De maaltijden zijn uitgebreid en smaakte erg goed. Voor onze vroege treinreis om 06:00 uur hadden ze een uitgebreid ontbijtpakket gemaakt. Ik zou deze accommodatie zeker aanraden.

• Kristina (10/5): Sehr empfehlenswertes Homestay in Agra - Wir waren begeistert von diesem tollem Homestay in Agra. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Betreiber. Gemütliches, sauberes Zimmer mit großem Bad und guter Dusche. Und das Essen war besonders köstlich und abwechslungsreich. So gut haben wir während der vier Wochen Rundreise in Indien (auch in Lodges und Restaurants) nur selten gegessen. Abends sitzt man im schönen, kleinen Garten und nimmt das Abendessen in geselliger Runde mit anderen Gästen ein. Eine absolute Wohlfühlunterkunft mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Hinter den hohen Mauern bekommt man vom trubeligen Stadt-Viertel draußen kaum noch etwas mit. Da fällt mir nichts ein.

They even came out with us to watch the wedding parades and ensure were safe and enjoying the experience. they arranged the Taj, taxi and trains with no fuss and provided amazing food at every meal. Fantastische zelfgekookte maaltijd, dit kun je dagelijks tijdig aangeven, dan wordt er voor je gekookt. Douche prima en bedden ook fijn. Locatie ook prima. Zitten een paar winkeltjes in de buurt. Wij moesten voor onze vlucht al om 4.00 uur vertrekken en kregen een heerlijk ontbijt to go mee. Niets!

• Serena (10/5): A lovely gem. - Great homestay in perfect position to visit the Taj Mahal. The staff is lovely, the place is extremely clean and the breakfast was awesome. The garden is an hidden gem of peace in the middle of busy streets of Agra. I couldn't recommend this place more. Nothing.

• Noemi (10/5): Alojamiento con encanto cerca del Taj - Un alojamiento con mucho encanto, súper limpio y muy nuevo. Las personas que lo dirigen son extremadamente amables te hacen sentir como si estuvieras en casa. Mi estómago venía resentido de la ciudad anterior y me prepararon una cena light solo para mí pero a la mañana siguiente como no bajé a desayunar fueron a comprarme un coco fresco y un suero en polvo para que no me deshidratara. Nunca me habían tratado tan bien alguien que no me conoce en un alojamiento. Un 10 en todo de verdad. Es como un hotel con encanto. No duden en reservar.

The landlady offered to help my wife drape saree and guided us to the authentic petha shop. Outside it's not a great surrounding but inside it's fairly cosy and comfortable, artistic and creative. Although the place is just around a KM from Taj Mahal and is well connected. The Uber cabs arrive almost till the doorstep and if you get late, all you need is drop a message or call. NA

The Taj Mahal is in walking distance around 20 minutes away. Breakfast is homemade and very delicious. We didn't see the Taj Mahal because of to much fog 😢
• Ashley (10/5): Loved it! Would stay again! - Loved anything about this place. Of all the places that we’ve stay so far, it has been the most comfortable and welcoming. They provided breakfast and dinner (for a small extra cost) and accommodated me being gluten free by making special breads for me for every meal. It must have been newly renovated too because everything was pristine. WiFi wasn’t reliable in the rooms but worked perfectly well from the common areas.

• Charlotte (10/5): - Der leider viel zu kurze Aufenthalt war rundum perfekt: Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und hübsch eingerichtet, es gab neben dem Frühstück auch noch ein fantastisches Abendessen, bei dem man mit anderen Gästen in Kontakt gekommen ist. Die Lage ist perfekt - man kann zu Fuß zum Taj Mahal laufen. Und was uns besonders gefallen hat: die ruhige und unkomplizierte Art der Gastgeber. Vielen herzlichen Dank!

• Melanie (10/5): - The Homestay was beautiful so clean , homely and the staff went out their way to make you comfortable and welcome. It honestly was like coming home. The staff gave us local sweets, chai that was the best I've had in india and made special treats for us. I wanted to pay for these but owners wouldn't accept. Honestly felt like family here. I was very very sad to leave . Location fantastic walking distance to attractions and nice cafes close. The young guys who worked here so nice smiley couldn't do enough for you. They all worked so hard. The room was beautiful so spacious and immaculate and beautifully decorated. Bed amazingly comfortable and the bathroom fantastic mini toiletries and the best hot shower I've ever had in my life. Better than some hotels in London. Not possible to mention anything as all was perfect.

• Ankit Rampuria (10/5): Highly recommended - Definite recommendation from me. It is located about 1km away from Taj Mahal. The rooms were spacious and the linen and towels clean. The garden has a nice dining area but it was too cold to sit outside. The cherry on the cake was the family (Rohit, Sanjita & their 6 yr old daughter) running the homestay, they put effort in making us comfortable. Breakfast (complimentary) & dinner (500 per pax) were home cooked (at least most of the stuff) & delicious. Rohit even helped in buying gajak for me to take home. A minor suggestion than a dislike. There can be another 1-2 sockets in the room if there are more than 1 guest staying as room heater etc. need to be plugged in apart from our gadgets. Currently, there were only 2 adjacent to the bed.

Also, not being vegetarian, me and my wife ended up eating for four days, the lovely nice home cooking vegetarian food, that was prepared for us. • Saskia (10/5): Wonderful experience in Agra - Everything, the home was beautiful everything was decorated in a very tasteful style. The homeowners were really kind and accommodating, they helped us find a local tailor and helped translate our needs to get exactly the result we were looking for. They cooked a fantastic dinner for us and even prepared a lunch pack for us to take on the train. The breakfast was also delicious. I could not recommend this homestay enough!! Nothing everything was perfect!

• Julia Pitkin (10/5): A breath of calm after weeks of city chaos. - Everything. We fell head over heels for Coral Country Homestay. It delivered exactly what its profile promised. After 21 days in India and 8 stays, Coral Country Homestay had traditional feel with modern comforts. It’s run by a hands-on family, everyone from the youngest to the eldest showing up with genuine warmth, with that subtle, steady feminine touch. From the rooftop, you can spot the dreamy, ghost-soft outline of the Taj Mahal hovering on the horizon. The food was tasty too, Indian and European breakfast. We’d recommend this homestay without hesitation. There was nothing we didn't like.
• Jenny hope (10/5): Just what we needed. - Coral Country offered a wonderful sense of calm amongst the bustle of the outside streets. Our room was spotless, the bathroom was huge and very clean, and the beds were comfortable. I loved all the colour and the courtyard setting that is available. The dinner was delicious and very affordable, and the breakfast was a feast! The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help us in any way they could. New, charming, and so much better than those big hotels! Nothing.

El desayuno es lo mejor de todo, es delicioso y muy variado. La ubicación es muy buena y la zona se siente segura, 8 minutos caminando desde la entrada donde puedes tomar los carritos de golf que te llevan a la entrada del Taj Mahal.

• Rita (9/5): Sehr gut. Zum empfehlen. - Lage: auf einer Seitenstraße wenig Meter von einer vielbefahrener Strasse. Die Anlage ist allerdings relative gut Lärmgeschützt durch eine Mauer zur Strasse. Die Besitzer haben Wunder in einem kleinen Raum geschafft - der Hof ist gepflegt, schön beleuchtet, dekorativ hübsch (erinnert mich etwas an dem Hippie-Stil der 70-er Jahren) (ja, ich bin so alt) mit Eßtisch außen. Die Besitzer haben sich Gedanken gemacht - alles wirkt geliebt. Frühstück war gut und man konnte sich total satt essen - sobald etwas am Tisch fast aufgegessen wurde wurde mehr gebracht bis man `Halt!´ sagt. Wir haben auch zum Abend zweimal gut gegessen. Es ist kein Nobelherberge aber liebevoll und kompetent geführt. Nichts.
• Cheeku Bhasin (10/5): A gem of a place - A very cosy and tastefully done up property with large clean rooms and bathrooms. We were so pleasantly surprised. The family that run the place are ever so kind and helpful. The breakfast and dinner were delicious. It is very well located for accessing the East Gate of the Taj Mahal. We loved our stay here. It was excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to recommmend Coral Country Homestay.

Il trattamento è familiare, molto disponibile ed efficiente la famiglia che vi lavora. E' stato utile il loro intervento per la prenotazione di un'auto che ci ha portato verso la meta successiva.

• olivier (10/5): Superbe ! - Superbe séjour, compte tenu de notre départ tardif, nous avons pu prolonger facilement notre séjour sur place. Superbe accueil du Manager, très à l'écoute. Il nous a également aidé pour la recherche de billets de transports pour la suite de notre voyage. Le soir de notre arrivée, nous avons pu bénéficier d'une proposition de diner sur place, un délicieux et gargantuesque menu végétarien nous a été servi. En outre, il est situé à une distance raisonnable de l'entrée Ouest du Taj Mahal, nous avons ainsi pu profiter d'une visite du monument au lever du soleil et du breakfast (très complet) à notre retour. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre, également silencieuse. Grand merci à l'équipe du Coral et surtout du Manager fort sympathique. Tout est parfait

• Priyanka (10/5): I recommend this to everyone looking for a home-like Indian experience. - The property itself is super nice, but what is even better is the staff! The family that lives there has a little girl that was the highlight of our trip, I will visit again. They even went above and beyond and helped us anything that we needed. Nothing, everything was super nice.
• Jane (10/5): great place to stay - Very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great, you can also request to have dinner, which I would totally recommend, homemade food at its best! Staff are very attenuative and helpful. The place is clean and in a good location for the Taj Mahal. There is a nice courtyard to chill in and meet other people. I would definitely recommend staying here.

• Christophe (10/5): Beautiful retreat to visit Taj Mahal. - First the people at coral country have been incredibly nice and helpful (good contact before arrival and during our stay, helped with useful information for our visits in Agra, booked a driver for us) Second the place offers large and clean rooms, hot water, and is situated in a quiet neighborhood We chose to accept the offer for a dinner at coral, it was extremely good as was the breakfast. The location is great from our perspective, in a local neighborhood not one of those areas filled with tourist hotels. It is a 20 minute walk to the east gate of Taj Mahal but after 5 mn you can take the free official shuttle - we only waited a few minutes both ways. Can't think of anything. Honestly.

• Lucy (9/5): An oasis of calm in busy Agra. - We loved our stay at Coral Country. We had a beautiful room, delicious dinner and breakfast, and it was in a great location. We were able to leave our bags before and after checkout which was very helpful.

• Damir (10/5): Everything was great and I highly recommend it. - Location is amazing and the host is super friendly and welcoming. We got a nice coffee + snack welcome when arriving. Everything is so clean and the place is like an oasis in the middle of quite dirty surroundings. Amazing place, it's also 1km from Taj Mahal and they have their own riksha driver to take you to train station. Highly recommended place. Thank you Coral Country Homestay for a pleasant experience. It would be good if the window can open.

Food, both breakfast and evening meal was fresh, authentic and the parathas were straight off the stove - very tasty and excellent value. Room (2) was big and clean. The large bed was very comfortable. Bathroom is large with a very good shower. Good location for the Taj Mahal. The owner and his wife were very helpful and sweet. Thank You.
• Nicolas (10/5): Great stay to visit the Taj Mahal - This homestay was a great place to stay to visit the Taj Mahal . This was the best shower we had on our trip. The host gave us snacks when we arrived and was very nice with us while explaining things. The breakfast was also great. The beds were comfortable and warm. There was also a small heater. The pillows were way too big but there were other ones in the cupboard. We didn't know but also didn't ask so that's on us. Taj Mahal is a 20 min walk but you can likely go by tuk tuk as well. Overall a great stay and a great host. The location on booking.com isn't correct. Check on Google maps for the real location. Not sure how easy this is to change.

• Mélanie (10/5): Very clean room, nice patio, walking distance to Taj Mahal - We only stayed for one night. Our room was very big and clean, probably the cleanest among our stay in India. It was quiet. The owner is very considerate, we arrived very late and he gave us a room on the ground floor so that we wouldn't disturb the other guests' sleep. There is a patio with trees and plant where we enjoyed sitting. I recommend this homestay hotel. Also we could walk to the Taj Mahal by foot from the hotel. Similarly to most hotels we stayed at during our trip, hot water only runs for a limited time in the shower and then the next person has to wait for 10 mins for the container to refill.
