• Manuela (2/5): Auf keinen Fall, Finger weg! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert! - Die Lage Bereits in den Tagen vor der Anreise war die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter äußerst mangelhaft. Auf zwei Nachfragen bezüglich der erforderlichen Registrierung erhielten wir keine Antwort. Die angeblich vorab auszufüllenden Formulare haben wir bis heute nicht erhalten. Auch vor Ort setzte sich der negative Eindruck fort: Für zwei Personen standen lediglich ein unsauberes Handtuch und ein Duschtuch zur Verfügung. Das Waschbecken war verstopft, und das Badezimmer insgesamt in einem ungepflegten, schmutzigen Zustand. Ein Föhn war ebenfalls nicht vorhanden. Das Zimmer wurde ausdrücklich mit Küchenzeile gebucht, um sich selbst versorgen zu können. Allerdings funktionierte der Herd nicht – stattdessen gab es lediglich eine einzelne Induktionsplatte. Kochutensilien wie Töpfe fehlten komplett, und die Schubladen des Küchenschranks waren sogar zugeschraubt, sodass sie nicht genutzt werden konnten. Die Möbel waren stark abgenutzt, mit abgesplitterten Kanten und unsauberen Oberflächen. Insgesamt machte das Zimmer einen heruntergekommenen und ungepflegten Eindruck. Die Bilder auf der Buchungsseite entsprechen längst nicht mehr dem Ist-Zustand! Fazit: Der Aufenthalt war nicht nur enttäuschend, sondern inakzeptabel. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist vollkommen unangemessen. Das Zimmer eignet sich keinesfalls als Ort zur Erholung – im Gegenteil, wir haben versucht, so wenig Zeit wie möglich dort zu verbringen. Wäre es möglich gewesen, hätten wir sofort eine alternative Unterkunft gebucht. Der Rauchmelder an der Decke besteht nur noch aus dem unteren Teil, das an die Decke geschraubt ist. Absolut fahrlässig und gefährlich! Eine Entschädigung erscheint in diesem Fall mehr als angebracht!

Wegen Sauberkeit haben wir nicht dort übernachtet trotzdem für die 4 Nächte kein Cent zurückbekommen. Aufpassen immer die Matratzen und unterbett kontrollieren. Kondom Verpackungen....

• Mushakaj (1/5): - Es gleicht einem obdachlosen Unterkunft. Wer Hygiene sucht vergebens. Ob Wasserkocher, oder Kühlschrank überall Keime. Der Boden und die Fliesen sehr verdreckt, Schuhe sollten an bleiben ! Geschirr wenn man Glück hat 1 Gabel ,2 Buttermesser , 1 Esslöffel und eine ✂️ sehr hilfreich für eine 4 Personen bezogene Unterkunft. Gebucht wurde ein Doppelbett und 2 einzelne bett Funktionen falls doch noch jemand dazu stoßt. Bekommen haben wir 4 einzelne Bette auf 2 Ebene. Das ist ein No go Ich würde es niemanden empfehlen für diesen Betrag bist du im hotel viel besser aufgehoben ohne Bakterien.

• Lisa (2/5): Fotos top, Realität flop - Das Zimmer sah online deutlich besser aus – in echt leider ein Catfish. Dusche kaputt, Reinigung nur sporadisch, und insgesamt ziemlich abgewohnt. Preislich okay, aber für den Zustand trotzdem noch zu teuer.

Nice place just to sleep and make your own breakfast or late-night snacks. The fridge was broken and the bathroom was dirty and smelled like cigarettes. Not a nice place if you stay in for a long time.

Die Einrichtung war ganz anders als auf den Bildern, Kleine Kommode neben dem Bwtt hat gefehlt • Die Wohnung war nicht sauber – Überall viel Staub, an Lampen, im Badezimmer • Wichtige Ausstattungen haben gefehlt - WLAN, Föhn, Kaffeemaschine, vergleichen sie meine Fotos mit den Fotos was der Anbieter rausgestellt hat Ich habe mich in der Wohnung nicht wohlgefühlt und finde es sehr enttäuschend, dass hier mit irreführenden Bildern gearbeitet wird. Ich kann die Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen und hoffe, dass Booking.com solche Inserate künftig besser überprüft.

I never thought one can find such a property in Germany - Relatively easy to reach to the Cologne Arena and the Main Train station (about 20 min by foot). Everything else was a complete disaster... so be carefully what you choose. The picture they posted have nothing to do with the reality. It's hard to believe that such a 'hotel' exists in Germany, in particular in a city like Cologne. The apartment was a disaster in terms of cleanliness. The walls were dirty, the floor was sticky, there were bugs (including silverfish), the window frames were filthy, and the curtains had lost their original color long ago – nothing seems to have ever been properly cleaned. Let me add that the kitchenette water tap did not work, the toilet water tank was not ok (they fixed next day), the freezer was absolutely infect. Booking.com did nothing to help resolve the issue. If you expect them to support you in such cases, think again. I will be escalating this further, as it feels like they are protecting the property instead of the customer.

Die Ausstattung war mit Mängeln behaftet, Geschirr dreckig mit Essensresten oder kaputt, der TV funktionierte nicht. An der Wand sah man einen feuchten Fleck. Man kam sich vor wie im 19 Jahrhundert. Am Eingang roch es nach Urin und Zigaretten, obwohl es eine Nichtraucherwohnung ist. Mit dem Personal könnte man nicht reden, das Geld könnte man sich nicht zurückerstatten lassen
• Andreas Thomas Michael (1/5): ungepflegt und stark vernachlässigt - Nur die relativ zentrale Lage ist hier positiv erwähnenswert. Wir hatten das Zimmer Nr. 24; nur über das können wir berichten: 1. Schlüsselübergabe ist nur bis 20:00 möglich obwohl diese über Pin-Codes und Pin-geschützten Schlüsselkasten erfolgte. Kein persönlicher Kontakt; somit wäre eine Zutrittsmöglichkeit 24 Stunden/Tag möglich. 2. Es erfolgte kein Hinweis hinsichtlich des Zusatzbett-Aufbaus. 3. Es war kein Zugangs-Code etc. zum Wifi zu finden. Mehrere Lampen hatten keine Leuchtmittel; für eine Nachttischlampe gab es keine Steckdose. Das Kochfeld zeigt eine Störung an; Code blinkt. 4. Zimmer war nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Staub auf Blumen, Nachttischlampe, Fensterbrett (Zigarettenasche) und Bad (Haare etc.). Auf dem Fußboden vor der Küche ist ein unschöner Fleck. 5. Dusch-WC war in einem erbarmungswürdigen Zustand. Tür, Fußbodenleiste und Brausen-Halterung defekt; Schimmel in Dusche; Wasser kam zu ca. 70 % aus dem Schlauch und nur zu 30 % aus dem Duschkopf was zu Überschwemmungen im Bad führt. 6. Die Bilder bei boocking.com sind extrem geschönt; es wäre zu klären, ob es überhaupt ein Zimmer mit dieser Ausstattung gibt. Die Bilder hatten überhaupt nichts mit unserem Zimmer gemein.
• Yasamin (1/5): Sehr schlimmer Aufenthalt in dieser ,,Wohnung ,, . - An der Unterkunft hat mir nichts gefallen An der Unterkunft hat mir leider nichts gefallen , die Kommunikation war sehr schlecht , meine Bedürfnisse und Erwartungen wurden nicht respektiert und akzeptiert , meine Wunschbedürfniss wurden nicht erfüllt . Es war überall sehr schmutzig , unhygienisch ; IM BAD : die Toilette ging nicht und trotz Bescheid geben wurde nichts geändert , es wurde nicht ernst genommen . DIE KÜCHE : benutztes schmutziges Geschirr , stinkender Kühlschrank . DIE ZIMMER : sehr schmutzig , überall Staub , nicht wie auf den Fotos , sehr schmutzige und kaputte Gegenstände , kein guter Aufbauplan . Es nicht nicht weiter zu empfehlen , alles war sehr schlimm.

The internet doesn't work, the TV doesn't work, and the kitchen doesn't work. For two people, they only give you one large towel and one small one for four days. If you ask for another, they'll tell you it's not allowed. It's all amazing!

• N. (1/5): Bad - Nothing. İf possible i would give 0. Everything. Before accmodation Hotel, Hotel sent me an-email atteched a form which was german. So i dıdnot fill it. Because i font know german. The fırst day hotel dıdnot sent any pasword for enterence. After one hour searching i could find somewhere to print the form. İ fill it and then send me the password. Room smells mildew. İt makes people cancer. İ sent a massege to change the room. But they dıdnot. WC door handle was still broken. They dıdnot fixed even doorhandle. There is no Walter outlet. After having shover every where under the Water. There is not any cleaning stuff. Booking.com i am asking you if you checked the aparts already. You should be ashamed to be agent such hotel.

I needed a cheap accommodation solution which was met. - Great communication from the A-partments team, especially about the security pin to enter the building and pin to access lock box for the key. All the basics were there - shower, toilet, toilet paper, kitchen sink, crockery, fridge, lighting, beds, closet, storage space. The bathroom stank of rotten egg gas, presumably something wrong with the toilet cistern. Unfortunately, my child has a sensitive nose, so this was bad. The shower head was broken, so I need to use a rubber elastic band and spoon to prop it up for basic showering, also undesirable.

• Inathara (5/5): Passable - Wonderful location, I come once a year and I always stay there in apartment 7, this time I was put in apartment 17 I didn't like it very much, there was just no space for the kitchen. There were no pots and pans and since it was a 7-day stay, there should have been bed linen and towels to change, there were no pots and pans to cook with.

I was shocked but left with no other option then going to the stores to organize some cleaning materials and disinfect the entire place. The location was awesome, so it was the easiest solution to make it better.

Bathroom floods when using the shower due to only having shallow shower tray with plastic shower curtain. front door handle loose bathroom door handle completely unattached so would fall off. kettle unusable due to limescale
• Gareth (1/5): Location not where it says - awful small apartment, don’t book - Nothing Booked this because the map shows it’s 1km south of Koln city centre - but we were sent to a different place, in Rodenkirchen, 6kms south of the city. Really frustrating. The apartment we stayed in was tiny, dirty, tired. Awful stay
• Patricia (8/5): Very pleasant apartment at a great location - Location was excellent, very central, very pleasant, close to a metro station 2 stops from Cologne main station, very nice bars a restaurants near by and across the road from the chocolate museum! The apartment itself was very pleasant, clean enough, spacious, well equipped, comfortable beds, good TV, good fridge and kitchen and we loved that it was split into 2 levels, so we didn't feel crowded and it feels very spacious. Very minor downside/issues was the weak WiFi, small towels (hand towels only), water temperature in the shower kept changing while showering but we weren't too bothered about these minor issues. Indoor blinds were broken, so they need to be fixed but we personally didn't need them because the outside shutter/blind was enough. The apartment felt a little bit hot at times but it's a cool apartment and it was summer and there aren't fans or Aircon in the apartment that we noticed, so it might get very hot during very hot days. Overall, very nice and pleasant apartment at a fantastic location, so we would stay there again. Weak internet, small towels (hand towels only), thin pillows, unstable shower temperature, a bit of a complicated process to receive the access instructions and host doesn't really communicate but all worked well and everything else was fine, particularly the location.
• Allen (8/5): Great - The property was in a good location with shops close by and many transport access. The apartment was clean and came with many amenities. The apartment really needs a fan or some sort of cooling as it was too hot and difficult to sleep at night.

• Ahmad (4/5): Disappointing - The location There was a lack of towels in the shower and there was also no shampoo and toiletries. We were a couple and he didn't provide us with towels at all and when I asked for towels the owner told me that they don't provide towels and I have to take care of it myself!!

• Cozens (8/5): Nice Property but check the location as not all are in the city centre. - Really nice property located close to trams and some nice local facilities. The only issue was that on booking.com it says that the property is located in the centre of Cologne but the provider is actually renting a couple of properties and the one we rented was not in the main city centre so there was some confusion when trying to locate the property.

From the day first there was no water in the washroom, we complained but no response The TV is not working a lot of the time we try but no working, not clean pots and we left the apartment 2 days before our check out date and we asked for a property refund for 2 days but they didn't refund.. very bad experience..
• Nana (5/5): The host should be sincere period. - Clean and beautiful apartment. My friend and myself booked this apartment because we saw the location to be let’s say 2km which is closer to the central station but on the day of the arrival it was rather 9 to 10km from the central station. Checked in successfully and there was no internet so I contacted the host and it took 24 hours for him to send the name of the WiFi and password which he knew it wasn’t working at least he should have explained but he didn’t and we waited for 2days after before they came to fix it .

• Gouravdeep (3/5): Good Location - location was very good. apartment was very cleaned. kitchen and wasroom dispointed. in the kitchen noting any basic thing. in the washroom shower was broken, fixed with plastic. and toilet seat was broken. same thing no any shampoo no any bath gel. towel was very low quality. same ammount we spent in frankfurt. everything was superb.

The hosts answered me only at the day of my arrival. The other days no one answered my emails and calls. The doorhand was broken.

• Claudia (1/5): The worst place we have ever stayed at-we had to check out after 1st night - I didn't like anything Shower was broken, mould everywhere in the apartment, not clean, bad not comfortable at all, pictures are way too nice to what we have found.Place not secure, locks on the door quiet unsecured.We booked for 4 nights, checked out after the first night as we were afraid for our safety there and also the apartment was dirty and many things were cheap and not working.We asked for money back for the remaining 3 nights and explained why we had to move.The host didn't care and was very abrupt in saying that the place is located central and in a very much sought-after area.Contacted booking to make a complaint, they told us that all we can do is to leave this review to prevent others of using this property. We had no time to read the reviews before, but we have learned a lesson, I suppose, and please do be aware that what these people say here in the reviews it is true.We paid €550 for 4 nights, stayed 1 night, reported and they were careless to return some money back.I would not recommend this place and host to anyone! It's been a very bad experience with the host and the place itself. This place shouldn't be on booking.

• Hezil (1/5): Bad - Nothing Main problem was LOCATION mentioned in booking.com, takes you to other property. TV was not working, WIFI was not working properly. etc etc. In general, Totally all my experience was bad bad. I will never recommend anyone to this property.
• Sarah (6/5): Acceptable depending on your needs/expectations - The flat was equipped to a reasonable standard - there was a bed, table, fridge and some kitchen items. The location was pretty good, about 20 minutes walk from the central train station (Koln HBF) and directly opposite the chocolate museum, which has a few bar/restaurant type establishments next to it. It served my needs perfectly well as I was out most of the day and did not do any cooking. I travelled to Cologne at short notice during a massive trade fair (170,000 visitors), so no other accommodation was available; this apartment met my expectations, albeit they were rather low. The flat could have been cleaner - there was a bit of dust and the bathroom had a rather unpleasant smell, plus it was impossible to use the shower without water getting all over the bathroom floor. There was an empty cigarette box on the floor and a random pair of socks (presumably left behind). The iron did not work and though there were two towels provided, these were hand towels not bath towels. The pillows were very odd and not comfortable - like a pillow case had been stuffed with bits of cloth. When I arrived, it was easy to get the keys out of the lockbox, but the door was not unlocked as I had been informed by the host, so I was initially unsure whether I had the right apartment, and it took some time to figure out how the lock worked. On the last night of my stay, I encountered another guest who was struggling to access the keys for their apartment as they had not been given any instructions. I would advise checking the location when booking and ensuring that you obtain clear instructions for accessing the keys and apartment.
