, both inside and out but our biggest issue was with its location. You have to get a waterbus to the property; it is not possible to walk as it is not on the same island as the main sights of Venice or the railway station. Although it is theoretically possible to catch a waterbus which does the journey in about 20 mins, we had to catch 3 waterbuses to get to the property because of problems caused by a high tide. In addition, it took us about 1.5 hours to get into Venice when we went for dinner and another 1.5 hours to get home because the waterbuses terminated their journeys early, requiring us to get two waterbuses in both directions.

Thank you both for a lovely stay! Nothing, everything was great. However, be aware it is on the 2nd floor, and there's no elevator. But Enzo helped with our overpacked bags!!

• Sofia (10/5): Amazing stay in Venice - The breakfast was really extraordinary. Our host was super friendly, he made us an amazing cappuccino and a sandwich for breakfast, and we felt like home 😊 There were also yoghurts, pastries, ham, cheese, salami, teas, biscuits. And the cherry on top was the amazing view of Venice and the waves of the lagoon in the morning light, right in front of us, as we had our breakfast. The room was nice, clean and authentic. The location was also very convenient, prettier than staying in Mestre and cheaper than staying on the main island of Venice. The vaporetto station is 3 minutes from the apartment. From there you can get in 4 minutes to the closest station "Zattere" in Dorsoduro, which is a very beautiful part of Venice, or you can directly get to Piazza San Marco in just 10 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!!
