- Helen (9/5): Superb - Location was excellent. Within walking distance to shops and Hotel We are of an older age so we were concerned about no banisters at the steps, also found the uneven forecourt difficult to manage.

- Amith (9/5): A clean and comfortable room with friendly staff. -
- Lynn (5/5): I wouldn’t recommend this Motel, the Manager was not friendly and gave the impression that he had better things to do. I - The bed was comfortable and cosy and the room was clean and well stocked with towels. There was no one in attendance when I arrived , and I had to wait for the Manager to let me in. I was booked for 2 nights and there was only about 1/3 of a roll of toilet paper and 1 very small carton of milk. The the only hand rail was at the end of the verandah so it was difficult to get up the front steps and to carry luggage up the steps. For some reason , I was the only guest staying there for the entire time I was there, so I felt a bit isolated.

An expensive 2 hours at $186
Cracked bathroom window etc etc
- Robert (6/5): Pleasant -
- Phillip (5/5): Passable -
- Larry (10/5): Old country motel under renovation, that said, was nothing wrong with it. We only needed a clean comfortable place to sl - Bed was very comfortable, easy walk to town, owner friendly and helpful.

- Judith (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leanne (10/5): Excellent, loved the rooms, so much so, I took a picture of the barn doors to have built in my home. - As the place was recently renovated it was so clean. Nothing to dislike.
- Kirsty (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jo (6/5): Bed was comfortable - Bathroom seriously needs updating - eg put fly screens on window, vanity around the sink & fan to stop the steaming from shower would be nice
- Simon (10/5): Pingelly Motel Retreat review - Comfortable bed , warm room without needing heating on a cold night .Shower water flow was strong and temperature was great .Flooring was brand new , good tv and tv reception Lock on front door could be better ie a dead bolt .
Bathroom sliding window was unlockable.
Wifi was hit and miss a bit
- Sue-ellen (2/5): We like the town and it’s people, but would not recommend this run down, poorly serviced, motel. - Pingelly is a delightful little town, but the motel is not a good advertisement for the town. Not met upon arrival even though we had nominated a time… had to call a phone number and were told the staff member was at bowls and that keys were under the door mat.
Safety standards not met ie no railings on the verandah, narrow and broken brick steps, loose cabling draped across walls at ceiling height, holes drilled through to adjoining rooms, no exhaust fan in bathroom, no fly screens on windows, bathroom door lock that could only be operated from inside the bathroom, shower screen and recess that had not been cleaned, cobwebs on bathroom window, very dirty carpet, iced up fridge, very old wardrobe that had musty smell, very old noisy air conditioner, inadequate fluorescent lighting, pot holed/patched car park.
False/misleading online advertising showing modern room and pleasant surrounds.
At $170 per night this motel is grossly overpriced.
- Cameron (7/5): Good -
- Pamela (8/5): I would go back again any time. - The manager, Mick, was extremely helpful all the time. He told me where I could get food and what was open and what wasn't. He told me about the situation of the motel and how they were aiming to improve it as soon as they could. The toilet was very close to the shower wall and I managed okay but wonder if taller or larger people could. A stain on the carpet didn't put me off.
- Tracy-lee (5/5): room was comfortable, but definately needs refurbishing - i did see room1 which looks fab. -
- Margaret (5/5): Passable - this place is in permanent renovation and is really not suitable for anyone to stay - in short its a dump
- Kirstie (8/5): Overall I think was a great place to stay, renovations look great and the service was good. - The renovated room was lovely, clean and well presented. I feel the room was a little expensive at $230 per night. I’m saying that, I would book with the motel again.
- Jeremy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Melanie (1/5): Bad -
- Amy (3/5): Poor excuse for a motel - The bed Came in at 7pm to being greeted to the destination by construction gates everything was closed up and signs on the gates and surrounding grounds saying closed due to renovations...no prior knowledge of this given to me before my arrival. No one to greet me and no sign of life less then impressed I rang a number that had tried to call me before whilst on the road turns out was the caretaker of site(named mike). He wanders down from the pub and opens gate tells me to drive in and meet me at 'reception' there was no internet range for him to connect to internet to take my payment so he asked me to write down all my details and would process it later. I asked about the WiFi available to guests he fells me there is one I ask for the password he then proceeds to tell me that he doesn't know what it is and doesn't know where to locate it.this leaves me high and fry being able to let my family know what has happened and that I've arrived safe. He then tells me he will show me to my room - I agree to this thinking he's just going to show me where to locate room and then leave me to my own devices. Instead Mike then comes into the room proceeds to show me the bed/the cupboard/the little kitchenette/the air-conditioning and the bathroom by this point I'm feeling uncomfortable I don't really need to know where to find the bathroom or bed being that it's a small one bedroom room - I make noises about leaving to go into town to find internet service think he would make his exit- he does and this gives me some relief. Before he leaves he tells me the construction gate is closed at 8.45pm and reopens 5am. I drive off to find a phone box or the likes and in the process of driving out the gate he flags me down beside my car to tell me he's heading back to the pub if I want to join I make my excuses and drive off.
