• Günter (8/5): - Sehr sauber und gemütlich. Tolle Lage. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Die Stiege in den zweiten Stock war sehr steil und eng und mit zwei großen schweren Koffern eine Herausforderung. Ein Fernseher wäre toll gewesen.

• Geke (8/5): Prima verblijf en een vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaresse - Het ontbijt was prima. Voldoende variatie. Miste alleen een eitje. De B&B is een goede uitvalsbasis om Toronto te verkennen. Vlakbij een Metrostation, en op loopafstand van een variatie aan eetgelegenheden. Er was niets wat mij is tegengevallen.

• LINDA (10/5): Excellent - The kitchen is lovely and the options are way beyond what I expected. There should be someone to help with the luggage up the stairs.
• Shruti (7/5): comfortable and met my needs for my one night in Toronto - I did not eat the breakfast. The location and figuring out parking was a little challenging due to arriving in the dark, in the rain but the host/staff were very helpful when I called to find out that information. My room was up 4 flights of stairs, it was a bit of a hike but the host did help me with my bags when I arrived. I didn't realize it was going to be so many steps when I booked the room.

• Andrew (7/5): Just the one suggestion of a shower upgrade, otherwise fabulous. - Location was excellent. Not in the centre of town but within easy walk of underground station on a key line enabling easy travel to anywhere in the city. Host was very kind and everything very well prepared from arriving to breakfast and ability to stay quite late on the day of leaving. Shower was unmovable and really needs replacing, though does work and once water is warm very nice. When first entering though, the water is cold and you can't avoid it when switching it on.

Daar werkt de host wel erg hard voor

• Angelika (10/5): Perfekter Urlaub in Kanada. - Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit großem Bett und genug Ablage und Stellfläche. Ein Bad mit Dusche und WC im Zimmer. Alles sehr sauber und ordentlich. Gefrühstückt haben wir an einer großen "Theke" in der Küche von Frau Wang. Die Auswahl an Brot, Aufschnitt, Säfte, Marmeladen, Quark, frisches Obst, herrlich. Nichts fehlte uns. Die Sauberkeit auch in der Küche perfekt. Oft kamen wir mit anderen Gästen ins Gespräch. Es war für uns das erste mal, das wir kein Hotel gebucht haben und wir haben es nicht bereut. Liebe Frau Wang, sie waren immer sehr herzlich zu uns. Dankeschön. "Ihre Sisters" -

Die Fenster sind leider nicht schalldicht isoliert, sodass man ab 5 Uhr morgens immensen Straßenlärm hört.

• Veronica (10/5): Struttura super consigliata :) - Consigliamo molto questa struttura a Toronto, la stanza era piccola ma molto curata nei dettagli, accogliente e pulita. Ogni giorno venivano cambiati gli asciugamani e ci venivano fornite nuove bottigliette d’acqua. La proprietaria è una signora molto gentile, la mattina ci faceva trovare una colazione molto varia e abbondante. C’è anche la possibilità di avere un posto auto e la posizione è comoda per raggiungere a piedi il centro della città.

Plenty of towels, airco worked well. Mary was a great host: plenty of choice at breakfast. Location was good for a conference at the Rotman School of Management (just a 15-minute walk). My room was on the street side. Traffic noise didn't bother me (it was very reasonable), but if you're a very light sleeper, this may be a concern.

• Janet (7/5): I enjoyed it enough that I am returning in December. - Clean, convenient, cozy neighbourhood. The yard is beautiful and peaceful. The host, Mary, was very kind and caring. She answered my emails promptly. Mary allowed me to drop off my backpack ahead of check in. The only area to improve would be the breakfast. It is promoted as a Bed and Breakfast. For me to change my rating, I would suggest that condiments like butter and jam be in individual packaging, as it would be safer and healthier. Another idea would be to have milk and cream for hot beverages.
• Snedronningen (9/5): Glad to have stayed - This was the cleanest little overnight stay that I've had in downtown Toronto. Everything is immaculate and well cared for. Likely to satisfy even the pickiest renters. No tv in the room means no noisy neighbours. But some may look for this luxury.

• Mary (9/5): A Hidden Gem in Toronto! - The property was spotlessly clean with a very comfortable bed! The shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. The air con was powerful & very welcome! The accommodation was in an area near lots of restaurants & shops & only a short walk to the metro station. Mary the owner was absolutely delightful & and an extremely hard worker - she never stops!! Tea making facilities in the bedroom would have been better than down the stairs. Breakfast was interesting being in the owners own kitchen & we felt slightly awkward the first day, but we were totally on it the next day & found it much better.. We were on the top floor & there were quite a few stairs to climb with heavy cases.

However, the property had some noise issues, making it difficult to rest peacefully. We could hear the guests next door clearly, which led to early wake-ups around 7 AM each day. Unfortunately, this made it hard to fully enjoy the space. Considering the noise levels, the price felt a bit high for the experience, especially since I could have stayed in a 3-star hotel in NYC for a similar rate. With some improvements in soundproofing, this place could offer much better value

Well laid out room despite the small size, the space management was excellent. Clean and fresh bed linen and towels, clean and modern bathroom. Super comfy bed. The hostess was very friendly and the kitchen continental breakfast was very homely, varied and delicious. The sloping roof sides in the room were a little constraining.
