Guest Reviews
- Fernando (10/5): Highly recommended - We really really love this place and highly recommended Day trips doesn’t have many details
- Neelam (7/5): Good in food and shy in activities. - Good food. Spacious and well furnished rooms. Just little view of the sea from rooms as rooms are far from the shore.
- Julia (5/5): -

- William (9/5): Unbelievable value for money, one of my best ever stays! - The location of the beach and the views was unbelievable, best I’ve seen in my life. The staff were so warm and welcoming and the food they made was so good! Only 2 slight drawbacks. Firstly, BRING MOSQUITO SPRAY, and loads of it. Secondly, the rooms were warmer inside than it was outside, and the fans don’t provide much relief.

- Steve (8/5): I loved, met some wonderful people, staff included, and the free activities were really great. Best snorkelling on the c - Location, gardens, beach, activities, above all, staff.
Meals good too Ok, it’s very traditional and this means “basic”. But the rooms could be improved and the washing facilities really need an upgrade.
- Johanna (5/5): You get what you pay…
- Anita (5/5): Very rustic but reasonably priced - Very quiet Lack of comfortable chairs/sunbeds. The only seating available were hammocks (which were normally occupied by the locals who live on site) or hard plastic chairs. No food choices.
- FRANCISCO JAVIER (8/5): - La ubicación y la relación calidad-precio

- Diego (10/5): BEST place to go in Fiji !!! - Nabua Lodge was my best Fijian experience by miles...this place is unreal! Sai and his beautiful family looked after us like no one. The location is in front of a stunning beach with cristal clear waters, bures are clean and spacious, surroundings are really well manteined, free kayaks, easy hiking to see the sunset from a 360° viewpoint with amazing views of the village and the bay. They are very detailed with the guests and make sure you have a great experience. Luci cooked unreal food for us, best food we ate in Fiji! Rosy was lovely with us, she made us feeling like no one did before. They took us for a beautiful snorkeling on the reef. The lodge is very well organized, activities and timetables are well explained so you can arranged with then your days. Blue lagoon and Oarsman bay are very close distance by boat. I cannot thanks enough to this beautiful family all their efforts for make our stay so pleased. If I could give more than 10 points I would. They deserve more than that. I cannot recommend this piece of paradise anymore. These 3 days will be in our hearts forever...My wife and me already miss all the kids. If one day I come back to Fiji I will go back to the Nabua Lodge without a doubt. VINAKA from the bottom of our ♥️ I had to leave 😫
- Shenna (4/5): - Good food Almost no people, beds were not good, accommodation dirty, no place to chill except a few hammocks
- Dematalu (7/5): It was a good stay. - Location is good. Had lot of hammocks too. Very friendly staff. Made sure we were welcomed. Really loved Fijian food made for us. Kayaking was really good too.
Good place for experienced snookers. Apart from the breakfast lunch and dinner that the lodge offers there’s absolutely no option to dine in. And because of that options are limited. No drinking water in the rooms. No AC make is harder with the heat and mosquitoes.
For snorkeling there are no guides. It’s self snorkeling experience.
I think lodge is not good for families with little kids with cz it’s harder for them to adapt.
We did expect something different for New Year’s Eve but there was nothing.
- Shravani (8/5): Lovely location, calm and beautiful - Beautiful location calm, untouched and absolutely stunning.
Staff and everyone around was very lovely and there to help.
The view from the room was stunning.
Room is basic but I don't mind that.
Trips around were great and the Blue lagoon swim is a must.
Lot of beautiful short hiking spots around. The sea in front is full of sea grass so you can only swim during high tides. Which is okay as water is clean and we spotted some beautiful fishes.
As a vegetarian we starved coz there was absolutely no veg options. Most of the times we are boiled potatoes, boiled pasta or fruits (which were tasty). But overall food was the only thing that would stop me from going back.
Not many activities.
We were prepared for the house lizards and mosquitoes.
- Lathrop-Melting (10/5): - Wonderful visit to the village. Great meals and welcoming staff
- Patricia (7/5): Nabua Lodge - Being able to pay for the meals you want and no compulsory meal plan. That trips need a minimum of 2 or 3 people to run. As a solo traveller and only 4 others staying at the Lodge who didn't want to do the Blue Lagoon trip, meant I couldn't do it. If I had known of the limit I probably wouldn't have stayed there.
- Johann (10/5): -
- Wilma (9/5): Excellent people, location and excellent price value. - We loved the FAMILY, thanks John!
Aunt Lucis cakes and all the homemade dishes were great.
The situation of the bure is excellent permits a lot of nice walkings. Everything was very clean.
- Matthias (9/5): - Entspannte Atmosphäre,
Freundliches herzliches Personal

- Guest (9/5): Perfect place if you are looking for a place where to rest and chill - It was well maintained, the staff always kind, it was quiet and peaceful
- Lea (6/5): It’s a charming lodge right by the water, but it would definitely benefit from a bit more care and attention. We still h - It’s truly a place to disconnect — between swimming, hiking, snorkeling, and relaxing in the hammocks, there’s nothing else to do but unwind. You also have great freedom in choosing your activities and serving yourself at the bar. The scenery is stunning, the kitchen staff are absolutely lovely, and the food is both varied and delicious. The hammocks are a real highlight! Not being a 5-star resort doesn’t mean sleeping among ants, cockroaches, lizards, and spiders, with sheets still stained from previous guests. The bures are very old, we experienced several power cuts, and only had hot water for one out of five days. Activities are quite limited — snorkeling costs around $40, which is reasonable, but I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners as you’re pretty much left on your own in deep water.
Also, while the independence here is nice, meal times are fixed; offering a one-hour time slot instead could make things more flexible and enjoyable.
- Geraldine (10/5): Unique, peaceful and dreamy experience - I had the perfect local experience with the Nabua Lodge family. I got the fresh fish I was counting on and visited a Naisisili villa, where I learned more about Fijian life and traditions. The location was spectacular, with stunning views of coral and fish. It's also a great place to connect with other islands or resorts. It exceeded my expectations, and I will come back many times. I made friends with the amazing family, and I am so grateful that I had this wholesome experience. I will recommend this beautiful lodge to anyone who wants to visit Fiji. Vinaka and Sota Tale! Keep up the amazing work! I haven't spent enough time here to explore and enjoy it more! Everything was amazing!
- Shelley (5/5): The staff are so lovely and friendly, unfortunately the accommodation is uncomfortable. - The staff are wonderful! Very friendly This is a challenging review to write, as I strive to be honest.
The mattress on my bed had springs hanging out, ripped lining and no padding. I woke with pains I'd never had before! There were no cocktails as shown in pictures, and the beach wasn't swimmable, even with the tide in. There are no meal choices; you get what you are given. You have to eat at the same table with people you don't know & are 'forced' to make small talk. The staff sit in the corner and watch you eat, as soon as the last mouthful goes in, they clear the table. If you don't get there early for breakfast, you miss out. There is only a very small amount of food prepared.
- Bruna (7/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): - The staff and how peaceful it was! The food tasted homemade and big quantities Wi-Fi was only accessible around the office area. The amenities are quite dated but they really make sure you’re okay and do everything to make you feel comfortable
- Cotti (7/5): -
- Annelies (7/5): -
- Guest (10/5): Great stay! - Great stay! We loved our time here, wish we had a longer stay Nothing
- Irina (7/5): All in all good experience - Comfortable, good facilities, friendly staff The beach isn’t suitable for swimming or snorkeling- you will need boat ride to nearby beaches
- Karthegeyan (7/5): -
- Vinita (8/5): -
- Guest (7/5): Good location - The beach was very beautiful, with a great location and crystal-clear blue water.
The cabin was also comfortable.
The shower was hot – a definite plus.
It's a great place to experience how locally-run accommodation works – much more authentic and rooted in the local way of life. The facilities need to be modernized; for example, the toilet didnt look good.
The food was very poor – there are no options.
You only get the one dish they serve you, with no choice.
- Pepe (3/5): Very disappointing - Location - The management and staff are very unfriendly; it seems as if they are bothering us tourists. - The bathroom is infamous, inappropriate for the high price of the room. - The bathroom door was broken and wasn't fixed during the entire stay. Other guests told us it was also broken in their room. - They don't clean the room during your entire stay. - They don't serve breakfast until 8:00 AM, even though it gets light at 5:00 AM. - The breakfast is very limited, and they don't replenish anything, not even milk. You have to rush breakfast because the excursions leave at 9:00 AM, and you have to stop by the office to pay before then. - They force you to pay for meals and excursions in cash, but there is no ATM on the island to get the money.
-The excursions are extremely expensive. For example, the cave tour starts around 10:00 AM, and by 11:00 AM, they're already asking you to turn back to get to lunch. In other words, for one hour inside the cave, they charge 130 Fiji dollars per person, outrageous. They also don't provide any equipment, not even goggles. -They answer everyone as if you're bothering them, and when it comes to scheduling, it's the guests who have to adapt to the staff's convenience, not the other way around. -They don't provide Wi-Fi, except in a small area of the Lodge, where everyone hangs out, and the speed is extremely slow. In the rest of the Lodge and the room area, there's another Wi-Fi network, but management doesn't provide you with the password. -The worst point is that they force you to book transfers with a local agent, Mrs. Fin, who is a money-grubbing individual who charges a commission for transfers, both to this hotel and any other in Fiji. She asked us if we were going on a tour and offered to arrange everything herself. We had booked one of the transfers through the hotel, and without our permission, she called the hotel to cancel it and book a different one.
- Erik (9/5): Superb -
- Conrad (10/5): Fantastic location!!!! - Location and the people! Mattress is very uncomfortable
- Priska (7/5): Good -
- Barbara (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melina (8/5): Very good - Very beautiful and idyllic, lots of hammocks to lie around. The bures are pretty simple and old but it’s comfortable. Meal plan is FJD 60pp for breakfast lunch and dinner - pretty yummy. We did a cave tour through them which was FJD 130pp which includes a nice half an hour boat ride each way. Cave had a big area for swimming and an underwater tunnel to a smaller dark cave, led there by the guides. At the beach near the limestone caves were local ladies selling touristy trinkets- needed cash
Very friendly staff!
There is also a beautiful sunset spot just a 10min walk up a little hill
- Jewel (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect place if you want to get away from civilization for a few days. Great staff, good food, beautiful scenery and enough activities to keep you occupied for about four days. The internet was iffy, but I counted that as a plus. I turned my wifi off for my entire stay. No a/c, but we were comfortable enough with the ceiling fan and good breezes.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Small group of guests who bonded together
- Bowyer.k (7/5): Good -
- Mary (8/5): Nice little bungalow in peaceful setting - This is a lovely little place, quiet and beautifully-situated.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good - I had the best brinjal curry ever. I'd have eaten that 3 times a day but when I said that's what I wanted, I don't think they took me seriously ;)
There are comfy hammocks for lazing and kayaks free to use; there's snorkelling just a stroll along the beach and a good hiking trail up to a viewpoint or right over to the Blue lagoon, then back along the beach.
At mealtimes the tables are arranged to encourage mixing with other guests, which works well as it attracts a nice bunch of people.
I loved my little bungalow with covered balcony and was very comfortable in there.
I took the cave trip which was enjoyable. The boatman was very experienced and safe despite the crazy waves and rain. The weather was really bad during my 2 night stay unfortunately - nobody's fault - and I felt there could have been somewhere a bit more comfy to hang out indoors. The patio was completely rainwashed (and it was cold in the wind and rain!) and the chairs/tables in the dining room not really conducive to lounging around. Also it's clear that guests are expected to vacate the dining area straight after meals, especially dinner, with lights going out etc. It's fine, but a little comfy corner for socialising could make the difference.
- Amelia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Oliphant (10/5): Homely Fijian stay. - The food and the staff were incredible. Perfect location to relax and watch the world go by. Some in-room facilities need updating like the shower heads. B
- Ajith (8/5): Great place to come and unwind - We really appreciated that this property was much more affordable than others in the Yasawa Islands. While the accommodation is basic, it’s well-suited for families and provides everything you need. The food was excellent for the Yasawa - huge credit to the kitchen team! They even went above and beyond by making us a birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property runs on solar power, which adds to its charm and sustainability. Highlights of our stay included the fantastic snorkelling trip and a fun walk to the nearby village, where we enjoyed watching the local rugby team train. One aspect that could be improved is the dining experience - staff tend to clear everything, including the tablecloth, while guests are still seated and chatting, which can feel a bit rushed. Some of the snorkelling equipment, particularly the face masks and snorkels, could use replacing. Wi-Fi reception is also quite limited and could be more reliable and available 24 hours.
I would strongly recommend making it a requirement for the snorkelling boat to carry proper steps. In deep water, it's quite difficult to balance on the outboard motor and pull yourself back into the boat safely.
The nearby village bakery has a charming vibe, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be fully operational. On both of our visits, there was very little food available.
- Charlie (3/5): Bugs, bugs, and more bugs - Staff friendly and lodge is in a beautiful location with good snorkeling spots nearby. Quite a relaxing atmosphere and nice views I'm not one who needs a swanky resort with all the trimmings, a well kept place is all I ask for, and Nabua Lodge did not meet that. Room needs some serious TLC - bathroom sink disgusting, window slats broken which let a hornet into my room, bed creaky every time I sat or moved, marks on towels and bedsheets, and I just felt itchy whenever I was in there (I was lying in bed and had ants on me). Whole place needs a deep clean and then some more. Ended up leaving a day early and going to a different place - when I told staff that I was thinking of leaving (I wasn't rude about the rooms, I just said I wanted to leave because I didn't want to do a big 5hr boat journey back to the mainland in one day - which was also true, poor planning from me) the guy on the desk became quite blunt with me. I wasn't asking for a reduced rate which I said, and he was like yes you'll still pay for the 2 nights, so I didn't see why he became that way. That reaction is what spurred me to book elsewhere. Food not great but a significantly cheaper meal plan than other islands I have stayed at, and this shows - big plates of miscellaneous seafood pasta for lunch, but the dinner of curry was actually very good. To top it all off, I found two massive cockroaches in my room, one of which flew at my face and another guest helped me get rid of it. I know that the cockroach flying at me isn't the fault of the resort, but it makes you wonder the cleanliness and maintenance levels overall if in one night I found two cockroaches, one hornet, countless millipedes, and a myriad of ants!! Left the resort with significantly more bites than I arrived with.
- Elke (10/5): Very good Food, big bungalows, clean and very friendly! - Very good Food! Nice place, big bungalows, very Clean.
Very friendly staff.
20 Dollars for a 3 course dinner.
- Alexandra (7/5): A humble break from resorts on a beautiful island, fun kayaking & fishing! - Our stay at Nabua Lodge felt like a more authentic fiji island experience compared to the resorts. The people were kind and provided a more intimate experience with other travellers by having us eat together buffet style. We enjoyed getting to know everyone and exploring Nacula island. Easy walk or kayak to visit Blue lagoon resort, can even stay for lunch with a day pass.
Nabua lodge lended us a fishing handline, we had lots of fun fishing using hermit crabs and shrimp as bait! The bathrooms need some work, cleanliness was poor particularly with the shower and toilet. We got hot in the rooms even with the fan going, making it hard to sleep. And both got quite sick during the stay, assumably from the water, so would recommend a filtered water bottle or water tablets.
- Mary (6/5): Beautiful setting. - Ceiling fan didn’t keep the unit cool. There were large cockroaches in our room at night. Location was great. Some of the staff were super friendly
- Jasmine (7/5): Good - Bed was comfy and large room Food was average wouldn't stay for more than 2 nights
- Julia (6/5): Basic Bungalow with some Activities - It‘s basic bungalows, no warm water but they are quite spacious. Theres a fan and electricity. Drinking water is rainwater. You can have snorkel gear and kayaks for free. It seems quite run down and would need some work. We couldnt do any of the activities, because we were only 2 people which wasnt enough to do it (Village visit or the Caves). You can‘t really swim at low tide, only when it‘s high tide, also the snorkeling. Food was okay-ish.
- Elle (7/5): Good - The location was wonderful, the food was really delicious! I liked the very large bathrooms and our bure was attractive and well-maintained. The boat trip to the nearby caves was very, very nice. No hot water for the shower, no air conditioning in the room and it was really, really hot. A floor-standing fan is all I would need to keep the still air moving. Mosquitoes were also a problem.
- Cheri (10/5): Bula! No hurry, no worry, you're on Fiji time - Paradise ❤️
- Eoin (2/5): I wouldn not recommend - Nice views, use of kayaks was good and the snorkelling activity was very enjoyable The room was in poor condition and the mattress was very uncomfortable and dirty. Lots of insects in the room and bathroom/toilet was very dirty
- Nadine (6/5): The real Fiji - a homestay experience with wonderful staff. And great snorkelling too! -
- Ekaterina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deepa (7/5): Good -
- Ľuboš (10/5): Everything was great - Location and authenticity All good
- María (7/5): Good - Bures are big, specially if you're traveling as a couple. The food was very nice. We could book a tour to the caves through them and everything went good (120 fjd per person). Staff is friendly and accommodating. In terms of meal plan, you only pay the number of meals that you actually have. Vinaka 🌺 It'd be nice to have a bit more variety for breakfast and more flexible times for meals.
The rooms only have fan.
- Declan (9/5): Short but sweet stay in a tropical safehaven in paradise so beautiful! - Incredible place surrounded by greenery and incredible beach front views and palm trees. Private beach with multiple hammocks to relax all day in. Lovely staff and organised meals which were delicious. Staff were organised and kept to themselves a bit but were also there if you needed assistance. Electricity would come on and turn off sometimes throughout the day and night but wasn't a big deal. Also the bure got a bit stuffy even with windows open but it’s understandable with climate. So worth the stay regardless!!!
- Eider (3/5): Poor - The site is wonderful, a true paradise. The fantastic food. On the one hand say that we spent 5 nights and at no moments we get the bedding, nor the towels. It is an island where it is very hot and there is a lot of humidity, so it is very much and the truth to spend 5 nights without changing, nor offered a change of bedding or towels did not seem correct. On the other hand, say, that the service was wiffi is not real, I only functioned one day, we did not give us any more explanation, we were totally incommunicado, nor being able to send a message to our families so that they knew that we were well on the other side of the world. Finally, that some Lodge workers were very friendly but we had the feeling of living under constant surveillance at every step and I really feel to breakfast, dine ... with my partner, not with all the guests and less without asking if we care.
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Brianne (10/5): Peaceful - Nabua lodge is a beautiful property and the staff are kind and welcoming. The beach was really relaxing. There are hammocks to relax in and it was so quiet. The meals were plentiful and tasty. The WiFi is so so but do you really need it going to a place like the Yasawas? The boat trip to the caves was well worth it and also to Blue Lagoon to go snorkeling. The snorkeling just off the beach is not the best re: coral but there are still plenty of things to see. I saw tons of fish and a spotted ray! The sunset viewpoint is absolutely stunning and you get the whole ridge to enjoy the view and listen to the Fijian Whistlers making their sunset songs. Highly recommend staying here!
- Betty (9/5): Recomanded - The complex is charming and clean compared to Fiji, the staff are caring and pleasant, good value for money.
A very beautiful place. The village is amazing, and the tea house. I was told that there was no room available for additional days, but the place was half full and in booking there was room. Strange...
- Aya (8/5): Not laxuarios lodge . But simple and relaxing. Bed was comfy for me . - Bure had privacy. They has small bathroom and shower inside cottage. Insect inside bathroom.
- Amandine (9/5): Superb - Fantastic welcome in this small family own lodge. The lunches provided were all excellent. The location is amazing with a beautiful beach, coral reef for snorkelling, you can walk on the island, visit the village, and kayaking. So many thinks to do on site. Trips to the blue lagoon and cave are available and not far. We highly recommend this lodge suitable for everyone who is looking for a reel Fijien experience. I just want to precise it's off grid and comfort is basic. It is not a resort. It was a little bit hot in our Bure despite the fan. There is no air con and not plenty of (hot) water.
It was not an issue for us, though, but it could be for people who are expecting more modern comfort.
Mattresses were good.
- Kobi (9/5): amazing stay would reconnect - Nabua was awesome stay, beach on the property is beautiful and facilities were really nice. Food was 10/10
- Yaacov (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sam (9/5): Superb -
- Allison (7/5): Great location on Nacula island! We met so many great people from Nabua Lodge, The Tea Hut (Homestay), Safe Landing, The - The grounds were beautiful & well kept & located waterfront on the most stunning blue and Green ocean. There were several hammocks available for use as well as kayaks, life jackets, flippers & snorkelling gear that you can borrow.
The Bures were very basic but they were spacious. There were two chairs, a coffee table, a wardrobe & a fridge. The Bures had large fantastic front decks with 2 chairs.
The bathroom was fairly large and had a toilet, shower & sink. The water pressure pretty good and I never had a cold shower (warm to hot depending on timing). They provided hand soap, single use shampoo & 3 towels.
Wifi was pretty good. It only worked by the office though.
The staff were (for the most part) friendly.
Meals were served 3X’s a day (breakfast is buffet but lunch & dinner are plated). It’s assumed that you will be eating. If you will not be, you need to let the office know so they do not prepare you a meal. They bang on the drum to indicate that the meal is ready. They are $20 FJD.
You can also eat at The Tea House for $20 FJD a meal (you need to order 3 hours a head of time).
I’ve also heard that you can buy food & drink at The Blue lagoon if you prefer to eat there.
There is filtered rainwater available to drink free of charge. They also sell bottled water if you prefer.
They sell beer $7 FJD
Lots of hiking! We hiked everyday that we were there. There was a ridge trail that you can take over to Blue Lagoon/Oarsmen-It took us an hour. Three lovely birds flew above us most of the hike watching over us. Walking back along the shoreline is abit shorter. Watch the tides! We also did a small ‘hike’ to the village, where we attended church (great experience). Woman need dresses past their knees, men need long shorts & collar shirts (preferably). Sandals are allowed. Hats are not allowed to be worn in the village. They collect monetary offerings so remember to bring cash. Better reach with the wifi would ideal.
Not enough Shampoo provided & no conditioner in the shower.
The beds were small, hard & lumpy & the springs were squeaky. The pillows were small & lumpy & the beds just had one thin sheet; no blanket. I woke up with a sore back both mornings. The beds should be replaced.
No AC. (Although, we never found it to be a problem). It’s really windy at night & the wind keeps the rooms cool. In fact, I was quite chilly both nights.
There are ton of tiny bugs in the room. If you bring food to the room, make sure you seal it tight. It would be great if they provide plastic bins to lock food away.
The patios had uncomfortable plastic chairs & no drink table.
No electricity between sunset & sunrise.
The food was pricy for the quality
- Gaye (8/5): Very good - The staff were friendly and readily answered any questions we had. They arranged boat trips readily to the caves and the Blue Lagon beach and for snorkeling. Our room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The grounds of the lodge were peaceful. The food was good quality wholesome cooking - thank you for the experience of eating octopus - it was so tender.
Thank you all for a wonderful Fijian experience.
- Izabella (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay at Nabua lodge in Nacula island. Hosts and staff were lovely. - Very nice food Didn’t have hot water at the start but then got moved bure and the tap water gave my husband diarrhoea but then from then on we just drank bottled water
- George (10/5): The food was amazing and the available activities were great. The interaction with the other guests - The staff are amazing people, they were helpful and made us feel like we were part of their family. We will be going back in the future. Schedule the hot water and let the guests know when the hot water is available.
- Bardon (8/5): Very good -
- Sayer (9/5): Wonderful staff and fresh, delicious food. -
- Giuseppe (6/5): Pleasant -
- Francesca (8/5): Very good - We had an absolutely fabulous time at Nabua Lodge! Wishing we stayed longer. The island is absolutely gorgeous and the accommodation grounds are beautiful and well-maintained; stepping off the boat into the crystal clear blue water and then into the gorgeous grounds was like entering heaven for us. The food was consistently delicious; it was a mix of western food with Fijian - sometimes we had pasta with crab or bolognese, other times things like traditional Fijian fish with coconut sauce and rice. The free kayaks and snorkel hire was a big bonus; we really enjoyed kayaking out over the 100m or so of sea grass into the aqua blue waters to swim. You can walk along the coast (ideally at low tide) or over the island ridge (up a steep path) for about an hour to get to Blue Lagoon / Oarsmann resorts over on the other side of the island; it’s a fabulous walk and a nice swim and cocktail on the other side, we loved doing it. Nabua Lodge was so relaxing and quiet; we only had between 5-10 other guests while we were there and the beach was almost always empty. The bures are spacious and quite simple. Lots of hammocks and comfortable spots to rest. A heavenly holiday! Some minor things such as:
- intermittent hot water (not a big problem though and seems to be the case throughout Fiji so not a big complaint)
- the fan in our room was very weak so sometimes was hard to sleep in the hot rooms
- it was quite windy (though this was nice on hot days to keep cool)
- the bathroom and toilet drains smelled quite badly at times - again though, there’s limited plumbing and facilities on the island so wasn’t really a problem
- Sophie (8/5): Perfect place to stay if you want a very calm/relaxed place. - Really nice location at the beach. Bit of snorkeling near by, nice walks over the hills.
Extremely friendly staff, cool activities (snorkeling, caves) Very strict eating times, very windy.
- Ines (9/5): Superb - Staff really nice, and nice food.
Nice snorkeling around, great to have kayaks to borrow. The sun hide at the beach at 4pm what make it a little bit annoying. Rooms where really big, but really old, ours has a linking on the roof, with the heavy rain it wasn’t nice.
Our shower was broken and we told them twice but no one came to check so we had to take the showers on the other Bure that we rent.
