• Mohand (9/5): Excellent séjour au cœur d’Istanbul - J’ai beaucoup aimé Hotel Centrum Istanbul pour son emplacement idéal au cœur d’Istanbul. J’ai pu visiter facilement les principaux monuments et me déplacer sans difficulté grâce aux transports à proximité, notamment Marmaray. J’ai trouvé le personnel très accueillant et toujours prêt à aider. Les chambres étaient confortables, propres et agréables après une journée de visite. J’ai aussi apprécié le petit déjeuner et l’ambiance chaleureuse de l’hôtel. Pour moi, c’est un très bon choix pour profiter pleinement d’Istanbul dans un cadre pratique et confortable.

Glad they had a desk and chair. Not as clear what I needed to pay on arrival or if automatically taken off visa by Booking.com. room a little strange with the configuration. Needed a tea/coffee area to make a tea if wake up.

• anne (10/5): A pleasant week in the nice hotel - Perfect location near everything. Very clean and safe hotel. A water bottle was waiting in the room when I came. And the room was so warm, I liked very much ! The bathroom was good and the shower cabin worked very well, no wet floor. The staff were nice and helpful, thank you very much! Everything was ok

• Isobel (8/5): - Great location and helpful staff. We were joining a tour group at Hotel Centrum and landed in Istanbul the day prior, so booked an extra night prior. They were very accomodating when I accidentally booked a different room type for the first night, upgrading it for free and it was even ready when we arrived mid morning! Breakfast was Turkish breakfast and is great, with beautiful views of the city. Shower pressure in bathroom was great. Interiors are a bit outdated in the rooms, but everything is very clean

• Yahya (8/5): Very good - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel centrum during my trip to istanbul and i can't recommend it enough.. The hotel is ideally situated in the historic hodjapasa district just a short walk from major attractions like the Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque.. The vibrant atmosphere of the area was fantastic with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive from the momenti arrived they went out of their way to ensure i had everything i needed.. My room was spacious clean and beautifully decorated.. The bed was comfortable ensuring a good night's sleep after long days of exploring.. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, featuring a variety of traditional turkish dishes as well.. just needs a few sweet additions.. Centrum hotel exceeded my expectations.. It provided a perfect blend of comfort convenience and local charm.. i can't wait to return..

• Anne (10/5): Nice hotel in the fasinating Istanbul - - hotel in the center was safe - a safebox was easy to use - good wifi - very clean and very warm room, I liked ! There was a terrible noise familys in the next room. They speek very loudly and slamming doors in the midnight at two o clock. It takes many hours. It was a little bit hard to sleep.

• Matthew (8/5): Great Hotel to start off your Turkish Adventure - The location was very central to all the major attractions in Istanbul. The room was affordable and central but quite small.
• Peter (7/5): Satisfactory for price. - Great central location on the Europe side of Istanbul. Close to port. Visited in summer. Staff refused to turn on centrally controlled air conditioning. They said it was broken however it was clearly a new machine.
• Cath (5/5): Mediocre 3-star hotel - 1) Good location,in the centre of the old town.Lots of restaurants and cafes around,but expect to pay tourist prices for everything. You won't find a cup of coffee for below 100 Turkish Lira. 2) Good water pressure in the shower. The hotel is a very basic 3-star one. 1) I felt that the 'blankets' on the bed were very poor quality and too thin as I felt like I was sleeping under a towel.I woke up most nights as I was too cold from the aircon above the bed because the blankets didn't keep me warm. 2)The hotel does not provide shower caps in the bathroom 🤷‍♀️ The bathroom had a small shower only. 3)The lobby,all the common areas and the room in which breakfast is served every morning has no air-conditioning,so I felt very hot and sticky while eating my breakfast in a room temp of 25°C🥵(with humidity). 4) No fresh fruit is provided with breakfast, and the coffee is instant from a small machine(not real,freshly ground coffee). 5) Some of the younger reception staff have limited English proficiency,so they did not always understand me when I requested things. 6)Only 2 free bottles of water are provided in your room upon arrival.Thereafter,you are billed 15 Turkish Lira per 500 ml bottle of water.

• Peter (7/5): All in all, had the air con been turned on, I would have rated higher. Basic accommodation for a basic price. - Good location, central to most aspects on the European side of the city. Very good breakfast by most Turkish hotel standards. Room refrigerator did not work. Shower leaked. Could not turn on air con; was told it was broken but it was a new air con. I booked one night but stayed 2 more as part of a tour group. All got the same response re broken air con - they just did not want to turn on the centrally controlled power. Nights were hot and stuffy as a result.

Requested do up room sign on 3 occasions, which were common on other doors. This did not happen. Water was not provided on 2nd day even following a request. 8

Breakfast has an amazing view. They allowed us to leave our large luggage there while we were on a 8 day tour. I stayed here twice because our tour of Turkey started and ended here. We arrived a day early so The first night we paid ourselves, they gave us a better room, and they allows us to stay in it the 2nd night even though the tour company paid, upon or return, once again tour company paying, the room was much smaller, no tea/coffee maker. Both rooms had no blackout curtains, so it was way too bright during the night.
• Anita (8/5): Tulip pilgrim - Friendly front desk staff. Flexible for early check-in and accommodating about not needing to move rooms when my stay was extended. Proximity to Gulhane Park to view the tulips and to main sites was fantastic. Armchair in the room would make it more comfortable.

Reception staff were helpful Quite a bit of noise from other guests, bags of used laundry left on the landing and stairwells.

They let us check into our room early which was very much appreciated after a long flight, and helped with getting laundry done. The location is very central, close to lots of places of interest and restaurants. There was daily housekeeping so we had fresh tiwels, and our room was sunny..The bathroom was very compact but the room itself (superior twin) was relatively spacious The downside to the central lication is the noise. All three nights have had disturbed sleep, partly due to other guests but it's nearly 4 in the morning as I write this and the bar directly across the road is still open and noisy..

Small rooms. Cleaners can be quite noisy during the day (not ideal if you're trying to sleep). There is air conditioning in the hotel rooms but not elsewhere, so it gets very hot in the lobby.

I am unlikely to stay again in the future- - location was excellent the room particularly the floor was filthy. you had to wear shoes or your feet got so dirty. the property is also looking tired and dated with a number of items broken
