• Olivia (9/5): - Super hotel avec une vue incroyable sur la ville Le petit dej était de qualité et assez intimiste avec une variété de salé et sucré parfait avant une bonne journée de visite. Proche du château et a environ 25 min à pieds de la place centrale . Je recommande mais attention à signaler quand même : côte importante à monter avant d arriver à l hotel ce qui peut être compliqué pour les moins sportifs Le manque d acceuil du personnel assez froid dans l ensemble et pas de volet donc forte luminosité à partir de 6h du matin dans la chambre...penser à prendre les masques pour les yeux et éviter le réveils trop matinaux...

On the second day, we woke up to someone playing guitar under the windows, which created such a romantic atmosphere. The bed was large and very comfortable, and the room was very clean. There was wine waiting for us, as well as coffee and tea. I’m extremely satisfied with my stay. The breakfasts were also good — there was everything you need, a classic selection. The only small, minor downside for me was that the coffee at breakfast was a bit bitter and tasted slightly burnt.

Pokój bardzo przestronny i czysty, bardzo duże i wygodne łóżko. Na powitanie kieliszek proseco oraz butelka czerwonego wina w pokoju, co dodatkowo tworzyło romantyczną atmosferę. W pokoju kapsułowy ekspres do kawy. Most Karola w odległości krótkiego spaceru, zamek praski, dosłownie obok, podobnie jak klasztor na Strahowie ze wspaniałą biblioteką, punktem widokowym oraz trasami spacerowymi. Dla mnie idealnie. Sugerowałabym, aby przemyśleć usunięcie możliwości parkowania pod oknami sali śniadaniowej

• Charles Parry (9/5): This experience met our highest expectations, with staff unfailingly cheerful and helpful - The room and breakfast were of high quality, clean and efficiently presented. The location of the hotel was perfect for seeing Prague up from the Charles Bridge and a shorter way on to the castle. Prague is not flat and from the Charles bridge to the Castle quite a climb. No improvements considered

• Jonathan (9/5): - The hotel rooms were beautiful and very clean. The view from the rooms was spectacular; Prague castle on one side and the old town upfront. Breakfast was also very good and the staff was really helpful. Nothing to complain about. The only downside to the hotel is that it is located at the top of the hill just under Prague Castle and you have to reach it on foot.
• Léa (10/5): Hôtel parfait ! - Hôtel très bien situé pour profiter de quelques jours de Prague, à 5min à pieds du château (permet d'y retourner le soir quand il n'y a plus personne) et loin de l'agitation de la vieille ville. J'ai adoré le quartier (nombreux restaurants et boutiques sympas). La chambre était fidèle à la description, lit confortable, salle de bains parfaite et très propre. J'étais au 4ème et dernier étage et c'était très calme. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est délicieux et varié. Le personnel de l'hôtel est gentil et prévenant. Les oreillers sont un peu durs et pas très confortables

Taxiservice naar station voor vaste prijs. In het restaurant hebben we 2x prima gedineerd voor een redelijke prijs. Goed gelegen nabij een aantal te voet bereikbare bezienswaardigheden. Op onze kamer was het uitzicht beperkt.

• Amila (8/5): A good experience overall - The breakfast was very good and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel is uphill so it’s a bit difficult if you have a luggage and are not coming by a car. We were first given a very small room that had a strong sewage smell that we felt right after entering the room. We immediately reported this and the stuff gave us another room even though the lady at the reception did not apologize for it. There was overall a lack of kindness overall. No greetings when you enter/leave the hotel, etc.

• Christine (10/5): Wunderbar - Unser Zimmer hatte eine unglaublich tolle Aussicht auf die Stadt. Die Lage ist hervorragend, das Frühstück exzellent, das Personal sehr freundlich, schnell und umsichtig. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls sehr gemütlich und das Essen toll. Wir waren begeistert.

• Pernille (10/5): Virkelig dejligt ophold! - Vi boede i lyse, moderne og rummelige værelser i gammel, velholdt ejendom. Skøn beliggenhed lige ved slottet og et kvarter med masser af små caféer og restauranter. Personalet var virkelig hjælpsomme og imødekommende.

• Kseniia (8/5): Ein Hotel, wo an die Gäste gedacht wird. - Das Hotel wirkt gepflegt und sauber aus, du fühlst dich versorgt. Die ganze Ausstattung war sauber und funktionsfähig. Man fühlt und sieht, dass an den Gästen gedacht wird und die geschätzt werden! Das Frühstück war auch gut. Die warmen Gerichte, die Süßigkeitenauswahl und vor allem die Müsli-Theke waren hervorragend! Die Frühstückszeiten, das Frühstück um 10 Uhr zu beenden... ich weiß es nicht, bin doch im Urlaub :/ Außerdem hätte ich etwas mehr Auswahl von frischen Gemüse und kalten Getränken gewünscht. Die Kissen waren leider etwas alt, aber nicht so alt, dass man darauf nicht mehr schlafen kann.

• Mirela (10/5): If I return to Prague, I know where I will stay :) - Some places just know how to make you feel welcome and at home. And Golden Star is one of them. The attention to small details, like an extra pillow or towel, a zoom mirror for make-up, a small welcome gift or an umbrella for rainy days. Things that make you feel like they care for their client. Good breakfast. Friendly staff, good location. Some people complain is uphill. Prague transport system allows you to always go downhill, with a bit of research on what trams to take :)) Just because you get too see they try their best, you get picky. So... I assume you pay extra attention to details. Like the pillows being a bit worn out (when the filling gets clumpy). And that is noted down only because it has a high rating on comfort for sleeping. Otherwise, there's not much to complain about.

Starting with the prices, which are excellent for the quality offered and location within the historical center, right next to the Prague Castle and in short walking distance of other places such as the Carol Bridge, Strahov Monastery, Astronomical Clock. The hotel itself is a piece of history, the rooms are big, clean and incredibly beautiful. Delicious breakfast as well, with fresh and high quality products. Also, the staff was so kind and helpful!
