The kids loved the pool and we all loved how spacious the property was. Nothing really. Location was probably just slightly too far out of the centre of town for our youngest to walk, however, four mile beach was a short walk away.

The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful with advice about the vicinity. The staff were even on site on Christmas day! We had the best time and will return. The house was well equipped and comfortable and had all that we needed. Close to 4 Mile Beach too. We had a car so found the location perfect. There was the option for a minibus shuttle if needed too. The Sunday market at Port Douglas is not to be missed! Nothing - it was fab.

The door in the main bedroom was a sliding door that didn’t slide so permanently open. The lock on the bathroom door didn’t work. There were no bins in either bathrooms.

Toller Pool, sehr freundlicher Service, da hat einfach alles gepasst. Mit einem kurzen Spaziergang kommt man an die Marina oder ins Zentrum, sowohlfür Kurz- als auch Langzeitmiete absolut traumhaft. Wir bedanken uns für einen fantastischen Aufenthalt. Wenn man ein Haar in der Suppe finden will, schafft man das bestimmt, aber hier hat wirklich alles gepasst.

Karen (10/5): Beautiful clean townhouses with relaxing pool - Travelled with an older volunteer for work and tagged on a few days' holiday. Loved the two levels, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms, one on each floor. Place was immaculate with everything you need. The pool was really lovely. And the unit had fans and breezes so we didn't need to use the air-conditioning. Nothing! Just wished we had hired a car to get around. But a shuttle for $10 gets you to Macrossen St in 5 mins. So it was no big deal.

Rene (7/5): Redelijke accommodatie en Port Douglas is fijne plaats. - Appartement was ruim en schoon, personeel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Appartement en inrichting gedateerd. Weinig / geen toezicht buiten kantoortijden waardoor bewoners er soms een zooitje van maken, bijvoorbeeld gemeenschappelijke bbq niet schoonmaken na gebruik.
Nigel (9/5): Super-duper family apartment! - Nice and large apartment which was modern, clean and well maintained. Super comfy beds and pillows. All the facilities you could need. The hosts were super friendly, helpful and approachable. All the basic items you need are provided. Decent location with no traffic noise and a 20 minute walk into Port Douglas front. Would definitely stay here again. Nothing we didn't like, but parking a bit tight for the modern SUV that most people drive. Pool area a bit small. But none of the above detracted from our stay.

Keirs (8/5): Spacious, clean and fit for purpose - a lovely place to settle in. - The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed for our four night stay. The full kitchen allowed us to cook and save money on eating out, the WiFi was good and the cooling system effective. Bedrooms and bathrooms were nice, appreciated the wardrobes with full length mirrors. Comfotable with lots of space. The shared pool was quite small, especially for the amount of people using it. Our kids only used it once and were squashed down the shallow end by big groups with inflatables and balls. They didn't go in again and every time we checked it was occupied. There's no public pool in Port Douglas, but we ended up at the patrolled part of Four Mile Beach with a stinger net every day which was lovely, so didn't impact us too much.

Would be a struggle once it gets warmer. But overall I wouldn’t let this stop me from staying at the property.

Ross (10/5): Stayed with another family and had a great time. Mel provided us with an extra rollaway bed and Communication was excell - Good, tidy space for 2 families. Great pool & bbq facilities Upstairs shower didn’t drain too well and bathroom got quite wet.

Tenesha (10/5): Perfect little cove for a port Douglas getaway - The property blew us away. For a 3 night stay in port Douglas for 7 people, we were strapped with options then I came across this place. The facilities were beautiful and the apartments were gorgeous. Fully stock kitchens, light up mirrors, private balcony’s, and just a 2 minute walk down the road is a e-scooter hub for getting around really easily. If I did have to choose one thing that wasn’t my favourite it was the beds. They were a bit hard and the pillows too hard as well.
John (9/5): Mel and Andy were very helpful in advising us of places to visit and eat - nothing was too much trouble for them - Well placed. Maybe a little far for convenient walking but a very short drive. Nothings that that adversely affected us.

Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The standard townhouse came with all the facilities you'd expect. The property was great, and the pool was good to cool down after sightseeing. The property is located about a 10-minute walk from Port Douglas and the beach. The main bedroom mattress was old, the springs gave little support and it was generally uncomfortable. This was the only issue in what was a great location and I highly recommend the place to stay.

Kevin (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Tropical Nites. Mel & Andy are absolutely amazing people. Friendly very helpful with any questions you need answered or needs you require. The units are clean spacious and fully contained. The grounds are clean and well kept and the wildlife will keep you amused come dusk and dawn time. We cannot recommend Tropical Nites highly enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Niamh (10/5): Because of staying at this property I want to revisit Port Douglas asap!. - The place was wonderful, so close to town, very clean, had everything we needed, being able to walk straight out to the pool was also a big bonus. I liked everything about this property.

Lynne (10/5): Great experience would definitely recommend - Clean spacious accommodation with air con and access to washing and cooking facilities Access to town. We had hired a car which was useful for my elderly parent. It wasn’t obvious on booking that there was a 20-30 min walk into town.

Rebecca (10/5): Gorgeous stay in Port Douglas - Really lovely well equipped townhouse, lots of space, gorgeous pool, close to beach and port Douglas. So good we stayed an extra few nights. Loved that we could use the bbq too. Staff are also lovely. Nothing all of it was good.

Sandra (9/5): Superb - A great place for a family holiday. Nice sized townhouses Lovely and welcoming family who run the accommodation who happily arranged a boat trip for us. Bedrooms are large and layout worked well - 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs..Kitchen and living area is well equipped and compact. We used outdoor table and chairs for brekkie. Loved the outdoor bbq and tables and had a couple of evening meals there A walk into town but we enjoyed it.
Carly (10/5): Amazing! Thank you!! - Lovely accommodation!! Clean and safe. It was great that we could request access to another bedroom in our apartment so we could all sleep separately. Aircon units and fans throughout the apartment were great. Lovely pool. Helpful staff. One aircon unit upstairs didn’t seem to be working or else we just didn’t know how to get it started.

Thanks Mel for opening downstairs 2nd bathroom for us as we stayed 9 nights. Well equipped apartment with fans & aircon & we enjoyed cooling off in the pool after being out & about during the day.

Adrienne (9/5): Roomy and comfortable townhouses - would definitely stay again. - The townhouse was roomy, quiet and very relaxing. The kitchen and bathrooms looked newly renovated and the place was exceptionally clean. The beds were comfy and we had heaps of privacy with the trees covering our bedroom window. It felt like a home away from home and a great place to retreat to after days out adventuring. The owner was super friendly and helpful. Nothing.
Anita (8/5): Great place - Very comfortable villa with all amenities and access to a heated pool. Twenty minutes on foot from the centre and the beach or 4 mins drive. Great hosts! Highly recommended!
