• Mónica (8/5): - La situación increíble, esta dentro de la muralla y está todo cerca. Juan fue muy atento y nos facilitó aparcamiento ya que había procesiones. La casa tiene todas las comodidades y nos dejó cositas para desayunar. No tenía ascensor

Pudimos dejar el coche en un garaje de su propiedad. Nos dieron flexibilidad para la salida e incluso dejaron tener el coche en el garaje hasta más tarde para poder disfrutar el día en la ciudad Es un tercero sin ascensor, que aunque no nos importó puesto que solo nos quedamos una noche es algo terrible tener en cuenta.

• ELISABETH (9/5): C'était parfait pour nous!! - Nous étions en retard, et nous avions avertit!! le monsieur était très prévenant et il nous attendait pour nous laisser l'emplacement de sa voiture. il nous a conseillé sur un restaurant en nous disant d'y aller vite car cela fermait tôt. L'appartement est grand, même si la déco est plus que surannée, les lits parfaits!! Plein de petites attentions de notre hôte: café petite viennoiseries , du cacao, du lait... nous n'en avions pas besoin , mais c'était vraiment très gentil. Tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine. l'appartement est idéalement situé au centre de la ville médiévale!!

• Miguel Angel (10/5): - La casa esta en todo el centro de la ciudad. El anfitrión muy agradable y atento, nos permitió aparcar la moto en un garaje privado. La casa cumple todos los servicios y detalles. Para repetir sin ninguna duda. Nos enseño donde ir y donde tomar unas cervezas y cenar.

• Mayte (1/5): CUTRE - La ubicación pero no compensa para nada con el resto de cosas que se han de valorar en un alojamiento TERCER PISO SIN ASCENSOR y con una escalera bastante estrecha. Las fotos del anuncio deben ser de hace años porque no se corresponden con la realidad. No coincide el estado del salón que está bastante descuidado, ni del recibidor donde hay una cesta para ropa sucia junto a la puerta en lugar de un radiador. Aunque en los servicios pone que tiene aire acondicionado, si no lees la descripción no te enteras de que es DE USO RESTRINGIDO a unas horas en las que si no estás en el apartamento no puedes encenderlo, y teniendo en cuenta que es el último piso y le casca todo el día el sol, fue bastante lamentable cuando volvimos al apartamento pasadas las 22.30 y el aire estaba apagado, en plena ola de calor y con temperaturas del día que habían rozado los 40. Llamamos al  propietario y su respuesta no fue razonable y no ofreció ninguna alternativa ni pagando un extra. En invierno debe ser parecido pues los radiadores estaban desenchufados y no pudimos usar esos enchufes (los de los radiadores) para cargar teléfonos porque no tenían corriente al menos por la noche. En el congelador quedaba un paquete de politos infantiles y hielo de a saber cuándo. Además vimos otras cosas descuidadas como el hecho de tener que vaciar nosotros la botella del aire acondicionado que rebosaba después de poco más de 1 hora de estar en marcha (al mediodía, claro). No pude vaciarla del todo porque cuando estaba casi a mitad vi un dragoncillo muerto en el fondo de la botella y me dió bastante asco. Espero que haya tenido la decencia de quitarlo para los siguientes inquilinos, cosa que no había hecho con nosotros. De las duchas tampoco puedo opinar porque vistos estos detalles y la alfombra de goma que tapaba todo el suelo de la bañera, incluido el desagüe, no dejé que se duchara nadie de la familia (otro ahorro para el propietario supongo). En resumen, CUTRE el apartamento y el propietario.

• BEATRIZ (9/5): - Pues que tiene de todo. Es una casa en toda regla. No eche en falta nada. Por otro lado, la ubicación es perfecta. No tiene ascensor. A mí personalmente no me importa pero lo comento porque tal vez a personas con problemas de movilidad les resulte útil saber este dato.

• Collin (10/5): Apartment with personality and a generous, kind owner - We are two self-catering 70+yr olds driving around Portugal & Spain. Juan is the owner of the apartment. He was proactive & responsive throughout the booking process and met us at the apartment on the day. There was a language barrier but managed OK. We stayed 2 nights (Saturday & Sunday) and Juan showed us free places to park very near the apartment and walked around the immediate area with us pointing out places to access the wall, places to eat and the tourist office. You can park in his garage which is a few minutes walk away and slopes down. We didn’t take advantage of it as we have had trouble with our hire car on hills and didn’t want to risk getting stuck. If you visit during the week (when you have to pay on the street), it would be great to use. Others have mentioned the stairs and there are quite a few (3x7 & 4x8) but they’re not steep and there are small landings inbetween sets of stairs. We had no trouble carrying our luggage up and believe me it’s a small price to pay for what you get in this apartment. It is very spacious and comfortable for couples or families with kids. It has everything you need to self-cater & Juan generously left buns for breakfast, bread, butter, milk, jam and water, tea and coffee pods. It was so refreshing to meet the host in person – we didn’t have to deal with one lock-box or online link and it was so simple compared to other bookings not to have to use any technology at all. Juan is a legend and should classed as a super host – he is kind and generous and trusting to guests. Nothing in the apartment is locked away. Although there is no wi-fi we just hot-spotted from our phones so all was good.There was a medieval fair in town the weekend we were there which made it tricky getting to the apartment as some roads were closed but the atmosphere of festivities was great and even though it rained, of course this apartment with everything had 2 umbrellas which we made use of! Not really a criticism - The second (smaller) bathroom is very small but would be great for children to use. If you are a couple the big bathroom is great.
• Joy (9/5): Well worth the short stay in Ciudad Rodrigo. - The apartment is in a quiet historical area in the city's center and is comfortable -- a perfect location for walking around. The host was very friendly, and the kitchen had breakfast items. It's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, but we could manage.
